JQuery :: Auto-align And Distribute Many Small Images?

How to auto-align and distribute many small images inside a div ?
I want something like that :

I want that jQuery distribute all this item for the left border to the right border of the div.
I wonder if any plugins is doing this ? I did a search in Google and I do not find something near the result that I want.

I´ve just launch my website-portfolio, well it´s not yet the final version but it is almost and despite I am satisfied with the final result I´ve detected a really strange bug that only happens sometimes. The thing is when the first introduction Slide appears (the one with the hand-made drawings), sometimes the images shrink from the normal size to small tiny images. This doesn´t happen always and if you refresh the page it disappears.

I was implementing this http:[url]....here: http:[url]....it works ok (you can see it clicking "siguiente" & "anterior" at the left side menu/descriptions)but... I need the images (that have variable widths) aligned to right,not left...I have tried using some css variants and nothing works... float, text-align, right:0...then looking at the jquery.cycle.all.js file I saw a lot of "left"strings... maybe I need to change some of them, to make it align to right?maybe there is an option in jquery to change them to
right?

I am working on a small gadget which downloads a series of images from the web and displays the images in a loop. However i am having trouble saving the xmlhttprequest to a file to use later in an array. I have read that it should be easy to save the .png using Scripting.filesystemobject but have been unable to find any information on how to do it.

I found this perfect javascript for creating dynamic connected drop down boxes. This script works fine but there is just one thing I want to add but unfortunately I'm not familiar with javascript enough... I want to display small images when an item is selected from the second drop down. An image should be assigned somehow to each selection from the right hand drop down menu in the code and when someone selects something from the list, an image should be displayed next to it automatically.

I've new to the dream.in.code community and I've heard you guys are the best to offer advice, so here we go. Right now, I'm working on a assignment where I'm trying to randomly distribute a word string into a 16/16 table. The idea is that it would display the words from the string in reversed order(i.e. the words can only be displayed in four directions in reverse: diagonally up, diagonally down, down-to-up and right-to-left, so something is "FOUR" becoming "ROUF" is allowed). So far, I've created the table and have used the string.split method to make my string to an array, but I'm difficulty figuring out how to get the reversed order and random distribution part down. I've also attached the instructions sheet for further clarification of my task.

What I am trying to do is create a slider that auto scrolls 3-4 images from right to left with no controls. And if the user hovers over it, it stops so they can read the content that is featured. Everywhere I search there are bunch of plugins i.e. easyslider, s3slider, etc. that have tons of code that is greek to me. I tried using the easyslider code and changing things around for it to do what I want, but I was unsuccessful.

I am appending an image via Javascript but IE6 will NOT consistently resize the image to its natural width and height. The exact dimensions of the image vary but are always 100x100 or less.ave tried using CSS like {width:auto;height:auto;} but this is not reliable. I append "?" + now.getMilliseconds() to the image SRC to prevent the browser caching it (because the image can change but the filename doesn't). If I omit this query string, then IE6 seems to resize the images correctly.I also have to float the image and I've noticed that removing the float fixes the problem. I tried to use display:inline instead of float but it didn't work.

I've looked up various scripts for scrolling the pictures I have on the right vertically, but I can't seem to implement any of the ones I've found. I'm not trying to ask for you to code it all for me (unless you really want to)

This is my first venture in this forum and also my first attempt at some programming for a fair few years and I have run into a problem i cannot for the life of me see the answer to. I am fairly sure I am just missing something stupidly obvious, but like I said its been a few years since I did any programming so I'm a bit behind with my knowledge!
What I am trying to do is using a combination of HTML & Javascript (well actually JQuery), is to automatically update a cell in a table without the user doing anything. The changes to the content are based on changes to a database by other users. I am making a PHP-MySQL site which has an image gallery page that generates thumbnail-sized versions of images (the paths are all in the DB) using the width= tag. I have it so that when you click on the thumbnail, a fixed-size window pops up with the actual-sized version of the image. The new window just displays the image itself with .jpg in the address bar, and not an HTML or PHP file that contains the image tags and path in it. Is there any way I can have the new window automatically adjust to the size of the image, or is it strictly a one-size-fits-all dealy?

I'm using AJAX to auto-refresh a chatroom. You can see it on the right of the following site: http:[url]...
The problem is, when large images are placed in the chatroom via BBCode, (temporarily disabled) when the chatroom refreshes, they flicker! This is caused by the AJAX reloading the content, which in turn reloads the image.Is there a workaround for this? I want to allow images in the chatroom, but I don't want to turn off the auto-refresh. Below is the code I am running to refresh the chatroom:

I've just started using jquery and it's going pretty well so far, I'm just having a few issues that hopefully someone here knows how to fix.
The main one being that my collapsor plugin only seems to work if you put a <ul> tag before what you're trying to make the collapsing heading, that's fine but I want to fully left align my headings to go with my nav.

I really want the MAGAZINES, ADVERTISING and BOOKS headings to be fully left aligned (I don't mind if their subheadings are still in <ul> format though… But would be ideal if the subheadings appeared on the line right after the heading, not sure why there is a gap…
One more small issue is my link rollovers don't seem to work with the headings either, the underline/underline colour works fine but the text colour doesn't (it's supposed to be like when you roll over BACKGROUND or CONTACT.

Using the very basic jqModal example, isn't it supposed to auto size and auto center the modal on the page? I placed a table that was wider than the modal's default settings and it's off the page and does not create scroll bars on the page to see the hidden section of the modal.

I am using the lava lamp plugin on my navigation page and I am having trouble fixing an issue I have got. I have it working perfectly, it sits right within he height of the nav and when I rollover it works. The only problem I have is when I rollover the lavalamp line does not align with the navigation text. I am currently getting a music blog started and have been given the opportunity to place an ad on my site. They company has given me the code for the Javascript ad, but when I put it in (at the top of my page) on my HTML/CSS sheet, it automatically aligns to the right. I really want it to align in the center. How do I get it to do this? I have tried typical align="center" methods but it looks like the Javascript requires a different type of coding and I am not familiar with it.
