I'm having a little trouble with 2 differentJS scripts. I have a drop down slide menu and a parralex slide gallery. Both work on separate pages and puton the same page they still work however the submenu of the slide down menu does not. if I remove the style sheet that belongs to the gallery
Then the munu works, however (obviously) the page layout goes wrong. if i remove<h1 class="title">Alex Holland Perspective</h1> the menu works however page layout goes wrong andI loose my header
Im a starting graphic designer, 21 yrs of age and just rolling into this webdesign industry. Ive come a long way, do have some knowledge.. but when it comes to complicated things like JS I often visit knowledgeable forums like these.
I hope I can contribute into making this community richer.
Now, Ive implemented this slide out menu succesfully before, only now it seems that ive mistaken somewhere. The menu just pops out instead of sliding out like it should.
Code: <script type="text/javascript"> $(document).ready(function(){ var docked = 0; $("#dock li ul").height($(window).height());
[Code]....
And if you want to see a working example of how it should be look here.
I am currently working on a small slide with jQuery that has just 2 states, when I click on next it goes to the right and when on the right I click on previous is goes to the left, so far so good.
But now I want to add an extra functionality that tells it to slide whenever a link on the main state is clicked. It basically works like this:
Now when I click on test1 or test2 it should slide just like it would when I click the nextbutton. Only I have no clue how to tell jQuery to execute this action so I hope someone is willing to help me out with this.
It's basically a vertical list of links, with more specific links hidden inside categories. When you click a category, the specific links should slide down. This is the JS/jQuery part:
Code:
<script type="text/javascript"> function slidey() { $("#vnav ul li ul").slideDown("slow");
[code]....
so the problem here is that when you click a category, it expands ALL sub-categories and it's supposed to just expand the sub-categories related to the section clicked.
Its cool but would like to have image rollovers instead of the text shown in the example.
I can't figure out how to do it without screwing up the slide bar on the bottom. And the css file won't let me specify which link like... a.home li {etc etc etc....I would really like to be able to have a separate rollover image for each link and have the slide bar work still.
If anyone can help me find a free resource for creating a verticle slide tree menu system that allows the use of images for the navigation I would really appreciate it. I have found many scripts that allow background images but NONE that have rollover images for the links. Code:
I am looking to use JQuery which I am really new to and get my navigation submenus to slideDown when the parent is rolled Over. I have multiple parents and children or sub menus and want them to activate individually but without repeating the JQuery over and over again for each.Obviously the goal is to also slideUp on the mouseOut event.Here is the code that I have so far:
I wanna create a functionality where on clicking a (minus) button a div show slide up and and the image should change to (plus). Again on clicking the plus button. the content div should slide back out
Does anyone know if there are useful scripts in jQuery that allows me to create a page slide effect like this website?I think the logic behind it is that it loads every single web page of the entire website first, pans them out horizontally, then shifts the page left or right X amount of pixels depending on which link is clicked. I'm pretty new to javascript so I'm not sure where to look, and I don't understand half the code by looking at the source code either
im looking for a (jquery plugin based) menu, which does not drop down like common <ul>-<li>-menus, but get pulled up like the windows startmenu (starts from bottom, slides up).i want to fix this multi-level menu bar to the bottom of the "viewport" (position: fixed;)i googled for hours but did not found a implementation nowhere...
I'm using Mootools 1.2.0 and I'm trying to create a mouseover slide menu. That means that there will be a slideIn effect on menu-item's mouseover event. I have created a menu and I have achieved the sliding effect. The problem is that when I mouseover quickly on menu items, the slide in effect of each item doesn't have enough time to complete. In the end, there are more than one slides opening at once, instead of one. Is there someway to force my script to end all slidein or slideout effects before starting a new one?
I was wondering if jQuery or mootools has a set of scripts that creates a page slide effect with a stationary menu? What I mean is instead of loading a page when you click a link, all pages of the website are loaded at first, and then when a link is clicked, the corresponding page slides onto the screen. The navigation menu remains unchanged (except for dropdown menus) throughout everything. This is a perfect example of what I'm looking for: [URL] I tried to search for this but didn't come up with too many great results, and I searched the jQuery documentation and wasn't able to find a slider feature.
Second Question: For some reason, the menu is appearing behind a table row when it expands, thus hiding a good portion of the menu. Here it is: [URL]
Try clicking on 'Products & Services', and then clicking on "Centerfire Rifle Suppressors" from the dropdown menu. When it takes you to that category page, click the menu again and you will see that the menu hides behind the <h1> table row.
I have 4 images and these images are changing automatically with duration of 2 seconds with show hide animation.and there are 4 bullets with mentioned above 4 images. these bullets are highlighting for example if image number 1 is showing than bullet number 1 is highlighting. same thing for other 3 bullets and images.
I want a menu at the top of the page. When I press a button in the menu the content of the page slides up, the content changes and it slides down. I've done this so far, but how can I do a more dynamic solution without having different divs for each menu item?
How can I get rid of the slide effect on a basic horizontal menu? I love the way the "basic" example works but I can't mimic it without having the text all slide to right and re-sizing the box.
I have a drop down jquery menu with links and a image slide show with links. When I mouse over on the drop down menu, the drop down menu links go behind the image slide show [URL]
I've got this client that would like the menu to slide out from the left nav bar, horizontally. So far I've put together a jQuery toggle you can see working here:Slide out Menu.What I need is to fade out/slide back when another menu link is clicked. Right now they are overlapping and there are more menu items to come.
I have a basic dropdown css menu system. When a menu item is selected (ex: foo.html), the cluetip link opens a 450px wide window as expectedThen,I selectanother menu item (ex: bar.html). But when I return to link foo.html: and click the same clueTip link the clueTip link now opens in it's own window instead of the 450px clueTip window as beore would expect the small clueTip window to open and show the clueTip on each successive click as it does the first time. If I do a browser reload, the first menu selection works as it should, but only on the first click.If the menu is not used, the single file opens the clueTip correctly. Does clueTip get confused in a menu program?
// the cluetip code: $(document).ready(function() { $('#clickme').cluetip({
I have a problem with two click functions, the problem is the slideDown delay, if I do click on 'titolMenuBLink' after 'titolMenuALink' the two contents appear on the web...How I can disable 'titolMenuBLink' until the complete action $('#contingutMenuA').slideDown (1500); is done?
allows the chart to slide on (click on Report a Link , right next to the search box): [URL] I need to imporove the way this functions on my site. Here is how the report a link functions on my site:
I am currently building a site which requires the header to slide between pages, onclicking the menu items, for example your on homepage and you click the next or any menu item, when the page loads the header image slides from the home image to the next page image, and vice-versa when you click back it does the opposite. I have tried to code it myself below, i have the slide working. But my problem comes in when i try and switch pages, i've tried adding the javascript fade function in this page to body onload of seperate pages but i cannot seem to get the effect i want.
