I`m using superfish menu. Could you please help me out with it? I need to display also the third level on horizontal, not vertical as it is now. I used the instruction on superfish page so the second level uses now sf-navbar and now it is displayed horizontally. how to display the third level (tier) horizontally?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm in trouble implementing superfish in a website project. My problem is: I have a category based menu item that has two sub-levels set to display horizontally. I hover the first menu item and the first sub- level shows. Then I click the first sub-level and both it and its parent-item get highlighted and stay visible.Then I do the same to the sub-level below these but it doesn't work. This second sub-level gets the right class ('current') but the first level loses its 'current-cat-parent sfHover sf-breadcrumb' classes causing all levels to disappear.
View 3 Replies View RelatedI have inherited a site with superfish used as the menu which seems to work fine except that I wish to disable the links at the top level so that a click on the top level of the menu goes nowhere only clicks on the sub menu list. At the moment each top level menu item is a section and the sub menu list categories. There is nothing I need or want to place in the Section heading so a link from this is unnecessary but at the moment clicking on the top level (section) leads to a page i do not want.Example:-Top Level Section (no link to anywhere)2nd level Category 1 (link to article)3rd level Category 2 (link to article)etc.
Is this possible to do. I feel sure it should be as it is a normal facility on a drop down menu but I cannot find anywhere in the options which enables this. I am not sufficiently conversant with CSS to try playing with the current layout which other than this seems to be working ok.
I have implemented Superfish in SAP Portal. there is a small issue when I take a print using the browser's print option. When I try printing the Web Page from the browser, the Top Level Navigation Menu appears as a list of links (vertical). This is happening in both IE as well as Firefox.
I have seen the same issue in the website from where I downloaded Superfish :-|

I just discovered that Internet Explorer is not showing the 3rd level of the menu. [URL](very much a work in progress) I believe it's a js issue and not a css one. I've removed all js/ jquery except the menu stuff and the problem still exists. I'm not sure what to do now. I know it should work because the examples on the superfish site do. Also, I just pulled up my test page that I made before integrating the CMS and they don't work there either. Maybe there will be some clue

Love this menu. This menu will be appearing in module on right hand side of page. So I need the submenu to display on left, not right. So how to make this a right to left menu? I've played around a bit and have had no luck yet. I've used the navbar on another site and I'd really like to use this vertical menu too.

It uses a dt for the title, and a ul within the dd for the menu items. The dd opens to the right of the dt.
The problem is that the second level menu (a dl within an li within another dl) [URL] - flyout4 & subflyout5.
The z-index is increased each time. I just can't figure why the area is limited.

I thought I was so cool combining both this shopping cart with the double drop down menu, but now my menu isnt working and I can't seem to trouble shoot my way through it anymore. I am sure I am missing just one small part because the page loads fine, but when I select an option from step three where it says "select a subject" it no longer loads the options into the subsequent drop down menu which reads "Pages appear here" (at least I WISH they would appear there)

I was basically trying to follow several tutorials to get a superfish menu working on my website, but I don't seem to be able to get it to work.I included both the superfish.css and the superfish.js in my website's header; both paths are corrent and point to the designated file.I then included the superfish function in my header like this:

The buttons in my dialogs are vertical. Do you know how to set it so that it is horizontally placed.

I'm trying to get some thumbnail images that are displayed with ClueTip to be centered vertically & horizontally. The images are various sizes, though none is larger than 150px on a side, so I set ClueTip to have a width & height of 200px. The images are wrapped in a div so that I can have them display: none by default, yet assign display: block to the images themselves.

The images are always aligned left & top. Eventually, I figured out that it was div#cluetip-inner that was the culprit. While the outer div has a height and width, the inner div has display:inline-block and so was shrinking down to the img size, essentially. I then added:

Cycle plugin displays horizontally my vertical photos (photos taken with my camera in portrait position).The same photos are displayed vertically (the right way) by other imaging applications (e.g. Photoshop and Finder or Preview in OSX).The same photos are displayed horizontally (the wrong way) by Safari and Firefox (IE not tested). What I want is for the logo box & navigation box to scroll along with the page, fixed horizontally. But when the user scrolls vertically through content, such as the stuff on the home div, I don't want the logo & nav to scroll.

I'm working on a blog design. (See code below.) I'd like to fix #title vertically so that when people scroll down the blog, it stays in view in the window. I couldn't think of a CSS way to do it. Using position:fixed doesn't work because if someone is viewing the site from a netbook, or simply from a downsized browser on their normal computer, #title is either cut off -- if it's positioned relative to the left -- or it overlaps the blog content -- if it's positioned relative to the right.
I've read suggestions to use Javascript but my Javascript skills are practically non-existent. The suggestions were to use an onscroll handler, and to use scrollTop. This is what I wrote but (probably for obvious reasons) it isn't working:

View 6 Replies View RelatedI've tried a number of the HTML/CSS techniques to get my table to scroll horizontally but none of them work. The table has been wrapped with a DIV and the CSS has included the OVERFLOW code but all to no avail. The code is basically like this:

I've tried using SCROLL instead of AUTO to no avail. When I change the browser to ZOOM to ~150%, which some users will do, the table just wraps, no horizontal scroll bar. Interestingly, the scroll bars appear (grayed out and unselectable) but the <TD><INPUT... elements just continue to wrap.
I don't really know javascript and normally just download scripts off the internet, but i can't find anything for what i want to do.
I have a side menu (ul) and i want this to slide to the other side of the screen (from right sidebar to left sidebar) onclick of a certain menu item.
How can i do this so that it will slide across and then load the page?
