I have this form that validates a few textboxes & a dropdownlist. And when it is not filled in, the border of the textboxes and dropdownlist would turn red, followed by an alert message notifying which field have not been filled in.Else, the border will revert back to black, and the form will be submitted successfully. Right now, I would like to prevent the user from entering blanks (like entering a space to cheat the system). How should I tweak the codes to make it work?

I have an ASP.net page where I load a record set server side and upload it into a listbox. I'm trying to do all the movement functionalities of the listbox items client side. Specifically, I'm trying to figure out how to copy selected listbox items from one listbox to another -- on button click. I've searched for a while, but every example that I found moves the actual item into another listbox, I just want to copy the selected item to another listbox.

In my grid each row has a twin row (not consecutive) the rows each have 1 text box with a name containing txtAmt. When a user enters a value in the text box in a row. I have two drop-down listboxes on a page. One listbox is visible and named sParent the other is suppose to be hidden and is named sChild. There are only 2 option values in the sParent listbox and they are vParent and vChild. If the user chooses the vChild option from the sParent listbox, than the second listbox named sChild is suppose to become visible, but if the users chooses any other option value or no option value at all from the sParent listbox the sChild listbox is to remain hidden. I am doing a lottery project in which i have 10 textbox and i want to add contents of each textbox and show result in another textbox say 11th textbox.
I am having the fallowing codes below on jsp page.
I want to add contents of textbox from(n50,n51.....n59) and show result in another textbox named (n60)
My question is that the valus stored in textbox is numeric and when i enter the value in any two of the textbox say named (n50 and n51) then the addition of its value must be seen in the result textbox say (n60) here. it does not wait for another textbox value which is left blank. the result of addition should be displayed simelteneously as i enter the value in text box.

I am trying to populate a listbox using Javascript. The listbox is populated using the xml response from ajax request. But i am facing performance issue here. some ajax requests retrieves xmls with around 11,000 nodes and this takes too much of time to populate the listbox.
