JQuery :: Reading Textbox Value In New Window?

I have an array of textboxes each having button on right side which when pressed the text should be displayed on new window using Jquery. For demo, you might have seen jquery lightbox plugin which shows the images in the new window. I want exactly same but instead of images i want to show the text value of the text box when its button is pressed.
You also see this when you sign in on daniweb.com, you see a new small window when "sign in" button is pressed.

I need to to open a survey page to users who has not anwseredthe survey yet.The survey is in the same domain / path than the main page.If users has allredy anwsered the survey, the page opens with title "Error" and there is error message in the body.I can open the new window from the main page, but I do not know if it is possible to read the title or document content of the new window.I can not edit the survey page to put code there.f I could determine with an if question, did the survey page open to the survey or the error page,then I could close the page or close the main page to bring the survey on top.Is this possible to do?

I am trying to setup a textbox to only accept specific keys. The problem is, some of the Function keys are reading as the same values as letters.Ex.
112 - F1 - p
113 - F2 - q
114 - F3 - r[code]....
Is there another way to allow the function keys without enabling all matching letters as well?

Below is the script and form fields I am working with. What I want to do is sum the two textbox fields and have the result show in the total textbox. The code works fine and the total textbox is updated with the value of form1.basic. The problem occurs when I add the "+ parseInt(document.form2.supporter.value)" code in the script section.

I have these two pages which I want to link...the index.html is the main page. I want the list.html page to pop up when names is clicked..Then I want to be able to select all or some of the name from the list.html page and inset into the textbox on the index.html page, separated by commas with the list.html closing on insert. hope my ambition is clear enough...

I have an input element (textbox) on a webpage, and capture the onblur event of the input (textbox) control to do validation. My problem is that when the page is closed or the user click on another window the onblur event of my textbox gets called too.
I need the onblur event handler to be called only when the textbox loses focus b/c another element on the SAME webpage gets focus, but not when the user clicks on another window or closes the browser window.

i have a form that will pass the value of a child window listbox choices to a parent window, and also the hidden value (via a variable) of the choices in the child window listbox will appears also in the parent window textbox when i hit the submit button in the child window, and the values of the listbox are taken from a acess database, the form works very well, except when i added the following line to my child window: PHP Code:

the hidden value in the listbox of child window wont appear in the textbox in the parent window, when i added the above line.
the above line function as a filtering to my list in the child window, and it is the main part of my code. when i removed the above line, the passing of values to parent window will works fine, except that the filtering function will not work anymore, but i want it both to work, but have no luck. Actually this is the same like the pop-up calendar but the only difference is I don't want numbers, I need a list of options so user can choose and when they select, it will transfer to the textbox right away like the calendar. I have a form and trying to use a pop-up window to select an option then transfer the option selected to show on the textbox. I have 10 textboxes and all of them has a "Select" button to pop-up the option list. BTW, the "SELECT" button will populate the same option list.

In my grid each row has a twin row (not consecutive) the rows each have 1 text box with a name containing txtAmt. When a user enters a value in the text box in a row. I need to put that value in the text box in the twin row. i got the blur function to work on each text box but do not know how to do the rest. I typed a description of the selector in each $().

I have two textbox columnsof equal length they are accessed in the following manner:
taborder 1
taborder 2 taborder 3 taborder 4 taborder 5 taborder 6 taborder 7 taborder 8
When I leave the first textbox (taborder 1), I need to check and see if the textbox contains avalue. If it does, then I need to check and see if the second textbox (taborder 2)contains a value. If it doesNOT, then I need to loadthe second textboxwith "100" and highlight (select) the text. I am adding a blur event to all the column one textboxes as they all contain"rawCount" in the id. Here is my blur event code:

I create a cookie which contains a font size. My page content increases or decreases in size on each click event of the links that trigger a function. I have round this value up so it is always an integer value and store it inside a cookie called 'fontSize'.
I am using the following code to set the font size of the page that is loaded to be set at the value of the cookie but it never works, my page font size always reverts back to the standard font size set in my style sheet.
I am using the same code below to change the background colour of the web page and this works fine!

I think this is just me being dim - but would value someone pointing out what I am doing wrong. I have a form, I want to pass the values from this form to another page via a .get call. Here is a short version of the form data:

My problem is that whatever the status of the checkbox "subscribe" it is always passed in the .get call as having the value "on". What do I need to do to pass the actual value of the checkbox in the call?

I am doing a lottery project in which i have 10 textbox and i want to add contents of each textbox and show result in another textbox say 11th textbox.
I am having the fallowing codes below on jsp page.
I want to add contents of textbox from(n50,n51.....n59) and show result in another textbox named (n60)
My question is that the valus stored in textbox is numeric and when i enter the value in any two of the textbox say named (n50 and n51) then the addition of its value must be seen in the result textbox say (n60) here. it does not wait for another textbox value which is left blank. the result of addition should be displayed simelteneously as i enter the value in text box.

I'm trying to read (and then change) the text on two buttons in my
user interface:
<button class="primary approve">Approve selected</button>
<button class="primary reject">Reject selected</button>
Now depending on how many checkboxes (elsewhere) are selected, I want to change the text to something like "Approve 4 selected" I'm tried in vain to acess:

console.log( $('this').html() );//fails
});
and for completeness sake I also tried $(this).value -- but of course it returns the .value attribute of the button. 2 questions: How do I access the text and change it?
