When the page is loaded, the table 'onOut' will be not shown. I like to make it shown when mouse is on the link 'display and not shown when the mouse is out of the link 'display.'
I'm looking for a javascript/css code that can do the following, for a click button:
- When mouse is not over the click-button, a text should be displayed at the right of the button, in a bordered textbox - 85% transparency (hardly visible)
(- when mouse hovers over the button, the button image changes to a different one <- I know how to do this)
- When the button is clicked the text shows up normaly (0% transparency)
- When clicking again the button OR anywhere else on the page, the text goes back to 85% transparency.
With the following code I can change the mouse pointer. However, if you click in Mozilla (with IE it works perfect) on 'Show hourglass' the mouse pointer changes only if you move the mouse at least on pixel.
<html> <body> <script type = 'text/javascript'> function show_hourglass() { document.getElementById("my_href1").style.cursor = "wait"; document.getElementById("my_href2").style.cursor = "wait"; }
Is there a trigger in JQuery that occurs when the user either:1 - clicks the left mouse button and moves the mouse upOR2 - clicks the left mouse button and moves the mouse down?mouseup() and mousedown() are only for clicking the button. I need a trigger that includes both the left mouse click and movement of the mouse up or down occurring simutaneously
I am finishing up my website, right now I am using Flexcroll for the scrollbar in my main content window. Problem is, I want people to be able to use the mouse wheel to scroll that content window regardless of the mouse position.
My website is www. paulfenton .tk/wordpress if you want to see it.
I was wondering if anyone knew a way I can keep the mouse wheel focus on that internal div so I can scroll up and down at all times.

I problem in the page which involves php and javascript. Since the javascript part doesn't seem to be working so I am posting it here. I have two php files. First one has the drop down list which when selected invokes the second php files. Based on the values passed to the second file. A query is formulated and the results are displayed in the table format. Also the values are stored in an array which is used to create a bar graph, this is done in javascript. The problem is, the graph is not displayed in this case but if I put all the code in one file, the graph is displayed. The table with the data is being displayed in both cases.
I am displaying some data from a XML sheet on my webpage. parsing it using javascript ofcourse. Now its working in all browsers except IE.
