I need some help with a path change. It works for just one image but when I use it for multiple images they all change to the same one. I need the src images/fr to change to images/en with a click.
Im looking at a pretty old table driven site for a client. Its an affiliate based site so affiliates of the company can use their booking engine. They want to be able for affiliates to change some of the hardcoded images so as to use their own coloured ones.Is it possible with Jquery to change the image path on all of the images. So for example from:[code]Unfortuntly due to the nature and size of the company I cant use htaccess or do any real code changes hence i thought a JQuery would do it
I sourced the codes and made some changes, but I need to know a better way to add multi-tooltips on the phone image when its selected by mouse move event. I need an example of the codes that will work on 360.On the site you can look at the source-codes to see where Im going.
What I'd like to do is change the path to images with the class .changsrc. Eventually I'll attach this to a link, but for now I only need it to happen on page load. I managed to change the entire image src using attr() but that doesn't work for multiple images with one class name. (maybe I'm missing something there)So... how can I change
img src="images/imagename.jpg" to: img src="images/alt/imagename.jpg"
I tried to add path to images but nothing i do seems to work. I dont know if im adding wrong code or not removing brackets or whatever but i cant get it to work. Please show me how the code should look so that i can get a better understanding of what m doing wrong. An example code of sorts. Thx.
I found an jQuery/javascript slideshow which I try to duplicate. You can find the one I'm talking about here. I downloaded the files needed jQuery, slideme and script but I can't get it to work. In other words the pictures simply don't show. The funny thing is though that when you look in the slideme library they refer to the pictures.I have tried everything but the pictures simply don't show. Does anybody have any experience with this kind of slideshow an see what i'm doing wrong?
I'm pretty new to Javascript and I'm trying to build a form which gives a configuration for a product. It consists of 5 drop down menus and each value in the drop down needs to have an image, a price, and a rule attached to it. The image sits above the drop down and changes with the selection, the price adds to the option prices selected in the other drop downs and give a total, and the rule affects what options are available in subsequent drop downs. I've got all of these working separately but can't get a single value to have all 3 functions.
I'm currently at http://www.domain.com/the-path.jsp, and I would like to be able, with JavaScript--and possibly the click of a button, which I will most likely attach to IE's toolbar--transport to http://domain.dev.domain.com/the-path.jsp.
Here's the environment: My browser is set to the page http://www.domain.com/the-path.jsp and I plan to add a button to IE's toolbar via the registry that I would like to execute the JavaScript, which contain the code to perform the aforementioned procedure.
My JavaScript knowledge is, as I'm sure you've already surmised, limited.
Here's what I know (or what I think I know)
The .js file header: oShell= new ActiveXObject("WScript.Shell");
the object: window.location.replace [or href].
I have a feeling a "and if" statement is needed here. Am I correct?
BTW: As far as the registry button addition is concerned, I'm set on how to do that.
I want to secure my data, I have link to pdf file when click it give all path to pdf like this http://192.167.1.13/data/0000/000/00...00-000-000.pdf I want to change it to be like this http://192.167.1.13/xxxxxx or any other I want to change it start from /data.
I run an educational website with a CSS/JavaScript based menu that is right now only single level. I am trying to convert it over to multi level. I have tried a few other multi level menus but I have done a lot of customization in terms of appearance for this current menu, so none of the new ones looked right.
Here is the site: [url] Here is the CSS: [url] Here is the JavaScript: [url]
how to change images based on action. Even clicking changed images should do respective actions. and while displaying only one image at a time sholud get displayed. I am using three images for a single column of a table in Jsp. Code:
I need to refresh multiple images on my site. So every time the page gets refreshed the images need to change. It worked fine with the script below, but this is only related to 1 image
I tried to copy the script and change the "ID's" but this does not do the job.
I'm a real newbie with Javascript, but I'm having fun. I just bought the book, "Simply Javascript" (have only just cracked it so far). I'm reasonably familiar with PHP (I use a lot of it to do simple things). I'm a Web desinger and do custom CSS Websites (I'm fairly new to that too couple of years or more working with CSS and I've never done a table based layout.
[Code]...
But when the button is clicked, nothing will call the showCaption() function again, and I can't figure out how to call that function as the images advance. I have tried a lot of things with a lot of weird results, one being the tne next caption will display in a blank browser window, without the Webpage! I'm not sure why that happens, but I have a clue.
Is there an easier way to do what I want to do? I only want to show a few lines of text that will describe each image. Seems simple enough to me, but I'm just too new to make it work.
I'm using a script to include images into a slide show using direct URLs to the image files, but I am using fckeditor (PHP) for my users to edit their content. The script in the .js file that pulls the images into the slide show. The user's image file is going to be named something like, "userImage01.php". Inside that file would be their image location path ~ "images/user/image1.jpg".Therefore, I need the above javascript to pull-in "userImage01.php" INSTEAD OF the image's location path.
I have 4 images and these images are changing automatically with duration of 2 seconds with show hide animation.and there are 4 bullets with mentioned above 4 images. these bullets are highlighting for example if image number 1 is showing than bullet number 1 is highlighting. same thing for other 3 bullets and images.
Malsup's cycle plugin - can the image set being cycled through be changed on-the-fly? e.g. a user clicks on a thumbnail A and cycle shows A's images, clicks on thumbnail B and see B's images etc.
I have been trying for ages to find a way of making a series of images within one div resize according to the size of the users window or their screen resolution.
how i can do this? i know jquery uses the .resize function and am hoping i could give the div with images inside a function to change size according to the window size.

Im going to make a javascript for changing alot of images. But im not sure how to do it., where to start..
Ok, first.. this is the isue.
I have 3 images(I call them 1a-3a). when u click on image 1a u change" image x" to image 1a when u click on image 2a u change" image x" to image 2a when u click on image 3a u change" image x" to image 3a
So far Im in the game. But..
Then I have 8 other images(I call them 1b-8b). So if u click on image 1a u change "image x" to 1a. Then if I click on image 1b I want image 1a(the changed "imagex") to change.
(click on 1a-3a and change "image x"--> click on image 1b-8b --> change the images 1a-3a) Messy? I know.
This makes the possibilty og 27 different images(hm.. i think
Do anyone know how to do this or hav anyone done something like this? "Imagex" is a Box and the 1a-3a changes pattern. The other 1b-8b changes color. SO it should be possible to first change pattern, then change color on the pattern u choosed before.
I'm trying to do this. I have 6 images let's called it:
Then HomeButtonOff and ClassButtonOff is set as clickable images with the a href tags, and there's a image by the side which is TitleHome
As someone click on HomeButtonOff, HomeButtonOff would be switched to HomeButtonOn and ClassButtonOff will be switch to ClassButtonOff and the title TitleHome would be switched TitleHome
Its something like when you click on a menu, it will change the selected menu to a highlighted form and change the title of the page.
I tried with my code below but doesn't seem to work.
I'm having an issue using .get and a callback. Basically, unlessI use a fully quantified path when I deploy my site the call doesn't work. When I'm developing on localhost, the site works fine. It's an ASP.NET MVC site. I'm fairly new to jQuery. If I replace the code with an absolute path, all seems fine. Obviously I'd rather use relative paths. I'd be grateful for any insight you could offer.
