I have two questions regarding JQuery Cycle
How to add 'slideHorz' transition and 'pager' options in JQuery Cycle Lite?I don't want to use the full version of JQuery Cycle because it would be too much for my purpose.
Also,Is that possible to use our own thumbnail as the anchor?
Is it possible to use enable different transition effects for auto- advance versus the pager (that is, when a user clicks a pager item)? I'd like very much to use "fade" as images auto-advance without user input, but use a more advanced easing effect if the user clicks an item in the pager.

The contact page works fine, but the homepage is not working at all in IE. I tried adding overflow: hidden to the container, but all that does is stop the extra content from spilling out over the rest of the page. But still no cycling. The site is [URL]

I have successfully implemented the jquery cycle plugin, but on some machines we see poor performance. We are trying to implement the lite version and perform other optimizations in an effort to improve performance on older machines. Many functions of the cycle plugin we can go without, but one important feature is the ability to run a function once the cycle is finished. We accomplish this via "nowrap" and "end" without issue using the full plugin, but I believe these options to be missing from the lite as the function does not execute upon cycle end.
The first part of this topic is to determine (since there is no list of features available in the lite versus full) that the nowrap/end are not available in lite.If they are not available, we would like assistance in performing a simple function to redirect the user when the cycle ends. We are using the cycle plugin to create a "splash" page and we want the page to auto-redirect to the main page upon completion. The "end" function did this perfectly, so what options do we have to redirect the user without the "end" function?

Using the minified jQuery Cycle Lite Plugin (only 3kb) is very very attractive for the project I'm working on. I'm trying to make cuts in load time and 99% of my site would only requires the fade transition, however one area needs the 'scrollUp' effect. How hard would it be to add that effect to the Lite version of the plugin?

I noticed that image anchors do not work when using the lite version of jQuery Cycle(jquery.cycle.lite.min.js) . I am referring to this example: [URL]
I copied all the code from the example and couldn't get it to work, out of desperation I switched to using jquery.cycle.all.js and the anchors instantly began working. It seems the lite version only drops the opacity on inactive slides, because clicking any slide uses the anchor href from slide 1.
EDIT: Just tested with the other versions of Cycle, and found all the other versions of cycle work flawlessly.. curious :

I have a slideshow similar (albeit more sophisticated) to this example [URL]. However, I'm trying to make the slideshow accessible to all JAWS users, leveraging aria-live attributes appropriately.
The problem is this: I am using the fx: 'fade' transition (this is out in the wild and I'm unable to change it at this point). However, I have a hidden button that gains visibility on tab focus. When the 'next' button is triggered I need the cycle plugin to leverage NO fx at all or the screen readers will end up using the subsequent slide for reading content due to the opacity + display time delay with the fade fx.
Basically I want my slideshow to have 2 fx, one for the default behavior (fx: 'fade' for the pager links) which is fading from slide to slide, and another fx (fx: 'none') that is used to prevent aria-live issues with screen readers. Is this possible?
Am currently trying to achieve a image cycle with a pager. I have achieved this so far but will try and list what I would like to aim for below:-- I have four images which rotate using cycle- I have pager 1-4 generated- I want each pagination to have a unique image that defines it as a button- Active background triggers a image change on the pager (this image just highlights which image is showing)I hope that helps explain what I have so far - if not ill try and answer your questions as best I can.This is also what I've pulled together so far

Can anyone recommend a way to add a nice scrolling effect to the pager nav? I am using the imagethumbnails example as shown, but if the number of thumbnails exceeds the width of my div, I would like them to nicely scroll into and out of view as the slideshow continues. Perhaps in conjuction with another jQuery plugin?

So far I have the slides automatically fading between each other but I'd also like to have thumbnails that when hovered jumps the slideshow to the associated slide. When I click on it the slide changes to the ppropriate pager but the I don't get sent to the link even though allowPagerClickBubble is set to true. This works fine when pagerEvent is 'moveover' (as in the exaple posted here) ie. I get sent to the linked page. But it does not work when pagerEvent is the default 'click.cycle'.

Since I'm using rather big PNG's (500kb each) this double up the total pagesize. Is there a way to scale down these thumbs?I'm using Drupals Imagecache - so I do have access to scaled thumbs. I've got two sections of my page that I want to remain in sync as they cycle. I think I'm 95% of the way there, but I just can't quite get it to work. The #slideshow cycle works perfectly, as does the pager, but the #descriptions cycle behaves oddly. It hasn't been completely consistent, but usually it'll cycle after the 2nd slide, then never cycle again. This is the case whether or not I click the pager to #2 then back to #1 or if I just let it cycle.

I'm trying to build a Pager that would display numbers (as per default), but for the last slide, the pager button would simply be "Text".

Right, here goes: I'm using a modified "jQuery Cycle Plugin - 'goto' Demo 2 (aka: Poor Man's pager)" implementation of the Cycle plugin, this works fine in FF2+, Op9, Saf3+ and Chrome2 but in IE cycle stops the background- image from repeating!
