I am just trying to have a login form on a page using div tags. After successful login without refreshing the page, the textboxes on the form should be replaced by Welcome message or displaying username and Logout button.
When a user in somewhere of a site, he/she may want to login to access some user restrict pages. He/she clicks a login link on the menu and sign in on the login page. How to use JQuery to let the user back to the page where he/she clicks the login link?
In Chrome, the login page on my schools educational online platform doesn't remember the login info. So i made a bookmark with this javascript injection, that fills in the info, and focusses on the 'aanmelden' button (='login' in dutch), so that i only have to press enter to continue. Here's the javascript injection:javascript: ocument.getElementById('username').value='23889493984';document.getElementById('password').value='4 42384985';return false;document.getElementById('login').focus();This works fine but i'd like to make it happen faster. I wish i could let the script be activated instantly when the page loads, so i only have to press enter, or if possible, let the script click the login button itself.
I'm doing 1 web-system, where login page in .jsp but other functional page in .html where I use javascript to do function. So if user knows any other html page's url then they can browse directly any of those page. But I've to prevent them & send to login page if they try to browse with out login. Very sad I can't do it
Is it possible to trigger the action of a form with a submit button that's outside the form tags? If so, how should this example be rescripted to make the input tag work outside the form tags?
I am using a Jquery/PHP/MySQL login script which is supposed to display an error or success message when the user enters their username/password and also if the username/pw is successfull go to a secure page. Right now as I have it coded, this isn't working properly. Basically nothing is displayed either way.Also,wasn't sure if I just needed to replace, the ?secure-page part with the file name of the page I want to go to if successful?Here is the code as I have it now.
<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd"> <html>[code].....
I want two buttons: one for login and another for logout. Initially login button is enabled and logout button is disabled. When I click on login button, the logout button should get enabled and the login button should get disabled. And after that, when i click on logout, the login button should get enabled and the logout button should get disable.
Here's how far I could go with it,but it doesn't work.
I have a a html page that is used as a login page.I know it is not secure but this is just for learning purposes, I'm not using it for anything important.My problem is that when I put in the correct login all that happens is the page just clears the text boxes as if you were starting over.I am trying to get it to go to register.html which is located in the same directory as the login page.
I removed the " around the javascript:ajaxpage('login.php'); as it was giving me syntax error. But I am unable to cal login .php upon clicking Login. I tried various combination of single quote and double quote but I think I am missing some fundamental rules of single and double quote combination....or may be something else.
I found his basic code online for a popup login but I don't know how to get the information from it either into php variables or whatever i need to do code...
I put the css on a separate page and just copied the login link and the javascripts. I don't know how to get the information into php variables so i can check it with the database.
I know I'm just asking for the answer but I don't know javascript and i don't want to spend a month learning it just for a login form. If your going to just say go learn javascript then don't post .
I've managed to open the login form in fancybox. When visitors login, the page opens in the i-frame itself. When they hit the close button of the fancy box, the parent page refreshes.Almost there but I would like to close the popup and refresh the parent page at one go with a proper function when a visitor hits the submit button
I am trying to automate a login to a website and am learning jscript on the fly
java script: var webstart ={ var email = prompt('Enter your Email Address:', 'Email...'); var pwd = prompt('Enter your Password:', 'Password...'); login: function() {
I want to know if there is a way to prevent users from manually typing in the URL and entering the page after they have already signed out?
I was able to make the back button disabled.
Let's say if they have already click logout and when they click back, it won't go anywhere, which is what I want.
But, if they manually type in the url address, it will take them to that page. What I want to do is after they logout and whenever they try to type the url, it should not take them to that page, but instead to the login page.
i have a login area (user/pass text boxes). when the user submits the form, the page is reloaded with with a global php variable "loggedIn" set to true. i also store the username and password in the page in a hidden form -- so that it can be passed to other pages on the site through standard navigation (maintaining the "loggedIn" status). however, is there any way to save this information if the user hits refresh?
as it stands, whenever the user hits refresh, the user/pass data is lost, and loggedIn is set to false. can this be worked around without using cookies?
I am trying to fix error- object does not exist- I want it possible to allow object not to exist.
I am writing a script on a page that may or may not include a login form. For example-after a visitor logs in, the login form is no longer on the page, but other content is still there. I want to bring focus to the login form using the onLoad in the body tag.....but if the login form does not exist, I do not want to perform this function.
The following code works fine for focusing the cursor on to the login form.
I am having a particular problem with my Javascript page, which should change the form that the user is at. Need to proofread my code to check for errors? The code does not change the form (Also it does not run the PHP page, or at least does not display its output in the loginStatus div):
<html> <head> <link href="style.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="screen" /> <title> PHP Hardcoded Login Script! </title> <script> function processLogin(form) { var user = form.user.value; var pass = form.pass.value; var url = "processLogin.php?user=" + user + "&pass=" + pass;
if (window.XMLHttpRequest) {// code for IE7+, Firefox, Chrome, Opera, Safari xmlhttp=new XMLHttpRequest(); } else {// code for IE6, IE5 xmlhttp=new ActiveXObject("Microsoft.XMLHTTP"); } .....
Why this is not working? The page running this code can be found at: [URL] Another page without the signup form (that works) is at: [URL] The login for the pages is: user: john_doe pass:password
I have Google Mail login page, saved locally to C: disk. I want to edit its source so, that when entered username and password and clicked on "Login" button it did absolutelly nothing, but the form did not reset. I tried deleting from the source "form action = https"//....", "method = post", "onsubmit = ...".
So, when the form is submitted, nothing happens(as I want it to be), but the field values are reset(what I want to avoid). I also tried inserting to source code "form onsubmit = return false", but the username and password values are still reset.
I am developer in .NET but I need to access session object in client side and redirect the page to login. i am using the following code snippet but I am unable to achieve the target.
I want to make a login area and a user registration page. I don't want to build this from scratch, so I'm looking for a script or application that I can insert into my website.I know WP and Joomla have a login area and a user registration page, only I'm looking for a lighter version. A login area like WP or Joomla but without all the other features that I don't need.
I'd like to have one form that has username and password at the top and if that is all the user supplies, then try to log him in. Otherwise, validate all fields for registration.
The problem then lies in the remainder of the form which has email, name and password confirmation. I still want to run validate on those fields but ONLY if the user has typed at least one character in any one of them.
Is there a way to do this? Or an example somewhere? Can validate for certain fields only be turned on IF a certain other condition is met?
