Unable To Find The Form
Feb 12, 2010I have a problem finding Form in javascript.
document.getElementById('MyForm');
return "HTMLUnknownElement". But if I add a dummy form previous for the one I actually want to find, then:
document.getElementById('DummyForm'); returns "HTMLUnknownElement", and then document.getElementById('MyForm'); Returns "HTMLFormElement", that is what need. But this unknown element, the dummy form creates a lot of other problems with my site so this solution is no good for me. Why cant I find my Form?

This is a part of the larger .js code. It fixes .PNG images problem specific to IE6. Everything works fine in Firefox, Opera, IE6 and Chrome. The problem appears only in IE7 and IE8. JavaScript stops executing somewhere after the second line, and the browser reports an error in .js file on that line.

Jul 18, 2009I am developing a web page . For this i am using Javascript embedded in html. In the application ,the user can input data via interfaces in the page which is chosen and read from a master xml file , the chosen data then needs to be stored and saved in a xml file.I have designed the web page in FrontPage.
Now the problem i face is while trying to save the output xml file i get error Permission Denied , error code 0 . This happens when i try to open the page in browser IE 6.0 SP2.I am using DOM parser methods for doing the xml manipulations/savings etc.urprisingly this works in another machine.Also can i use the all of the same javascript code if i want to run it in an IIS. Do i have to do some changes to make it server side javascript code.

The problem is that when I try to close the browser in IE on the main page I get an popup with an error which says: "An error has occured on the script on this page"
Do you want to continue running scripts on this page?
"Yes" or "No" (Buttons to Click)
I have to click the 'Yes' button about thirty times before the browser will finally close. Does anyone have any idea what this is?

Unable To Add New Field
Sep 5, 2011I have this code that adds field when the user hit the "add new field" button.The problem here is, once you added an input field, then fill it out, then add a new field again, the info in the first field be erased.As how the code runs, you have to add all the fields that you want to fillout FIRST before entering you data in those fields. I believe its not logical to do that.
