I'm using the cycle plug-in with an existing nav bar (2 buttons). It functions correctly -- but for some reason -- I can't get the corresponding nav button to change CSS class and show as highlighted.

I have a href tag in my pager. When I click on it the slide changes to the ppropriate pager but the I don't get sent to the link even though allowPagerClickBubble is set to true. This works fine when pagerEvent is 'moveover' (as in the exaple posted here) ie. I get sent to the linked page. But it does not work when pagerEvent is the default 'click.cycle'.

I have re-styled the tabs of the pager with css so its not orange anymore. Instead the active and the inactive tabs have a background image. What I need to do now is remove the numbers, but I do not know how to. Can someone please tell me how to do so?

Am currently trying to achieve a image cycle with a pager. I have achieved this so far but will try and list what I would like to aim for below:-- I have four images which rotate using cycle- I have pager 1-4 generated- I want each pagination to have a unique image that defines it as a button- Active background triggers a image change on the pager (this image just highlights which image is showing)I hope that helps explain what I have so far - if not ill try and answer your questions as best I can.This is also what I've pulled together so far

Can anyone recommend a way to add a nice scrolling effect to the pager nav? I am using the imagethumbnails example as shown, but if the number of thumbnails exceeds the width of my div, I would like them to nicely scroll into and out of view as the slideshow continues. Perhaps in conjuction with another jQuery plugin?

So far I have the slides automatically fading between each other but I'd also like to have thumbnails that when hovered jumps the slideshow to the associated slide. I'm using the Cycle Plugin for a slideshow with a pager-nav .The AnchorBuilder gets the imagesource from "slide.src" - this is the same source as for the big image. Since I'm using rather big PNG's (500kb each) this double up the total pagesize. Is there a way to scale down these thumbs?I'm using Drupals Imagecache - so I do have access to scaled thumbs. I've got two sections of my page that I want to remain in sync as they cycle. I think I'm 95% of the way there, but I just can't quite get it to work. The #slideshow cycle works perfectly, as does the pager, but the #descriptions cycle behaves oddly. It hasn't been completely consistent, but usually it'll cycle after the 2nd slide, then never cycle again. This is the case whether or not I click the pager to #2 then back to #1 or if I just let it cycle.

I'm trying to build a Pager that would display numbers (as per default), but for the last slide, the pager button would simply be "Text".

Is it possible to use enable different transition effects for auto- advance versus the pager (that is, when a user clicks a pager item)? I'd like very much to use "fade" as images auto-advance without user input, but use a more advanced easing effect if the user clicks an item in the pager.

I just added a fourth image/caption. the pager picks up the fourth image, adding a dot. However, it now fades in on transition, then immediately out. no other code changed other than the addition of a fourth image. why this is now malfunctioning?

Also, the caption text transitions in with bolded elements properly appearing, and then they flip to regular text (the whole line of text transitions a bit strangely).

My process is to reset the entire menu to the inactive state, then switch on the active state for the item that was clicked. Eventually, the item that was clicked will display its corresponding body section as well. I've tried using the CSS pseudo-class "active", but since the entire div is the link, that is unavailable. I've also tried multiple variations of addClass/removeClass, toggleClass, and setAttribute/removeAttributebut nothing hasworked so far.

adding a class to an active li. I'm working in drupal, and the system adds a .active class to the DOM of whatever li class was last selected.In my .js file I added the following:

This works perfectly...for the first tab. when I navigate to the next tab the class does not change. I thought maybe there's a variable in the dom that is causing the class to not move, so I tried narrowing the div that it looks for and tried this:

This achieved the exact same results...so there's obviously something I'm missing, but don't know what it is. If it's any help, here are two examples of the generated DOM that occurs when clicking on the active li. The first example is the div that has the class added, and the second is a div that does not have anything added. <li class="overview ui-tabs-selected active first tabknotch"><a href="#overview"><span class="tab">Overview</span></a></li> (this is the active tab where the jQuery succesfully adds the "tabknotch" class)<li class="features ui-tabs-selected active"><a href="#features"><span class="tab">Features</span></a></li> (this is the active tab that does not have the class added when clicked. When this li is active knotchtab remains on the other li that no longer has the .active class attributed)
