The class of a column in the table is assigned the class - trclick. I need to get the value of $fnum when the $rev field is clicked. How can I get the value of $fnum when $rev is clicked?
Code like the below creates almost always more than one and sometimes as many as ELEVEN dialog boxes. This frustrating behavior doesn't seem to be affected at all by whether you choose "OK" or "Cancel".Is this a known issue and if so, is there a workaround?
I am code a printing report web application, the report is simplest display on HTML form and using window.print() to print it out.
The report can be vary to 2 or more page depend the no. of record retrieved. I have a idea to print multiple page with user single click. Any method to make it real?
I know how to do a select/deselect all function. Where I'm having issues is with a select some function. I am querying a database to come up with a list of companies. I then query the database to come up with individual names/email addresses associated with each company. (Individuals can appear under under multiple companies, and I need this to continue.) The checkbox name must remain the same from individual to individual.
What I want to happen: When I click on a name that appears multiple times, I want all related checkboxes to then be checked; also, if I uncheck one, all should then uncheck. What I've been trying: Each record for John Doe has the same id name (not a must, but I thought this would make it easier. Though I don't think it is necessary, I am including a snippet below:
Again, if I select/deselect someone from any Company, I want all of their related check boxes to follow suit. If there is a better use of id records, I'm all for it.
Is there a trigger in JQuery that occurs when the user either:1 - clicks the left mouse button and moves the mouse upOR2 - clicks the left mouse button and moves the mouse down?mouseup() and mousedown() are only for clicking the button. I need a trigger that includes both the left mouse click and movement of the mouse up or down occurring simutaneously
I have developed one project and in that i have taken two css now i want to add jquery effects in that, But my display is not properely adjusted and extra enlargement is done so how i can add jquery in my php project without affecting another effect? I have the following code, however, I need to click twice on Change password for the dialog to open. I want the dialog to open when on a single click. I can`t understand why the dialog doesn`t open on a single click.
I am in the process of developing a website. I would like to use some images. The image should zoom on mouse over and mouse click i.e the image should zoom to h:100*W:100 on mouse over and on mouse click it should be zoomed to h:1000*w:1000. Also I would like to change the mouse over image and mouse click image before zooming.
I'm poking at a small "single page application" (SPA), ala TiddlyWiki, to act as kind of a local, single-user version of Twitter (no real application, except to familiarize myself with JavaScript). Right now I'm using a hidden field to hold JSON, which is currently my flat-file database of posts.
Is there a better way to store JSON data in a SPA other than hidden fields? I'm Googling now to allay or confirm my concerns, but I'm worried that there may be some upper limit to how much data you can cram in the value of one.
I'm using JSON mostly because (a) I really prefer it to XML in JavaScript applications, (b) it seems (key word, "seems") smart to separate my post data from posts (so I can show n-number of posts at a time), and (c) I really dislike parsing XML in JavaScript when JSON seems like a viable alternative. (Though, given my size/space if JSON isn't going to work, I'm not averse to using XML.)
My site's working perfectly in the other browsers, and when I delete line 28 (see below) it works in IE but not exactly how I want. Is there a way to retain two jquery references on a single page in IE?
When the.slide-button-one(top 'Profile', 'Clients' or 'Contact' links) is clicked,#main-content-portfolio (white-background div) slides down and the display is set to none. This reveals#main-content-info (grey-background div).
Currently however, the display value of #main-content-portfolio is set to none BEFORE the slide. How can I switch this order of events?
scrolling multiple DIVs using a single controller. This is what I need done. I have 4 DIVs, ie. A, B, C & D. View the attached sample screenshot or click here to view it on the internet. I need both horizontal and vertical scrollbars that will move selected DIVs when scrolled.
Horizontal = DIVs A, C and D Vertical = DIVs B and C
I am getting to know jquery a little, and I am trying hide and show a div when a link is clicked.I have a page setup that has a flash video in a div on the main page. Then when a link is clicked, a lightbox window opens and plays another video. I am trying to get the video on the main page to hide while the lightbox video is playing. Then when a user closes the lightbox window, the div with the main video on the page is shown and starts playing again. So far I can get this to work with one link. But I cannot get the main video div to hide when a second link is clicked.
I am working on single form divided into multiple pages using <div id="">. I am using next and previous buttons <input type="button"> to navigate between these pages but I am unable to validate each page before moving to next page using next button.
I am displaying next page form by using "element.style.display = 'none' & element.style.display = 'block' " method.
How to with validation on the current page before moving to next page.
It doesn't appear to be possible to validate multiple forms on a pages that only has a single <form> tag, using the JQuery Validation Plugin offered by Jörn Zaefferer. The reason I need to do this is because my pages are created with ASP.NET whose architecture generally calls for a single page-wide <form> tag. In my designs, I'd like to submit my data using a custom ajax call to a web-method, and link it to a click event on a button.
Below is an example: <! DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTDXHTML1.0Transitional//EN" "[URL]" > < html xmlns = "[URL]" > .....
I'm not sure that I fully understand the documentation for the Validation plugin, but it doesn't seem like this is possible, as the plugin seems to need a <form> for each form.
I've many dynamic form on my current project. One if them have a two radio button, acting a little bit like tabs. If you select the first radio, the end of the form change to display the "branche #1", and if you select the second radio button, the end of the form change to display the "branche #2".
Let recap with dummy code:
And now I will have to make 3 validations:
1) The first one for the common field.
2) The second one, if buyer is selected.
3) The third one, if seller is selected.
So the code should look like:
But is seem that only my common fields get validated. How should I handle that situation ?
I'm new to jquery as you will soon find out. I have a number of divs with the same class applied to them and I want to be able to animate them separately as each one is clicked - right now clicking on one, affects the entire family of like-tagged. I think I might be going about this the wrong way or missing something.
I have a grid that uses RowAltRow as the classes for the rows...is there a way to have the hover applied to both instead of having to define it twice (or more)?
