I am looking for a script that will push 4 images at a time from left to right by 4 new images with a text label below each image. These 4 images and labels would need to be dynamic and change every time a user refreshes or enters that page again. I cannot find an example anywhere.
i am trying to add a Link dynamic to a and Image that i am creating dynamic too to a table, here is the code that i am using to add the image but i dont now how to add the link to the images.
Code: var cell6 = row.insertCell(5); var element6 = document.createElement("img");
When you mouse over the image, it shows a magnified section of the image next to it. I've been trying to reverse engineer it but so far no joy, I'm not getting the image to the left to appear.
I have a page with a large centre-aligned image on it. I want a functionality whereby users can click their mouse on any point in this image and it would then show a virtual mouse pointer at the place where they clicked it. If they were to click somewhere else, the position of the virtual cursor would change.
The position of the cursor needs to dynamically generate a link and display it in a form field text edit box.
If that link is then viewed separately, it would launch the same page with the virtual mouse pointer at the location where the original person placed it.
Basically I want to be able to have one guy point to a location on the image for the benefit of another guy, but graphically as opposed to relying on written explanation.
See attached mock-up of my site's order table... if I can figure out how to upload an image... [IMG] The user is allowed to change the quantity of items (input fields in the green box) to select which suppliers to order from, and based on this the values in the red boxes should be calculated. It should be a simple problem of multiplying quantities by prices and summing across suppliers for each product... but I want to do it in javascript without reloading the page : )
All values are taken from my database and stored in a php associative array - which seems to be the main complicating factor as it's quite a deep one. $products[13789]['sellers'][3]['products_price'] = 16.99 How would you guys tackle this? Are there any examples/tutorials out there you can point me to?
anybody knew of an existing library for using Javascript to create a dynamic text overlay on an image?I'd like to have a user enter text and have it show up on the t-shirt in real time, but not quite sure where to start. I'm no JS pro. I tried to look for existing jquery libraries but couldn't find much.
I'm working with a site which has a centered table which is fixed width at 961px.Now what I need to do is to display one image on the right of this, and one of the left, and make it so that the image trails out to a constant color.
The issue starts when this image (really it was originally one image with white space between the two borders) is displayed in the browser. Depending on browser, resolution, etc, the image became far too wide.
I have a script that uses jQuery to POST data through AJAX to a PHP script, that uses that data to create a dynamic JPG image. The PHP script returns the binary image data as output using the PHP header image/jpeg command (so far so good).
Now I want to display that image in the client, but I haven't been able to find a proper solution for this yet. After reading up a bit I understand a possible solution would be to have the PHP script encode it in base64 and return the string to the client as a data URI. However, that solution won't suffice because it is not supported by IE < 8 and still limited to 32K images in IE 8.
For the moment, I am writing the image to a tmp dir on the server and return a filename to the client. However, there must be another way to solve this more elegantly through. how I can use jQuery/JavaScript to display the returned binary image data in the browser?
am just about at wits end, and I am hoping someone here will be able to assist. I've searched and searched and have come close but to no avail. I found a nice image gallery code from "David's Kitchen" http://monc.se/kitchen/80/lightweight-image-gallery-with-thumbnails and have tweaked it to eactly what I wanted, however, I want to add an image caption of the alternate image text below the active picture. I've tried everything I could think of (with my limited knowledge) with no successHere is the code I have:
So my task was to build basically photo-based department org-charts for a SharePoint 2007 environment. Not sure why I was asked to do this as the last time I web designed was when Netscape 4.0 and IE4 were still duking it out, but whatever.I inserted my images (125x125) into tables and everything looks great. on my screen.Boss's screen, a slightly smaller monitor with a lower resolution, not so much.I'd like to be able to dynamically resize the image display sizes based on detected screen resolutions, or failing that, have at least 2 image libraries using 75x75 and 125x125 and then load one image size or the other based again on detected screen resolutions.
I'm trying to manipulate the functions of Codaslider for a layout. What I need is the ability to use an image for slide dynamic slide navigation. I've solved the issue for dynamic hashing, however I'm stuck at modifying the HTML. I've tried a few things but I figure this is the easiest way...
how to populate a dropdown based on Another dropdown selection. This all should be a dynamic. Eg: I have two text boxes one is TechID and other is JOB ID. When I start typing Tech ID it suggests me the list of IDs which start with the input string i have put in Tech textbox. When i select the Tech ID the jobs associated to that Tech ID should be displayed in JOB ID text box as a dropdown list.
I am having a problem with the last results. I can't seem to be able to get the input2A and input3A to appear. I don't seem to have a problem with the show and hide after a number is entered and submitted. If anyone can answer my problem I will be greatly appreciated with a prize. I actually have submitted it more than once and I haven't had anyone been able to answer it yet. Code:
i was trying for some days now to find a solution for this. had a look at different posts and forums online, but no luck so far...is it possible to auto-create this with a loop???:
I've been beating my head against a wall for a few days trying to get this working. I'm trying to create a dynamic menu where a user selects one item and another select list is shown, then another and another (and so on). Here is my JS, it *should* be taking the ID of the div, comparing it to the selected value and then showing another div by settings it's class property to visible:
I have made a script where you can add extra fields, and next to the row is a span that automatically displays the outcome from a calculation of three fields in that row. i.e. Q x (B - A) = total. Here is the bit that does the calculation:
function advCalc(selected) { var result = Number(document.formmain.elements["quantity"+selected].value) * (Number(document.formmain.elements["provideamount"+selected].value) - Number(document.formmain.elements["supplyamount"+selected].value)) ; [Code]....
I will like to know if there is anyway to view all the rules that I have currently in the Jquery validation plugin. Currently, I am trying to add in rules dynamically through the rules(add) function after adding some dynamic fields through the user inputs. the rules are added in this manner.
I want to have a big image and say 5 small thumbnails underneath. When the user clicks a thumbnail, the image loads where the previous big image was. Is there a standard way to do this?
i have image button i need to display image .if the size of the image button is 100*100 and image size is 50*50 .the remaining space of the image button should be empty.the image should not stretch.
Im trying to have a click event that replaces an image on the page with a new image that has been selected randomly from an array. I have solved PART of this already (can get the random image to appear).
However, instead of appearing on the page where the old image was, the new image appears in a blank page.
My research indicates that this blank page location-problem is a result of using document.write in the Function. Therefore, I know I need to find a different way to accomplish this, but am failing miserably.
I have been trying for hours and hours and HOURS to figure out proper syntax for accomplishing this via elements, functions, variables and mootools.
A bit of my research:

INTRO: I tried to clean it up for easy reading. I hope I didn't make any mistakes.
PROBLEM: WOW, this is some crazy sh!t. I can't get my checkbox (see "TAGSELECTED") to print my textboxes (see "TAG#") when more than 1 number (see "VLANS") is inputed into my form.
QUESTION: How do I make my dynamic form have a dynamic input box(which is created by checking the checkbox and calling the functionC1) inside it and still be able to pass the values to my php page? Code:
I use an image button to post a form. Let's say the button is on A.php and form target is B.php. when clicked, B.php comes but with extra arguments in the url. As far as I understand they are the coordinates of the point I clicked on the button image.
I'm building a website with a image menu like accordion, using jquery+easing+kwicks [URL]ith CSS, I can change the opacity of the element hovered (the opened kwick), but I'm looking to someway to change the opacity of the inactive kwicks (the images that close when you open a hovered image).I tried to do it with css, or hacking kwicks plugin, but I couldn't make it.
I am building a simple t-shirt creator app for my shop and I am using the interface.js library: [URL].. docs/drag to drag/drop and re-size the graphic on the shirt background image.
Once the user has chosen a spot to put the graphic, how do I save the background image of the t-shirt with the image they dropped in the correct spot? Like, to merge the two graphics in place?
In one of my web page I want to show an image preloader. ie When I clicked on the small thumbnail in my web page then the main large image will load. My code looks something like this
$("#images li").click(function(){ var image=this.href; $("#mainImage").attr('src',image); });
I want to show the Loading sign until the main image loads completely.
