Mar 16, 2010I am a PHP programmer and new to Javascript and jQuery and I have tried about 20 examples/tutorials and cannot seem to get even close to what I want.I have a form (PHP/MySQL) with a list of subjects I got from my database, and then create a set of radio buttons from that list. And based on what radio button they select, I need to pass that variable to a div (at least that's what I want to use) and then show a list of videos that match the radio buttons value. I don't care if its a get or post or other.I tried to use GET or POST so I can use that value for my PHP/MySQL lists.I am open to any suggestions/tutorials, etc.

Jul 21, 2010i have a form giftcert.html -that has text input boxes the user fills in and a link to the next page for the user to pick a gift card giftcards.asp -the user picks a gift card by radio buttons (over 100)grouped by name and then pushes a button to take them to the next page passing the value of the radio and image (here is the issue) giftcert.asp -this page displays the text boxes from the first page with the value already present (used asp to achieve) and the value of the radio button (a stock number - used asp to achieve) and i want a sample of the image attached to the stock number. how do i pass the image attached to the radio button from giftcards.asp to giftcert.asp i don't know where i am going wrong

IsCorrect Function - How To Get Answer From Radio Checked Value
Jun 19, 2009My program generates 10 random questions with random wrong answers in radio and one correct answer also in radio. When I click checkAnswer it should check the right answer and compare to the user provided answer. Please check out isCorrect() function (and see comment). I tried diff things and couldn't get the value out from the radio checked value.

Jan 5, 2011I've been trying to get some Ajax functionality on my rails app and have been stuck on this issue for a couple days... (new to jQuery!). My app has a form on the top of my site that acts as a search. When a user submits the form, they are redirected to a "search_users" page.
Rather than redirecting to a "search_users" page, I want the "search_users" page to load in a div called "page" on current page.. I was able to do this with my sites navigation (so when a person clicks on "home" or "about" or "contact me", nothing refreshes except a div called "pages") but not for the search form.

JQuery :: Dynamically Add Radio Button - Handler To My Form On A Button Click ?
Jul 13, 2010I am trying to produce a web form to allow wedding guests to RSVP. The form allows them to enter a name and select from a radio button whether they will be attending or not. If they select the "yes" radio button then a further pair of radio buttons are displayed for their meal preference.
They can then click a submit button or they can click another button to add another line for another guest which operates in exactly the same way. I've almost got this working, but it seems that the checkbox change handler is lost for the current guest when a new guest is added and the checkbox value is reset. I've got a feeling I'm doing something stupid but can't for the life of me figure out what.

(first box has a 4, second box has a 4, and the third box has an 8. if i click the add button, i should get a "correct" answer in the div below with a green background and if i hit the multiply button the div should say "wrong" with a red background.
