I'm making a website for my computer repair company. On the services page I'm trying to create a layout where at the top of my page it lists all of my services, and just below them is a table with a few tabs on it (what the service includes/FAQ/Price). If you click on a service at the top of the page, the contents in the table will change accordingly to display the details of that service. I'm not really familiar with JS...can anyone help me with this? I'd really like to get this feature working as it would make the navigation of my services tremendously easier.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI am working on an interest and investment calculator for a class project. On my list of drop down options, one of the options isnt an integer value like the rest. It's value is "other", while the other three are 1000, 5000, 1000, and 25000. What I would like to do is when the user chooses the "other amount" option from the drop down list, a prompt window will come up asking the user for an investment amount. I am having problems creating a function in my javascript file for this, and then taking the value entered and assigning a variable in another function with that new value so that it calculates with the users input. Please help. The first part of the attachment is the label with the "other" value I explained. And the second piece of code is my mess of a function that I tried to create for the prompt window to come up and store the users value and then change the value of the option.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a list of products where they have minimum quantities in a hidden input. Some products have multiple colours, though the same minimum quantity and I'm trying to implement a jQuery check that entries made are at least equal to the minimum.
Blank or '0' entries are fine but if it's below the minimum quantity it should set to the minimum.

All is working well until the page ids hit double digits. Subsequently a menu with the link "p=10" and above will highlight when "p=1" in the location bar. How should Iamend the code to prevent this partial match? The menu item links always end after "p="; there are no furtherkeys in the querystring toact as a delimiter.

I have content that loads into a div and in every browser except IE it renders fine. In the wonderful IE it comes in jagged...sometimes it "snaps" after and looks normal but for the most part its all jagged. The page is a white bg with text rendering into of it. how to use jQuery I created my own AutoComplete Textbox (although there is one in the jQueryUI Lib). The users types something in a textbox and after 3 characters, the getJSON method is beeing called. This processes the data by calling another site and after received the data, it displays the result in a div tag.If a user types something, it automatically searchs - my problem is the delay. Because if a user continuous, he will already receive (delayed) results - so far it works as designed. My question is, how can I stop the other callbacks of being processed and only receive and display the details of the last callback?
