Which means, once after a link namely as "bank" is clicked,then it will extract the bank.html contentinto the middle div. And I already put a button ID named as "butang" over that bank.html. But why after the content is nicely rendered, I can't obtain the alert?
Hmmm... even when I clicking, clicking, and clicking many times at the button named as "butang", can not also give me an alert. How could I apply a jquery into a new html rendered as it firstly it's not there?

Sep 9, 2010Im trying to get 2 elements to execute some effect individually at the same time on a hover.Ive looked at .animate but if I understand it correctly I can do multiple effects but still limited to that single element.[code]So basically Im just trying to get 1st & 2nd on hovers to happen at the same time and 1st and 2nd off hovers to happen at the same time.

Dec 18, 2010The general outline is that I have part of a page that deals with the addition, editing and deletion of upcoming events. Data is stored in a MySQL table. The form design (in traditional terms) would be very simple requiring three fields, one for the Event Name, one for the Event Description and one (hidden) to identify the UniqueID of the event in the MySQL table. (As the reference to make edits.) The table therefore has 3 fields. (There are more such as Timestamp, clientID etc, but they are not important here.)
I envisage three functions, one to add, one to edit and one to delete the event listed on the page. I have 3 php files eventadd.php, eventedit.php and eventdelete.php which speak for themselves.However, this is where I have the problem. What I have been doing is returning the xmlhttpresponse as a formatted HTML page for the two 'form' elements because whilst I can return unformatted text containing the relevant fields in one response, I don't know how to break that down into two sections for the innerHTML of the two 'form' elements that change.
Returning a formatted page does work, but as well as being slower than neccessary, I am also running into character-set encoding issues and I just know that I am not doing this properly. I can supply code and things, but I have a feeling that this problem will have come up somewhere and probably has a recognized solution because to me it seems to be such an obvious requirement to be able to populate several form elements with fields from one recordset.

Multiple Function Calls From A Single Js File

question: when i quickly move the mouse from one image to the other shouldn't i see one expand and one shrink simultaneously? i am currently seeing one shrink, then the other expand after. on occasion the shrink is skipped and the next image is expanded right away.

AJAX-problem : Layout Isn't Applied On New Elements
Dec 1, 2006I want to create a virtual filesystem. When you open page you see a
number of 'folders' represented by a name and an icon. When you click
on the icon an xmlhttprequest is send retrieving the subfolders and
files. When you click on thus created representation of a subfolder a
new xmlhttprequest is send to the server to retrieve the subfolders and
files for that subfolder.
On the serverside I create a domdocument (php) which contains html-tags
(div, h2, span, img, ...) and send it as xml to the client javascript.
I get the information (the html tags and attributes like src, id, href,
.... are ok) and take the root element and put in in the specified place
on my html-page. Only the titles of the subfolders (h2-tag) are shown
as text and they stick together instead of showing up in bold and
sperated like a good h2 should do. (I don't retrieve the files yet).
The layout isn't used, no images are shown, h2 is shown as plain text,
.... When I view the generated source with webdeveloper toolbar in
firefox everything looks fine, when I save generated source as html and
open it in browser the correct layout is applied.

Jun 6, 2011I m having trouble restricting an action to a single image. I am trying to make the background fade to full opacity on hover, and have that working like I want to. The problem is that when I hover one image, ALL the images fade to full opacity. Obviously it would be nice to only have the one that is being hovered over. I am sure it is just a simple thing in the code but I just can't figure out what it is.

Function Doesn't Respond - Couple Of Forms - Certain Conditions Are Applied
Jun 8, 2011In my website I have a couple of forms that you can only see them if certain conditions are applied.
For example - if you're an admin and you search a user, you'll see a form which allows you to edit his information. if you're not you won't see it. if you're already logged in you can't see the registration form, but if you aren't you can.
So I did it with ASP in this way - (this is the registration part)
I've managed to put in the form inside the Response.Write(), and it also has the javascript part like this -
This works perfectly fine.
Now, I've done this twice. the example above is from the registration part which doesn't allow a logged in user to register again.
I'm having problems with the second one - not showing the edit form to a user who can't edit.
This is basically the code -
Now this doesn't do anything... the submit button just ignores the JS file and just submits the form the way it is, unlike the other form which is written pretty much in the same way except for other JS fields/text boxes.
I know the code is written really poorly but thats unfortunately what we've been taught in class and thats all I know.
- I'm not checking for nulls because if a field is empty it means the information won't be edited.

I want opacity to go from 0 to 1 in 2 seconds, and dimensions to grow in 10 seconds. Both animations should start at the same time.
I'm calling animate twice, but the second animation waits for the first one to complete.
Is there a way to get around this without having to code my own animate function?

Then when a link is clicked, a lightbox window opens and plays another video. I am trying to get the video on the main page to hide while the lightbox video is playing. Then when a user closes the lightbox window, the div with the main video on the page is shown and starts playing again.So far I can get this to work with one link. But I cannot get the main video div to hide when a second link is clicked.

The reason I need to do this is because my pages are created with ASP.NET whose architecture generally calls for a single page-wide <form> tag. In my designs, I'd like to submit my data using a custom ajax call to a web-method, and link it to a click event on a button.

I'm not sure that I fully understand the documentation for the Validation plugin, but it doesn't seem like this is possible, as the plugin seems to need a <form> for each form.

If you select the first radio, the end of the form change to display the "branche #1", and if you select the second radio button, the end of the form change to display the "branche #2".

1) The first one for the common field.
2) The second one, if buyer is selected.
3) The third one, if seller is selected.
