JQuery :: Unable To Get Error Code When Sent By PHP Forcefully In Response?
Dec 16, 2011
$.ajax({
url: "someurl.php",
success: function(data){
//..process on success..
},
I want to reload the page if session is timed out so I am checking the user session at PHP file and if session is timeout I am sending error code. if I get the error code in response I will reload the page so that it will load login page.
I'm having problems performing a simple load(...) request to bring in HTML content from a partner Oracle system within the same domain. Our portal has a built-in SO connection will handles security for me transparently. However during the process it initiates a 302 temporarily moved response which seems to trip up an AJAX request, but doesn't trip up Firefox when accessed through the address bar. If I use the same URL in an IFRAME it's totally fine.
After tons of googling, searching the forums, and the bug tracker database I cannot find anyone who has experienced this problem. Before I open a bug ticket I'd like community feedback to help me see if I am doing anything wrong.
I am using jquery.ajax() to make a POST call to web server which returns HTTP 201 response for successful creation of object at server. Since 201 is a success I expect the success function specified with jquery.ajax to execute but instead it executes the error function specified with jquery.ajax. Here is how I am using jquery.ajax call.
I am unable to work my Jquery code for checking all the checkboxes which is inserted in a GridView User control. However,The same code works perfectly fine when I change the user control to a web form.ie,from .ascx to .aspx.[code]This code works perfectly if i change from a user control back to web form
I would like to be able to access the raw CSS code that has been loaded for the specific page. I'm not looking to change the code (I know how to use jQuery for CSS manipulation etc...) I just want to parse through it and extract some useful information.I considered just loading the stylesheet references in the page, then placing a request to the server for the .css file, but this feels messy even if the browser happens to have the page cached from having just requested it.Has anyone got a clue as to how one would go about this? As always, I think its best if it uses jQuery XD, however, I just really want to get this done
Within an aspx page, I have a form with asp controls (text boxes) that I'm loading within a jQuery modal popup dialog. Once the user fills out the form and the register button is clicked in the modal form, it invokes a code-behind function, which seems to be working fine. However, the problem I'm facing is in the code-behind function; none of the field values in the modal popup form are being passed to the code-behind function.I was unable to attach some snapshots directly to the post, so I uploaded it at the following urls:
I want to get the solution for a null xml response at the moment if there is no error i made a work around so the xml returns a fullstop which shows up as an error but in white. I would like to know if there is a way to keep the elementByiD as null when the xml is null as it was returning the error object required is there a better way of doing this????
Some times the PHP server that hosting my site become down, while, the server still executes the html and JavaScript. I am looking for a method that resolves the response code of a page (e.g.: 404, 500) and redirect the user agent to another url. Can JavaScript help me in this case?
I'm unable to find solution for dreamweaver reporting syntax error with the following page:
[URL]
I am revamping my website so the css is not set up for this page but that's okay. I have put in the various javascripts based on the product so the page is similar to a template. The syntax error is for the second set of boxes, the bracelet length options, and specifically for line with:
form.amount.value = 6.5 inches; from the following script-- <SCRIPT language=javascript> function BraceletLength(form) {
I am writing one iframe dynamically from my code like below. document.write("<iframe src='" + location + "?querStr=" + querStr"' width='0px' height='0px'></iframe>"); location is something like - [URL] and the querStr is some parameters passing to the iframe. querStr contains some parameters which have timestamp appended. So the request url is always unique. In IE/FF2 i am seeing proper unique request (200 response code) but in Firefox 3, the url is getting cached. From my code (before sending the request) i can see proper generation of the request but actually the request url gets cached. I saw it using fiddler and the response code is 304.
I am developing a web page . For this i am using Javascript embedded in html. In the application ,the user can input data via interfaces in the page which is chosen and read from a master xml file , the chosen data then needs to be stored and saved in a xml file.I have designed the web page in FrontPage.
Now the problem i face is while trying to save the output xml file i get error Permission Denied , error code 0 . This happens when i try to open the page in browser IE 6.0 SP2.I am using DOM parser methods for doing the xml manipulations/savings etc.urprisingly this works in another machine.Also can i use the all of the same javascript code if i want to run it in an IIS. Do i have to do some changes to make it server side javascript code.
I have an ajax post which returns a large html response. It is getting truncated at 98784 characters everytime. Is there a limit to a response size or a way around this?
I have managed to succesfully post the data to the php page... (i can see using firebug that it IS being sent) but i get a message Quote: Apache HTTP Server has encountered a problem and needs to close and the response is empty... what am i doing wrong?is possibly something to do with the space in the value of the options?
HTML parsing error:unable to modify the parent container element before the child element is closed(kb927917) My page is not getting displayed In IE although running good in chromr and mozilla.... And after refreshing in IE it is displayed properly.
would anyone be able to assist with a code for updating information on a daily basis? For example, I wish to update a section of our site every day that has the following timing information:
Everything is tabulated in excel and/or csv, and it also has on line pages in monthly format, but on the main index page, I just need to have a small area that provides it on a daily basis without having to go to an individual monthly page.
var newRow =document.getElementById('tbl1').insertRow(1); // shows correct HTML as expected alert(document.getElementById('tbl1').getElementsByTagName('tr')[2].innerHTML);[code].....
This is how this page [url] should work: click on an abbreviation and see player info to the immediate right of the green field. The left-most 'WR' and 'RB' in the upper portion of the field (imagemap) have javascript assigned to them. Click on these to test.
So far, I get no player info but I do get this error:
I am trying to write a snippet to put in my form and cannot get it to run. I keep getting an undefined error for the variable 'Code' no matter what I do.The goal is present obtain a Time Frame based on an SVCode selected from a group of radio buttons.
