I'm a new java scripter and I'm having trouble with the date and time. Basically when a checkbox is checked, it displays the time in a text box. But since I have multiple check boxes, it changes the time in all the text boxes. How do I have the checkbox linked to the text box. Code:

This has been going on for months so I have a lot of files with server times saved in the database. Recently the client asked if the date/time could be displayed according to the client's timezone instead of the server's. So let's say there is a file with a date/time of 07/15/2004 1:15 PM in central time zone and the client is viewing the file today in pacific time zone (2 hrs diff.). I very new to JavaScript and I need to validate a text field after a checkbox has been clicked. This is part of a larger form validation. I am looking for the simplest and easy solution to this issue. I have seen a couple of other examples that are far too complicated for the my needs. The form is asking a user to identify a referral source. If the referral source is a website, it wants the user to provide a URL.
