Jquery :: Can't Add More Than 13 Pictures To Gallery

I implemented the plugin of jquery.cycle.all.min.js as suggested in a previous thread by Sitepoint users but now it appears, I can't add more then 13 pictures to the gallery. The gallery works with over 13 pictures, but the prev/next buttons don't appear anymore and don't work. So I was wondering if anyone knows the explanation and solution for this?I rechecked everything and I've got it on multiple pages that over 13 pictures you can't press or see the next/prev buttons!
Im new to javascript and I need to make a website for my computer science class that includes a photo gallery within a table and there has to be two buttons on top so you can scroll through the pictures.. a next and a back button. here is a link to the assignment [url]..

I am looking for a upload form to upload pictures and then when the pictures are uploaded, then they get emailed to me. Kind of like a contact form but attached is the pictures.
I've found a post regarding this issue but it's a little bit different this time.So I've created a .php script which creates some galleries where users can click them and browse their respective photos. It works like a charm in Chrome and FireFox, but IE doesn't like it.With this code:

When I click on the gallery thumb it should open the first photo in fancybox and browsing through the gallery should by peanuts. And it is, but with IE just opens the .jpg in a blank page without fancybox. The strange thing is I've used the same script approach in another website and the fancybox works just fine with IE too. So why doesn't in this case?
how to make the following two simple image galleries:This one displays a specific image when its link is clicked ((URL address blocked: See forum rules)/tests/gallerysimp.html) And this one displays the previous/next image for whatever's showing ((URL address blocked: See forum rules)/tests/prevnext.html). (During its code, it points to this .js file ((URL address blocked: See forum rules) /tests/ nextPrevious.js).)
My question is, how do I combine those two galleries? How can I make one gallery that contains both kinds of links? Since the two galleries were copied from different places, the names they use aren't the same, and I'm not sure what to change to make it all unified. (I tried fiddling with it for over an hour before giving up.)
I want to use jquery or js code to do the following work:
get the list of files of a folder (files are pictures) that the folder is in remote. and get the names of those pictures and store them in an array.. to create dynamically img element in page.
can javascript do that? without using of a backend language( web server)
I have a problem on a Wordpress website: I gave certain pictures (as elements of the layout) rounded corners with a jQuery plugin. Some posted pictures I want to load with Lightbox (or similar). I have used several different Lightbox plugins for Wordpress (Lightbox 2, jQuery Lightbox, Simple Lightbox etc. etc.) but none of them work. I got some weird version of GreyBox working but FireFox gives an error every time before opening it so that's real shady code. As you can see on this page is that I include jQuery for the rounded corners at first but then the Lightbox plugin automatically adds it's own version of jQuery and they cancel each other out. I know for a fact this is the problem because I 'lose' the rounded corners as soon as I turn ON the Lightbox plugin. Once that is turned off the nice rounded corners show again. I tried several different plugins, changing the order of the jQuery code around, making both the rounded corners plugin and Lightbox rely on one single jQuery statement. Nothing has worked so far.
The jQuery Cycle Plugin is very good, My site is usingit on the home page, the code is exactly as on the basic example here: [URL] The example above works very good in all browsers, except of Internet Explorer 9. In Internet explorer, for some reason, it just shows all pictures at the same time (please see the screenshot capture attached). I'm just wondering if anyone else has bumped into the same problem and if there is any way to fix it.
I have a simple list of members names that I pull from my members database for printing members info. I want to show the members profile/family image as well. Because its for printing I want to add the ability to hide/unhide the pics. I put the pics in a div with an ID.
I'm new at Javascript, and have written a script for a series of random roll-over button images, but one thing I would like to add is a function that checks to make sure that there are no duplicates in the randomly generated variables that choose the pictures.
Can anyone give me a hand with this? One other thing I can't seem to figure out is how to manage the "onLoad" aspect of caching my roll-over images (DW has locked the <body onload> function into a template, so I can't mess with it...). so my rollover graphics are grabbed from the server in "real time" during mouse-over, which is a bit "goofy" and "slow" in terms of instant rollover effect. I'm sure that there is a much more efficient way of doing this, but I've been able to learn a lot by tweaking DW's way of doing things, so it's not a total loss.
In an external JS file, I set up a series of 10 random variables using the Math.random and Math.round functions like so:

do ya know an efficient way to get the coordinates of a pictures so that I can use them to create a map? It is a rectangle. Here is the code I set up for a page:

I wish to access several pictures on my page by defining them as an array. This way I can either loop through them or access them by array index.
What I am really doing is writing my own picture gallery and slide show. The reason I am doing this is so that I can have my web page look exactly the way I want. In addition, it is an excellent way to learn Javascript.
I just spent 3 hours analyzing tons of lightboxes, image galleries, jQuery plugins. Now I'm a bit frustrated.I don't want a snazzy animation effect.I don't want a pre-made layout.This is what I want:On page load, 12-15 bigger images are preloaded into browser cache.Div#container contains a default image.When user clicks a thumbnail link, the corresponding (bigger) preloaded image shows inside #container.
i have my folder with index page in named "tester_fixed.html" and then a folder for images where i have place header1 header 2 and header 3 . i downloaded a script from [URL] and edited my images in and i think i mucked up as they are not showing.

I am using a jquery gallery slideshow on my homepage and I am having an issue where the images loaded before the dom is loaded causing the images to display in an ugly stack.
I combated this a bit by setting a height on the div and setting the overflow to hidden. however you can still see the unstyled stack of images within the small div for a couple of seconds before the page is loaded.
Im trying to edit a homepage for a friend of mine. He wants the page to have a table of 12 total pictures that randomly rotate on refresh.i found this code that refreshes the pictures:

I want to know if how a javascript can recognize the name of a picture. Let say i have two pictures.
Picture A. name is "bubble.jpg" ...then Picture B. name is "duck.jpg"
When i hover the mouse using the onmouseover() function on one of the picture. The javascript should smart enough to recognize the name of the picture and display the name of that picture. Is this possible?
