How to reset an input field to its default value, which is depend on another. There is a way to clear the input field but not resetting to its default value.

I have 2 radio buttons. Depends of the radio button selection some other input fields are required. Those things are already done using the click function. It clears the input field. But I need to reset to its default value.

The autocomplete suggestions are displayed and formatted properly. But when I select the one that I want, the result briefly appears in the input field and disappears. Simultaneously, the entered result automatically triggers another jquery search. The contents of my JSP page is given below. The same jquery code works perfectly well with other JSPs.

I have a website which uses several forms to input data, each form contains fields for the user to complete and at the end of the each form the user has the option to proceed or go back.The problem is, on form1 there is a drop down box which determines the content of subsequent forms but when a user partially completes form2 but then goes back to form1 and changes the drop down box selection, the onchange function reloads the subsequent forms but it does not clear the previous form2 values so an error is generated because those inputs are not required with the change made to the drop down box. I have tried setting the ids to zero using getelementbyid on form1 but it does not seem to work presumably because the ids are on form2 not form1?

i have a form in which a hidden field (initial value as Ɔ', and my javascript set it to Ƈ' when an event is trigged). In the same form, i have a reset field. But I realized that the hidden field is not reset to Ɔ' when i push the
reset button. If I simply change the node from

to

Everything is working as expected (the value is reset to Ɔ' when I

The purpose of the jQuery code is that when you select an item from the select field that other items need to be disabled(works correct in all conditions) and that at the same time text in corresponding divs' text are altered. The thing is that the script basically works.. however when you've made a selection only the disabling works everytime but the divs are only updated once, so you need to refresh the page if you want to do it again..

Am using Struts framework. I want the cursor to be on the first field (text box/select box) when i run the JSP. I've tried with the following command <body onLoad="document.login.userid.focus"> login is my form name and userid is text box name where I want the cursor to be but it didnt work.
