For some reason the flash banners we use work just fine: [url]
Its only the videos that aren't working. We are referencing the videos the same way we reference the banners with the exception of the their class names.
The weird thing is that these videos were working just fine last week but now they simply do not display.

User clicks on image map that displays DIV1 with player id="Player1". When user clicks on another part of the map, DIV2 appears with another video - but DIV1's player "Player1" keeps playing. How can I stop the event after going to another div? Lots of efforts "out there" but I've yet to find out just how to do it successfully.
I've been trying to add embedded youtube videos to the carousel but so far without success. The videos are all over the screen, even when I wrap them in div. Has anyone ever done this and could help me?
I will have a group of 20 items and the user will be able to select up to three of them. After clicking a compare button, it would load a video for each item and play them back one right after another, seamlessly with no transition.
Is this possible using JQuery? Would a plugin be needed?

I work for a company called Best of the Best (www.botb.com). We use Flash countdown clocks to mark the end of our competitions. The issue we now have is that our clients are using mobile platforms more and more and as bloody Apple wont support flash (not fully anyway) we need the option to detect whether our users have flash and if not then replace the current <OBJECT>Blah Blah Parameters etc</OBJECT> with <DIVCLASS="NON_FLASH_CONTAINER">All other bits in middle</DIV>Is this at all possible?
I'm trying to put some code together to create an image-swapping system, that when you click on the image it'll hide the image and replace it with a given iframe vimeo/youtube code...The swapping part works fine, however when the iframe loads up, it hides all other flash objects in the page, and I can't figure out why.Here's the JS
Code: function swapvideo(w,h,url) { document.getElementById('video_pholder').style.display='none';
I'm writing a blog post that uses multiple videos from YouTube and Yahoo Video, but I'm not happy with how long it takes the page to render. Apart from using an ajax-y method to load the videos, are there any tricks that would make the page load quicker with multiple videos from different sources?
I have alot of home videos I want to put on my website, and it seems that the easiest way to do it would be to embed it onto my website using HTML script. Problem is, I have no clue how to convert in into HTML scrip
I have a couple of forms that require both an autocomplete field, and a date picker field. I'm using the ui.datepicker and Jorn's autocomplete.
The problem is that Jorn's autocomplete requires the dimensions plugin. When the dimensions plug in is in place, the datepicker is getting given the wrong values for the top position of the calendar. If I take the dimension plugin out, the calendar behaves properly, but the autocomplete throws an error. ( "list.scrollTop is not a function" ). With dimensions, the calendar slides down as usual, but once sliding is complete the calendar snaps above the text box - with parts of the calendar off the visible area of the page (i.e. hiding behind the toolbars).
I have just started a new job and am building my first website for them. I am using Jquery to try and impress them but after trying and testing the site in Safari, I am stumped as to why such a basic function its going wrong. The script works fine in ie and firefox so. I have stripped all the non necessary code out of this and placed the css and javascript inside the head.
If you load that code in firefox you will see that by clicking on 'show porfolio', a yellow div slides open and pushes the black div to the right. You click 'hide portfolio' and the black div slides back and the yellow div hides. You can open and close the portfolio div as often as you like and it works a treat. If you try doing the same in safari, it works the first time but then it starts pushing the black div down.
