1. I want to make form with 2 select filds that one of them will be disabled if in the first the use choose a specific option i wrote it in this way (but its not work) how I fix it?

2. I want that after u fill the form and press submit u will see a txtarea with all the options u selected (for confirm that you chose the right things) and then press submit agien and get all the things u saw in the txtarea to a Email.

I am trying to make a form where the user is only able to select an option from one of the drop down menus and if they click both then submit an error should pop up telling them to select just one. Now I have found this code:

the first problem is that my menu must be named "id[2]2" which causes a problem due to the bracketed 2 and the 2 after. Is there any way around that?the second problem I forsee is that this will only work with 1 drop down box being unselected. I need a code that will give the warning if nothing is selected OR if something is selected in both drop downs.

This is dropdown list...if user choose okc in first list(vrsta) in second (celik) user can choose C0270 and C0370...if chosen pc in first list in second user can choose C1330 and C1530 etc... There are two boxes...ans15 and ans14...and button which user clicks
The idea is that user choose one option(okc,pc or cc) and choose option (C0270 or something else) onclick some values should be written in boxes
Example: chosen okc and C0270 in ans15 "hello" and in ans14 "goodbye" should be writen if chosen okc and C0370 in ans15 "hi" and in ans14 "bye" should be writen:

I need a script that when an option is selected in a drop-down box (select tag) an input tag appears and I am still pretty basic at javascript.
I was using a script that worked fine but because the variable of the option that makes the script go required the "|" character, it interfered with a PHP script in my document and screwed everything up.

I'm making a form with some select options, and when clicking an option from the drop down, another option will appear.
The thing is that it seems to work in the most common browsers, but for myself, as a beginner in Javascript, I don't know if it's written the correct way. What could be done better?
Aswel, before I write further to this part of code, I want to know that the value of the second option will pass correctly via the PHP process script afterwards... because initially, the second option is not mentioned in the .html file, it comes in virtually by the javascript.

I am allowing a user to selected a date to schedule an event and it
seems like the best way to do this is with drop down menus for Year,
month, date. However I would like to make it so when you choose a year
and a month the appropriate days for that month show (i.e. 28 days if
you chose February 2006). I can easily do this with a loop if I can
find out what month the user has selected, but I can't seem to find a
way to get that value. Is there a simple javascript solution to this
problem?

Is this possible? Can I use JavaScript to edit a select form's option values given a certain condition?What I am trying to do is when a specific month is selected on my drop down select form (like february for example), to edit the day form so that it deletes teh options for 29, 30 and 31, thus not allowing the user to put in an invalid date.I know its only client side validation and thats fine. I am gonna do server side later.

A user can control the AutoFill option by enabling / disabling the
Remember Passwords option in Options - Privacy - Saved Passwords
section.
But is it possible to disable this option programatically using
JavaScript or in any other way ? I basically dont want the user's
browser to ever remmeber the username and password and hence autofill
these two fields !! So can we do anything as the page author to disable
this option completely?

I am trying to display a rel of each option as they are selected into a div below it . There are several selects of classProductAvailability on the page. When one of the selects changes, I'd like the value of the rel of the selected option to display.At first it seems to work, but only if you start by changing the last pull down menu. The trouble seems to be in the"select.ProductAvailability option:selected", this needs to be written for this instance, not all of the selects of that class on the page. How do I write that, I've tried$(this+" option:selected") but it won't take.

What is happening is $(this) is no longer based on .expand being the (this) that is clicked.
like if i have a button SOMEWHERE randomly on the page with this
<div onclick="Minimize('_alerts');">Click Here</div> this will minimize alerts but because the (this) in minimize function doesn't actually point to the right button that I want to add a class to.
Is there a way to modify the minimize function so that it finds the <div id="mytoggle"><ul> <li class="expand boxminimize" rel="_alerts"> using the rel toggle, and then changes the class of the li from expand boxminimize to boxexpanded??
just like the .expand click function I posted on the top of the post that works?

I'm using the following code to remove an option from a select control based on a selection in a different select control and the option text in the select option that is being removed. The code works as I want it to, but I would prefer to use the option value for identifying the option to remove instead of using the option text.
