I have a table with images in the cells. I'm using JSFX_ImageZoom.js to zoom, that works fine. The problem is if I don't define absolute positions for my images then when zoomed the rest of the page gets garbled. If I do define absolute positions then the zoomed image is "under" the surrounding images. Code:

I can figure out the rollover but i can't get it to stay. Example, rollover the red box and the headband changes from black to red, roll off and it remains red. [url]

I'm currently in the process of stripping down their code to the bare minimum so I could try to understand how this can be done and then make my own. But this could potentially take a lot more time than needed. Are there any tutorials that I could read on this, instead?

I am trying to make different images hover over a table of sliced images when you mouse over a particular image. ex. mouse over image 1 = have image 1.1 hover over entire table of images in spot A; mouse over image 2 = have image 2.2 hover over entire table of images in spot B....ect. what i have so far only allows me to mouse over image 1 and have image 1.1 hover over entire table in spot A. Any time i try to move forward with more div's on other images it just jacks everything up.

We are currently re-working a client's website and as I am not a javascript programmer I am having trouble understanding some of the code, and need help understanding why a certain variable in the code remains undefined.
What is happening is that the user is filling in 24 lines of 4 select boxes, in which there must be 1 and only one "m" and 1 and only 1 "l". The code changes the value of the box back to blank if the user has tried to enter >1 of either. The code then should check the line number and count the number of lines, but on debugging I see that the value of variables el and LineNo are undefined. I can't understand why when the function is called, the value "this" is used. i.e CheckLine(this) - this appears to have no value in the html code as far as I can see!

I have a page that contains PHP and Javascript. I have a table of results, with two grouping stages:
- Month, Year1
- ProjectID1
- Job ID1
- Job ID2
- ProjectID2
- Job ID1
- Month, Year2
- ProjectID3
- Job ID1
- ProjectID4
- Job ID1
The problem is that when the ProjectID row is opened to display the JobID row, then close the Month, Year row, the JobID row remains visible.

i used setTimeout() function in my image gallery to scroll images , i used setTimeout("myfunction()",1) in my script. Now my image gallery is working properly but problem is that the speed of scrolling images if normal in firefox, but in internet explorer it is slow, and in google chrome it is very fast , Sir how to resolve this problem

I created an accordian menu which includes categories, sub categories and sub sub categories. Once you hover(css) on one of the menu options there is a hovering effect. What i would like to achieve now is that once a menu option is chosen that option remains highlighted (:active) until another menu option is chosen.

I changed the 'body onload' html tag to window.onload as I'm using two different javascripts on this page and I don't want them to conflict.I've also added initLightbox() so I don't know what's wrong! "Imagex" is a Box and the 1a-3a changes pattern. The other 1b-8b
changes color. SO it should be possible to first change pattern, then
change color on the pattern u choosed before.
Is it possible to merge several images into one image. Then get image that was combined into one and save it as if it were 1 image alone.

I am rotating images at one location of my web site. My problem is if I set the width and height of the new image before I show the new image, the old image is stretched first to the new image dimensions, and if I show the new image before setting its dimensions, the new image is stretched first to the old image dimension before it is adjusted to its own dimension. I would like to load a new image with its own dimension at the same time. How can I do this?

Live example: [URL] It's a image slideshow that dynamically gets all the images (via php) in the current directory and puts them into the slideshow array. The array then randomly displays the images in the slideshow (via javascript). There are 5 images in the folder rotateimage which also has the php script getimages.php in it. Currently only the first image fades in however I want all the images to fade in as the first one does.

I can't figure out how to place a random image from a set of 5 images to appear in the background of that div when it is rolled over again.

2. When email address entered then user can click on one "best" and one "worst" image, when clicked on others in section change opacity with css.
3. When clicked on a message appears "thanks for your vote" above the section and it makes an ajax call to a PHP file that registers the vote.

I have an image gallery on the top-left. It is the kind where you click on a thumbnail and a larger image shows up.What would I need to do to make it so it would show a loading image WHILE the picture is loading?
