Jquery :: Open The Grid And Select Option "3". "3" Would Be Displayed In The Textbox And Buttons "A" To "C" Would Appear?

In my jsfiddle I have an application where the user can select an option and their answers and then display it in a new row. I have one slight problem though, I think it will be easier to explain if you follow the steps below in my [fiddle][1]:
1. Open the grid and select option "3". "3" would be displayed in the textbox and buttons "A" to "C" would appear
3. Click on "Add Question" button. This would create a new row showing the details you have submitted.
4. Now click on the "Open Grid" WITHIN THE ROW you have justmcreated and select option "5". Now the textbox within the row changes the value from "3" to "5" but if you look at the top where you first chose your options and answers, it displays 5 buttons from "A" to "E".
This should not happen. This should stay to what it was previously which was buttons "A" to "C". it should only change if the option is chosen from the Option Type at the top and not within the row.
I have a grid of buttons the user can select from by opening the grid and selecting a button. Now if the user selects a button from the grid then it displays buttons "A" to whatever letter depending on the option selected from the grid. Now lets say the user clicks on the "Select All Answers" buttons, all buttons from "A" to whichever button turns green. Now if user decides to select another option from the grid, then what happens is that all the buttons that have been selected turns back to being unselected (turns back to a white color).
I do not want this to happen. If the user clicks a button from the grid then I do not want it to remove all selected buttons underneath, I want it to stay the same as what it was. I want the same if the user changes the value in the "Number of Answers" textbox, I do not want it to turn selected buttons to being unselected.
My mission: Open/collapse TD cells based on items selected in a list box. Getting no response from jQuery so I've done something wrong but cant quite get there. Listbox 'mainselect' contains option values that refer to names of TDs in a table. When a mainselect option is clicked, it will toggle to open or close the referenced TD list box by option value. Does hide/show make a TD 'blank' or actually set it's width to '0'? I want it to close, moving other cells left.
I have a question for flexigrid jquery grid control users.
I am able to display json data returned from my WCF service in my Flexigrid in my application.
The paging toolbar displays correctly and it's clear that the paging toolbar understands how I've configured it.
However, the grid is not actually implementing the paging filter on the data in the grid. For example, the paging toolbar says "Displaying 1 to 10 of 12 items". However, all 12 items are displayed in the grid.
I guess I'm missing a config setting or callback. Any idea what the problem might be?
I just don't see any possibility to change the height of a button. I am developing an application to list many articles. The height of the collapsible buttons/select buttons is therefore to large, i want the buttons to be as small as possible.
I'm using the following code to remove an option from a select control based on a selection in a different select control and the option text in the select option that is being removed. The code works as I want it to, but I would prefer to use the option value for identifying the option to remove instead of using the option text. I've tried several different ways to do this, but can not find the proper syntax.
I am looking to have the user input a word into a textbox then when the user hits an "Add" button, the word is stored to an array and then is displayed in a table. I also want the textbox to clear after the "Add" button is pressed. how to use the autocomplete jQuery plugin best to my needs. I'm looking to replace a select box with the Autocomplete plugin, but not quite sure how to accomplish this. In my select box, I have the option that is displayed is not the same as the data that is submitted. ex: <option value="123">This is Displayed </option> However, with the autocomplete, since it is using a textbox, the values that are displayed, are submitted. Do I have to hack around using hidden fields to accomplish this type of behaviour?
According to [URL] intended way for jQuery to change dynamically the selected option of a dropdown select control isassigningthe desired text instead of the value. I found this way veryinconvenient (data structures usually deal with value codes, not value descriptions) and it seems to work only sometimes.
Trying different options I came out with this approach that seems to do the job so far:

i want to create some radio buttons associated to a textbox, and onchange the radio buttons this would put the value of the radiobutton in the textbox automatically. I.E: Imagine i selected the radio button "Option 1", i want this one to fill the textbox with his value that would be "option1". ___________ __Option1___
I have a form that uses jeditable to edit-in-place several fields and select boxes. Everything is working great. Now I need to a way to add a new option to the select list. What I would like is the user select "Add New..." from the select list that would pop-up a dialog window where several fields are filled in. When the form is saved the select field is updated with the new ID and description. I use Facebox for pop-up windows to display notes when the user clicks on a topic. I know Facebox can be used to display a form. It would be ideal to use this ability when creating a new option for the select box.
my only issue is whenever 1st time it checks the record if found record it display message Record Found but whenever i try to change my textbox value it still gives me this message. it does not get reset if record not found.
What happens is the user selects the number of buttons depending on the number entered in the text box. If the number is 3 in the text box, then the user can only select 3 buttons, if more buttons are selected then it comes with an alert message saying user is beyond limit deselect a button to be able to choose another button.
But these are the problems I have encounted: If I type in "2" in the textbox for example, it allows me to select 2 buttons and comes up with alert if more buttons clicked.
problem 1: but if I change the figure in text box from "2" to "5", then it only allows me to select 3 buttons (I think it is adding 2 from the previous value and 3 to make the current value 5)
problem 2: If I enter a value less than current value, so in this example if I enter in 1 in the textbox which is obviously less than 2, then it lets the user select unlimited number of buttons.
So does anyone know how to fix these problems so that the amount of buttons selected matches correctly to the value in the textbox?
I am trying to set a radio button by a textbox value and also have the radio button be able to set the textbox. So the user can either select a radio button or enter in the text. Is there a simple way to make this happen? Here is what I have so far, which sets the radio button value in the text box. setting the textbox value to the radio button.

This is hopefully my last jquery question. I have a slight issue with my buttons and dropdown menu. What happens is lets say user chooses option type "ABCDE" in first dropdown menu and then second dropdown menu chooses the value "4" for the number of answers and then clicks on the buttons "A","B","C" and "E", well if the user then decides to change the option type to "ABC", the buttons "A", "B" and "C" are still selected from the last time they have been selected.
What I want is that if the Option Type (OptionDropId) changes, then buttons selected is refreshed so no buttons are selected from the last time they have been selected.
This did used to work but when I included my change() event handler in my code which I need, the buttons do not refresh whenever a new dropdown option (OptionDropId) is selected. So I think the edit of the code may need to happen in the code below:

I have two select areas and scripts to transfer items between the two. Everything works great in FF, but in IE when an option gets removed it removes the entire select area. Has anyone ever seen something like this before?
I have a dropdown box which should display an appropriate text box only when a particualar option is selected. Currently, the textboxes are displayed all the time. I do have a Javascript function that works for 2 options(hides always and displays only when the correct option is selected). But I need it to work for 3 options. Here is the code.
