Can anyone recommend a way to add a nice scrolling effect to the pager nav? I am using the imagethumbnails example as shown, but if the number of thumbnails exceeds the width of my div, I would like them to nicely scroll into and out of view as the slideshow continues. Perhaps in conjuction with another jQuery plugin?
I have re-styled the tabs of the pager with css so its not orange anymore. Instead the active and the inactive tabs have a background image. What I need to do now is remove the numbers, but I do not know how to. Can someone please tell me how to do so?
I'm using the cycle plugin to create a slideshow of highlights. So far I have the slides automatically fading between each other but I'd also like to have thumbnails that when hovered jumps the slideshow to the associated slide. Using pager and pagerEvent I can do this but I don't know how to use my own thumbnails for the pager.
I have a href tag in my pager. When I click on it the slide changes to the ppropriate pager but the I don't get sent to the link even though allowPagerClickBubble is set to true. This works fine when pagerEvent is 'moveover' (as in the exaple posted here) ie. I get sent to the linked page. But it does not work when pagerEvent is the default 'click.cycle'.
I am having an odd error where the pager generates links but they don't change the slide in FF and Safari. The biggest surprise of all is that it actually works in IE. Here is the page I am referring to: http://76.12.208.222/
I am trying to make the jQuery Cycle Plugin - Auto-pager work, but it hasn't worked for me. The first image displays, but it just will not change and display the pagnition.
I've got two sections of my page that I want to remain in sync as they cycle. I think I'm 95% of the way there, but I just can't quite get it to work. The #slideshow cycle works perfectly, as does the pager, but the #descriptions cycle behaves oddly. It hasn't been completely consistent, but usually it'll cycle after the 2nd slide, then never cycle again. This is the case whether or not I click the pager to #2 then back to #1 or if I just let it cycle.
I'm building a jQuery cycle slideshow into a Wordpress post. The slideshow will cycle through images attached to the post, and the final slide will always be a text box (generated by a meta box).
I'm trying to build a Pager that would display numbers (as per default), but for the last slide, the pager button would simply be "Text".
e.g.
1 2 3 4 5 Text
I have explored PagerAnchorBuilder but am still struggling.
Is it possible to use enable different transition effects for auto- advance versus the pager (that is, when a user clicks a pager item)? I'd like very much to use "fade" as images auto-advance without user input, but use a more advanced easing effect if the user clicks an item in the pager.
I have been running the cycle plugin with success for a while, using 3 images, a caption, and a pager area (simple dots). I just added a fourth image/caption. the pager picks up the fourth image, adding a dot. However, it now fades in on transition, then immediately out. no other code changed other than the addition of a fourth image. why this is now malfunctioning?
I have the cycle plugin running, works fine on all but IE7 (not catering to IE6). The pager elements on the right do not appear in IE7. I have tried adjusting the z-index, etc., but can't figure it out.
Also, the caption text transitions in with bolded elements properly appearing, and then they flip to regular text (the whole line of text transitions a bit strangely).
Using the very good and efficient jquery cycle plugin. I'm using the implementation to show 2 images at a time, using the code below: <div> <image 1> <image 2> </div> <div> <image 3> <image 4> </div> However is it possible to scoll 1 item at a time but show 2 images, so at first show image 1 and image 2, then scroll left and have image 2 and image 3 show and then scroll left and have image 3 and image 4 show.
I have yet to be able to do this successfully. I am using the Cycle Plugin to cycle through a series of images and corresponding caption. To show the images, I use:
Problem: The captions do not effectively cycle. What appears is the first caption from php the_excerpt but it does not change to the next php the_excerpt text. Can I solve this problem so I get the text from php the_excerpt to correspond to each image??
Am currently trying to achieve a image cycle with a pager. I have achieved this so far but will try and list what I would like to aim for below:-- I have four images which rotate using cycle- I have pager 1-4 generated- I want each pagination to have a unique image that defines it as a button- Active background triggers a image change on the pager (this image just highlights which image is showing)I hope that helps explain what I have so far - if not ill try and answer your questions as best I can. This is also what I've pulled together so far
I am working on a project using the (brilliant) cycle plugin, here's the scenario: (apologies in advance for bad terminology that may be used) I have a pager using thumbnail images, the slides contain text, at the moment cycle automatically cycles through the slides. I want each pager thumbnail that corresponds to it's respective slide to grow when active using the hoverpulse plugin
How to add 'slideHorz' transition and 'pager' options in JQuery Cycle Lite?I don't want to use the full version of JQuery Cycle because it would be too much for my purpose.
Also,Is that possible to use our own thumbnail as the anchor?
I'm using the Cycle Plugin for a slideshow with a pager-nav .The AnchorBuilder gets the imagesource from "slide.src" - this is the same source as for the big image. Since I'm using rather big PNG's (500kb each) this double up the total pagesize. Is there a way to scale down these thumbs?I'm using Drupals Imagecache - so I do have access to scaled thumbs. But I dont know how the get Cycle to use them (printing a php array inside a javascript?).My script looks like this:
I'm using the cycle plug-in with an existing nav bar (2 buttons). It functions correctly -- but for some reason -- I can't get the corresponding nav button to change CSS class and show as highlighted.
Right, here goes: I'm using a modified "jQuery Cycle Plugin - 'goto' Demo 2 (aka: Poor Man's pager)" implementation of the Cycle plugin, this works fine in FF2+, Op9, Saf3+ and Chrome2 but in IE cycle stops the background- image from repeating! As usual I cannot give out a public link due to NDA but I can give you these two image locations to see the differences: [URL]
I have to implement Tablesorter Pager plugin on Dynamic Table which will be cleared(emptied) out everytime. I triedby adding pager to [URL].. The sorting is working fine for first time but when i click on append url, the sorting is not working and the pager is skipping pages for large dataon subsequent clicks. I tried all the solutions ( appendCache, update, bind) but nothing seems to be solving the problem.
I am having an issue with pausing the cycle from links within the cycle. I have set up a cycle that contains a html contentent including a 'video playlist'. This is a javascript based list that updates a flash video player with a new video inside the cycle. The videos are loading fine, but for some reason when i call the cycle 'pause', it dosent work? i have testing the $('#feature').cycle('pause'); from a link outside the cycle and that seems to be working, but it seems to be from the links inside the cycle content. here is the code i am using (i have made a custom crossfade transition)
function feature() { $('#featuretitle').hide(); $('#feature').after( '<div id="featurenav"></div>'
I'm using the Cycle plugin to display images for some of my past projects onhttp:[URL]..projekteMy problem is that in Chrome i get the above error in console.([cycle] terminating; zero elements found by selector) I have tried manually initializing the Cycle plugin for every project div and that did not help so I went back to my initial code:
I define a cycle in document.ready as per usual. In my cycle I have different sets of images that i want to cycle through and only want certain ones to cycle as selected using the slideExpr option.
Is there a way to change this option from:
SlideExpr: 'a'
To:
SlideExpr: 'b'
Another alternative i've considered is to make a cycle of cycles.
I've worked though a lot of issues trying to get the jQuery cycle plugin working in a relatively complex situation but have hit yet another wall.
Basically, I'm trying to get the jQuery Cycle plugin to cycle through entire divs, each one of which contains yet another slider platform built in jQuery. The first div always displays exactly as it should but when I click to transition, the elements within the second div appear stacked instead of side by side on the slider as they should. I've tried modifying the CSS in every way I can think of to prevent this, but so far, no dice.
I'm not sure whether its an element of the CSS for the second slider platform (wp e-commerce product slider) or one of the two platforms themselves. One thing I did notice was that one of the inner slider divs "gallery_slider" is automatically being set to 90px wide which is way too thin, but I can't seem to figure out how to override this if that is actually the problem.
You can check out the site that I'm trying to implement this on at [url]. The trigger to change the slider div is under "Men's">"Cloth Belts".
