After the apply button is clicked, the data entered by the user disappeared in the text form. How to keep the data appearing on the text form? The server use jsp and the Spring framework and the client use the Prototype javascript library.

I am trying to make it so that the style "RowSelected" (embedded below) is applied to the table row from which the radio button is selected, and then removed when a different radio button is clicked.
Right now, the below code kinda works. The javascript was copied from an example on a website from which I forgot the URL. It only applies the style properties to the label text, and not to the row. Code:
I currently have a script that dynamically adds a css class called "on" to a menu item once it is selected, turning that link red to show that it's active. Here is the web page: [URL] As you can see, if you click on "Dimmer" or "Pol Pot's Birthday", or one of the three Patriotville scene links (1, 2, or 3), those links stay red. But what I need to happen is that when the user hovers over OR clicks on "1", "2", or "3", the word "Patriotville" also turns red along with those links. Here is the current code:
/**/ var Lst; function CngClass(obj){ if (Lst) Lst.className=''; obj.className='on'; Lst=obj; [Code]...
I am attempting to do two things and I'm missing a vital element: ajax call to an XML file to be inserted onto a page, FOLLOWED by selecting these newly created elements to apply event handlers on them. I am near certain that the problem is that the selectors are not 'seeing' these elments and it's an issue of running the event handler only AFTER these elements have been loaded.
How do you do this? I already have a $(document).ready(function() { in order which I naively thought would take care of this exact issue...
I'm having an issue with adding hyperlinks on images. Please see example below. Without hyperlink on images. [URL]. With hyperlink on images. [URL]. Why the descriptions under the images have disappeared with the hyperlinks on the images?
I'm trying to grab values from a set of arrays based on the value returned by my select box.
**Caveat - this is not an area I have any real experience with**
My arrays look like:
Code JavaScript:
I then need to test for each, then associate with one of my fees arrays, then grab each of the values in the array and write those values to elements within my page.
I'm then doing this to evaluate for each degree
Code JavaScript:
I need to first figure out how best to import all of these 60+ arrays and then in each of my conditions pull out each value and write to my page.
There is a unique 1 to 1 relationship between each degree and array so I can't consolidate as the values for each degree differ slightly.
I am really new to coding and am trying to include a flowchart that I have created on my site. There is a series of 5 questions with 2 possible answers for each question. Can anyone help me with some coding that would let me show only the first question and based on how they answer that, the flow chart would open up to the second question and once they answer the second question, it opens up to the third question and so on?
I have a simple requirement, I have a list of URLs on a page, I want that when the user clicks on any one URL, then a text box on the same page is filled with some data. The data to be filled in is specific for each URL.
Does anybody know of a way to make the below input box contain text when the page is initially loaded, but that disapears when the box is clicked to allow for user input?
Quote: function emptyTitle() { if (document.getElementById('title').value=='Enter the Title for Your Post') {[code]......
However, the text that appears is black. How do I style it to make it gray and smaller?
I have a problem with adding new inputs to a form (if and when required),Internet Explorer is fine but in Firefox if any previous input fields are filled when the more button is clicked they get reset to blank.JS:

it a .net app, in my client javascript code I would like to find out what event caused the page to validate. No, setting a hidden this or that will not do. I just want to know what event caused the validation.
I have a listing of records on a page and an "Edit" button for each record. I want to write some jquery that fires when the button is clicked to go to the edit page for the record whose button I clicked. Here is what I have.
I need the letter button (the letters of the alphabet) to disappear when clicked, but reappear when hangman game restarts (by clicking start over button). How do I do this?
I'm trying to get a button to display a loader.gif before executing verify.php, with perhaps a 2 second delay! I have minimal knowledge on the subject, so please forgive any lack of understanding or error's, But from what i have learnt, and pieced together so far, here is what i have
If you have a collection of submit buttons on one page, and an OnSubmit event fired on the Form, how can you find out the ID of the button clicked, triggering the form submit? Code:
I have the save button. When Save button is clicked which I presently configured like "
I need to write the code so that when the save button is clicked, I need to set the form variable in savemethod() so that I can use that variable later in the code. After it sets the variable to something(either integer or true), I will write something like this [code]...
I have a form with 2 radio buttons (ACCEPT/REJECT). When the page is initially loaded, no textbox should be visible.
When a user clicks the REJECT radio button, a textbox should automatically appear below the radiobutton where the user can motivate why he chose the reject option (which we require).
When the user clicks the ACCEPT radio button, the textbox should not appear because we don't need motivations for accept actions.
Does someone have a clue if and how I can realize this in JavaScript?
