Slider/fade With Colour?
Feb 4, 2011Ive seen on the fox website home page (although this is flash), when the top programme image changes, so does the background colour values of their logo... can this be achieved in js?
From my perspective, i want a image gallery (fade/slider)(pulled from a database), then create some kind of array (maybe in the image db record) of a #colour that i can can add to other elements..

Sep 22, 2009I am using javascript code to change the background colour and font colour of some elements called 'filled') dynamically. For example:

I also want to put a border around these 'filled' elements too - how can I do this is javascript? I can't find an equivelent to style.border = "1px"
JQuery :: Slider Not Working In I.E / What To Do?
Jun 11, 2011I am not a programmer/web developer and have very little knowledge when it comes to coding websites.
I tried to install this slider onto my site: Slides, A Slideshow Plugin for jQuery
It is working just fine in Safari, Chrome and Firefox, but in Internet Explorer the slider and all of the images associated directly to the slider just do not load! No errors are reported by IE.
I've been googling for hours and have read through many threads on this forum trying to find a solution to this, but have so far been unsuccessful.
JQuery :: Menu Slider Not Working?
Oct 16, 2010I just started with jquery because I need a solution for a website that doesn't involve flash. I found this tutorial [URL]and I tried to modify the code without realy knowing what I'm doing, needless to say, it's not working at all.
Basically I have the same idea for my menu but it looks a bit different, instead of using a line underneath the links I want the scroller-image to tween on the x-axis with the white line stopping in the middle of each button. I made the image to fill the whole page so that it covers the scroller-line image underneath, I want the effect of a line expanding and contracting and this is the only way I could figure to do it.

Jan 10, 2012I have a working version of a jQuery image slider that can be seen here. I am trying to implement this into a new website and have copied the code exactly but for some reason the images are not rotating or switching when the thumbnails are clicked. The new slider can be see here - I have it in a test page so that there is no possibility of any other scripts conflicting.

The id #top_news is an empty div, in which the news are shown, and the file top_ten.php gets top 10 news from the database, and outputs a random one. The script is working fine, but what I want is, for news to slide in and when a new article slides in, the old one slides out. It would be even better, if there is an excistant script, for news or divs (a small image and text).ALSO, when I refresh/load the site, it takes the time from setInterval, to load the news.

Easy Slider Numeric Navigation Not Working IE6?
Jan 18, 2011I have inserted the easy slider code into my web page to make a sliding gallery. I attempted to modify the code so that numeric navigation AND arrow navigation (next, previous) could toggle slides BUT I can't see the number navigation in IE6. Every other browser I have tested (mac Safari, Firefox, and Google Chrome as well as IE7,8) work perfectly. Since I modified the original, I assume the error is in my javascript code OR in my CSS.Here is the Javascript:

Nivo Slider Is Not Working For Multiple Times?
Dec 7, 2011I'm messing a lot with the issue but it is driving me nuts Issue is, I'm applying Nivo Slider on 3 instances. It works fine on 2 but not 3rd. If I apply the Nivo Slider on 2 instances then it works fine for 1 but not for 2nd. So Strange.
