I want the website to show a lighbox with video started as soon as it is loaded. I should also have an option to close the video.

I've implemented Orbit slider [URL] and everything works great, BUT when I also implement Video lightbox [URL] the orbit slider broke. So it seems jquery-1.4.4.min.js for orbit and jquery.tools.min.js for video lightbox don't like to play together. Which ever one is loaded in first does not work, this is a problem as you can see on the page I am building: [URL] The first image box is the orbit which is loaded second and works fine, the second box is the video lightbox which does not work. I emailed the lightbox ppl and they suggested there was a conflict with another module and to load lightbox last, great advice to get lightbox working not so great for the orbit slider.

The one thing I didn't like about the code was that the timer was not set in minuets or seconds it was set in hundreds ex. 800 would be equivalent to IDK I would have to guess and it wasn't very accurate.

I currently open a new window to display this preview page. I would prefer to keep the user within one window at all times to avoid confusion of multiple windows and therefore was wondering if there is a way to display this preview page as an overlay similar to how lightbox displays images? I am currently using jquery lightbox to display some images and also jquery for other elements of the site such as tabs.

Is there an extension or plugin that could take a url to some media -- video, audio, image -- and just load it / display it on the page? I came across jQuery Media [URL]... and it looks like a good start at what I'd need. Although it just focuses on video and audio, not general images.

Dunno if its jquery or javascript but Irememberseeing somewhere that you can use code to load a document into your webpage. I want my site to be easy to update so that when I make a html change it will update throughout all of my pages. So I want to have the page load both the top and bottom parts of the page.
I would use a frame or iframe but those are not good for search engines.

I got this working in chrome and was happy until I got to check out IE8! Enough said about that.The code I have now will work (in both chrome and IE8) if I manually set the height and width of the image but I cannot get them dynamically, for instance if images have different sizes, I've been trying for a while now but cannot get anywhere with it.The code I am currently using (of my own creation) is;

Here is what I am trying to do with no luck: I am sending an HTML marketing e-mail with a call to action to watch a video on my website. Since html e-mail code has to be pretty generic and simple I want to have the link inside the email be something like [URL].. Once the anchor is received on the web page the video automatically pops up and plays.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI am using the Lightbox plugin for a gallery page. On the live site two of the images I added after I built the original gallery WILL NOT LOAD/SHOW on the lightbox! I cannot find any errors/discrepancies in my coding, and the previews (using Dreamweaver) in several browsers work FINE.
I have deleted and re-put the entire site from scratch, but still no success.
What am I missing?

From my experience with HTML5 video so far (which isn't much), Firefox seems to switching to the "HAVE_ENOUGH_DATA" state too soon which is causing very choppy playback while the video is buffering. Is there a way to start the loading of video as soon as the page loads instead of waiting for the user to press play? I don't mean "autoplay", I want the video to start buffering as soon as the page loads without it playing.

This script is within a blank webpage on my IIS server. Essentially, all the elements of the web app's UI get thrown within a div, but it doesn't seem to be loading the other parts of the page such as the <head>. I read on another thread that it is not a good idea to try and put everything within a div cause of the other html and head tags that already exist. Basically, what I want to do is access the webpage that has the above script and have it re-direct me to the Web Application's URL and adding in the custom HTTP Request headers.

The images sometimes are not loading in LightBox after a while when using firefox. Has it got to do with the LightBox Ajax ?
I have been following a tutorial for an image gallery, i can upload images and use gd to create thumbnails that when clicked display the full sized image, but the full sized image is to big to fit in my design, i have managed to get the rel="lightbox" attached to the thumbnails as they are displayed but it wont load the full image, the loading ring just keeps going round, does anybody know how to fix this? is it even possible.
