I wanted to know how would you be able to change an image on a website to another one when refresh is hit on the tool bar in IE. How would I get it to open up a different html file when I hit refresh and I'm not talking about any automatic delay stuff..
I need to refresh multiple images on my site. So every time the page gets refreshed the images need to change. It worked fine with the script below, but this is only related to 1 image
I tried to copy the script and change the "ID's" but this does not do the job.
how to change images based on action. Even clicking changed images should do respective actions. and while displaying only one image at a time sholud get displayed. I am using three images for a single column of a table in Jsp. Code:
i build a website with draging of window like divs, but when somebody drags a div it sometimes selects some images. so im looking for a way to disable selecting images all over the website, i know its posible but i dont know how.
i have a page that refreshes every minute. i would like to cancel the refresh when the mouse is over my image and refresh the page when the mouse moves out of the image.
Using Dreamweaver, I'm trying to implement code on my page so that the images refresh upon loading, and each image links to a different page.I'm also trying to have it so images will rotate on the page and link to other pages within my site.
I've tried looking for a script that will do the same but I keep coming across javascripts that will change just one image randomly or change multiple images randomly but the images aren't related.
I also have seen PHP scripts with full-fledged features and an admin panel where I can create ad farms to accomplish my goal but I think that's overkill.
Does anyone know where I can find this javascript? FYI, I am weak at writing javascript myself so that's why I'm looking for a cut-and-paste script.
Do you see how the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4 are being displayed on the page? How can you make the images change everytime the user clicks a different number to display different images?
Been looking around for 3 days now, I found exactly the style that I want, have images on my web site, all I need is for someone to show, explain to me how exactly this pagination or whatever it is works, how do i select which actual images from my site or where to be shown in the main window and also the thumbnails below?
as I said, I already know what kind of slide show I want, it's in this link the lower right version of slideshow with the pics of two horses and stuff: [URL] I already have the script on my site but but can't figure out how to place my images: [URL] and I want THUMBNAILS on the bottom like in the first link.... not the text
I'm using AJAX to auto-refresh a chatroom. You can see it on the right of the following site: http:[url]...
The problem is, when large images are placed in the chatroom via BBCode, (temporarily disabled) when the chatroom refreshes, they flicker! This is caused by the AJAX reloading the content, which in turn reloads the image. Is there a workaround for this? I want to allow images in the chatroom, but I don't want to turn off the auto-refresh. Below is the code I am running to refresh the chatroom:
Javascript Code: Original - Javascript Code function update() {[code]....
Basically, what it does is reloads chatQuery.php and currentlyOnlineQuery.php every 5 seconds, or when a chat message is submitted.
I am trying to put an image on the front page of my website that changes to one of two random images on mouseover. This part was easy, and has been done (I got the code from [URL] But what I am finding difficult is to make each image link to a different page. For example, if the user mouseovers the main image and sees the 'thumbs up' image, then clicks on it, they should be taken to the 'thumbs up' page. And if the user mouseovers the main image and sees the 'thumbs down' image, then clicks on it, they should be taken to the 'thumbs down' page. The site is here: [URL] I think using 2 arrays is the way to go, but am not sure.
I'm a real newbie with Javascript, but I'm having fun. I just bought the book, "Simply Javascript" (have only just cracked it so far). I'm reasonably familiar with PHP (I use a lot of it to do simple things). I'm a Web desinger and do custom CSS Websites (I'm fairly new to that too couple of years or more working with CSS and I've never done a table based layout.
[Code]...
But when the button is clicked, nothing will call the showCaption() function again, and I can't figure out how to call that function as the images advance. I have tried a lot of things with a lot of weird results, one being the tne next caption will display in a blank browser window, without the Webpage! I'm not sure why that happens, but I have a clue.
Is there an easier way to do what I want to do? I only want to show a few lines of text that will describe each image. Seems simple enough to me, but I'm just too new to make it work.
Is there a code out there that can do this. I type my domain name into the browser and the page automatically resizes itself to a specified height and width in pixels.
is it possible to display a different website according to the browser's screen resolution? For example, is it possible that in the body onload you put a code, and then you have all three different websites listed in the file, and the code analyzes the screen resolution, then chooses the appropriate website? In my situation, I can't have a screen which pops up and asks for the resolution - it just wouldn't work. So, is it possible?
i would like to build a page which is nav and content, I would like the content to change without refreshing the page, also ideally fallback gracefully to non java say to standard go and view new page on click if javascript is disabled, and also have the content only load in when required as the content is heavy and I dont think just hiding divs will be a good solution? any ideas, I'm thinking a javascript PHP solution is required
I want to create a dynamic way to change the page titles on a website. I am currently using a php include feature and due to the variable data required for a title/meta is there an easy way to control this from one file and then include it in a similar way?I don't really want to go through lots of pages manually amending it in the future?
Since the client user has no totally installed flash player in their computer, so that No need to detect if they have installed flash player. I am having a html file with show/hide functionality using javascript. If I click "more link" then I can see more links with "hide" link at the bottom. On clicking hide link its getting hide. My problem is, if I click "more link" and I refreshed the page. Again all the links get hidden. I want those links should be hidden only on clicking the "hide link". Not for every page refresh.
Here is my html code:
<script language='javascript' type='text/javascript'> function showHideDiv() { var divstyle = new String(); divstyle = document.getElementById('moreDiv').style.display;
