One of the text boxes is for the user to enter the current date. I simply want the current date to automatically appear there. Tried a reply to this on another thread (glenn's responce) and cant seem to get it to work. Have looked everywhere!
Currently the code for that specific text box looks like this:

I have a start date and end date text boxs. What I would like to achieve is when a submit button is clicked all the available dates between start and end dates should be displayed together with 3 check boxes next to each date (please see below). I am just wondering whether that'sachievablewith jquery, and if so, how I might be able to implement this.

I have learned a good bit of PHP and have implemented it for use in my work as a math tutor.My kids are telling me, however, that it is too inconvenient to hit tab or click on the next text box and would prefer to use the old style pencil and paper.I thought of a good idea: Javascript would be able to automatically focus the curser on the next text box if some condition was met.For example: 6+7. If the textbox reads 13, it will focus on the next text box. Otherwise, nothing happens. This kills three birds with one stone; the user will know if they got the question right or wrong and it will move automatically if they got it correct.The problem is I lack any real JavaScript wisdom. I would guess this would be quite simple. The closest thing I have found upon searching was this from the user requestcode, but this has to do with once the user has typed in 4 characters it moves automatically.

Right now we're stuck changing this schedule each day by hand, but it's tough considering we're all college students ourselves and sometimes our own schedules simply don't allow the time.Is there a code that would allow this kind of a daily update to happen automatically?

I need all 3 to resize - be the same size on text overflow - so if box a gets 100 lines of code and resizes, the other 2 should follow. I would like to set up the section on the right that says "testimonials" to rotate between three quotes, with an image next to each quote. Is there a way to do this with a div block that does not have a set size?
I know I can use flash but that obviously would be a set width.
I've done a search for this because I'm certain I'm not the first to have this problem, but I could not find the solutions. I am marginally experienced with PHP but have no knowledge of javascript. This is for a scheduling program. Prior to generating the form, the question is asked as to how many days are needed, and the form automatically generates the appropriate # of fields. They are, for this example, as follows:
Day 1, Title 1, Description 1
Day 2, Title 2, Description 2
Day 3, Title 3, Description 3
Day 4, Title 4, Description 4
I would like to add a checkbox (entitled "Same as Previous Day") that allows the user to duplicate the previous entry, populate the fields so the database is properly filled, and make the fields it just populated uneditable. So for the example, if day 2 and 3 were the same as day 1, I could select a box for each day 2 and day 3 and their titles and descriptions would be filled with the information from Day 1.

On my site, I would like to have jQuery automatically convert all plain-text URLs to links. For example, if I have the following in the BODY tag of my Web page: Go to [URL]to go to the Google Groups home page. I'm sure the prepend() and append() functions will be used, but how do I tell jQuery how to pick URLs out of the Web page, if they are not surrounded by separate tags? I'm sure if each URL was in a SPAN tag it would be much easier.

When the text length reaches 3 & 5 ie after date & month, by default this function should return slash ( / ) - this is to avoid typing / from keyboard.

I have an ASP page that send data to a database. One of the fields
is "Date" (no quotes). The form name is FrontPage_Form1. I would like
the Date field to auto populate. So, I did some research and the only
thing that I could come up with that worked was this:

The function should take the date value passed in from text box 1 convert it from a string to a date format and add the number of days passed in to the function to the date then output that value in the format dd/mm/yyyy to a second text box.
So far I have:

I am currently working on a calendar memo site for university, and I'm having a small problem. I have some code to validate a date put into a TextBox (day of month only. Month and Year are in drop down menus and are working fine), but whenever I try to click to validate it, I get the following error in Firebug:
QuotedayBox is not defined
And it points me towards the first part of my validation function. The code to get the TextBox displayed is in a Form HTML element and is:
<INPUT TYPE="text" NAME="dayBox" VALUE="date" SIZE="2">
The validation function is:

Step 1: Check box is not empty.

The error occurs on the line "if (dayBox.length = "") {", right at the start of the function. It looks like the validate function is not recognising that there is a TextBox in the form called dayBox, but I can't see why.
I recently added some javascript code to my website to make the current date update automatically. It displays as centered. I would like to know how I can align the date to the left. Also, how to change the date text to bold , and how to change the fonts of the date text.
