Function To Manage Color Bars?

I got 3 sections on the site, at the bottom of each are 5 bars which are used to change the text color. I'm trying to minimize the code, so I created an array which contains all the colors, but I'm not sure where to put the call to the array. If I put it in the for loop, the selected color will always be green no matter which color you click. The bars should also go up to 40px when clicked and when the next bar is clicked the current bar at 40px should go back to it's originals size(20px)

How can I fixed the size of the page to desired width and length and also make that page fixed to that size so that it cannot resized.
And also I want to disable all bars(scrollbars, menubars, address bars etc) for the page.
I am using these codes for my projects and these are for commercial purpose. I am also asking for to use these codes for my projects.

Ok so I have a site that I want to automatically close the window when the focus is lost from the page. For example, if the user clicks off the page to something else on there desktop I want the page to close. So far I have managed to do this but the grids on my page and the scroll bars all trigger the close function when clicked on. Is there anyway to make the scroll bars and drop down boxes not trigger the function?

I load a static page, inside this page there are links like this:

how to manage the script scope on a full ajax application Let me explain a scenario
- Pages are loaded dynamically in a div,
- pages are php files
- pages contains scripts tags (static and generated via php) depending on

Load Scenario :
1. master page load pages via $.load jquery function
2. page are inserted and the script is executed (mostly input events or live events)
when i select another page (just imagine a combo with all pages listed), the Load Scenario is executed again... the 2 js code line that matter in the master page

I am trying to modify with jQuery the content of a child window but for an unknown reason it does not work. I would be gratefull if someone may explain what (how) happend. Here is my code:

What I expect (you should already have understood) is a new div to be appended to my child window body. The div (and its text) is effectively inserted (in new child's window) but then disappears in the process. Once I look at the generated code, the div is not in child's DOM.

I used to use this function in text fading routines (tooltips/message tickers) but now I tend to use opacity (which is not compatible with all browsers but I find it more flexible as it allows images, URLs any style sheets). The function returns a color "between" 2 colors.

I want to change the color of a button when it is clicked and have added this getElementById line in the function called by onclick but when I add the line the function won't run. The function also contains AJAX to change the button content but everything else is working fine as long as I don't add this line.

What's happening is when I click on "test", it does show the alert but it does not go to the 4th slide. Instead, It acts as if it was the first call, therefore the slideshow starts again from the 1st slide with the default options.

I have a function that does some calculations and populates some text fields with the results. I also have a function that changes the font color of the numbers to red if they are less than zero. What I dont have is a way to make them work together. I imagine I need to pass the results of the calculation function to the change color function, but not sure how to go about doing that. Is there any way to lock down the menu bars? I currently have a form that was created in Adobe Professional. I have hidden the menu bars on initial view of this form, in an effort to force the sales associates to use buttons that I created that will show them all fields that are required. This worked for a while, but now the sales associates have found out how to unhide the menu bars and are again submitting incomplete forms. I would like to have something in place, that if they do unhide the menu bars, there are certain commands that they cannot use (i.e. Attach to E-mail). Is there any way to put script on this form that will gray out certain commands on the menu bars?

I having a wrapper DIV (certain width say 400px) and i have some child DIVS which i want to add to it. And i want it to have a maximum height of 600px say.
I DONT want the wrapper DIV to have vertical scroll bars so i would like to add as many child DIVS (which contain text of indiscriminant length) until i can somehow detect that the wrapper has overflowed (ie the scrollbars have been implemented !) if it has then remove the last one and dynmically create a new DIV, and continue the cyclw until exhausted of child DIVS. I am looking for a Javascript Datagrid that will populate based on database driven data, but also allows the data in the list to scroll sepereately from the Header. This is so I can allow users to sort data without making another database call on each sort.
For instance, I have used this Javascript and it looks and works great, except the header scrolls with the data....

That works great with dynamic database data....but the header dissapears when using a scroll bar.
I am looking for something that works like this, but is not ajax and does not query the database with each sort. [url]
See how the data scrolls, but the header stays put? The pagination onthat example is not needed and in fact I would rather it didn't have that capability.
I want that functionality, but with Javascript.

I want to use a timed function (with setInterval()) in order to change the color off the chars in a word. I use jQuery fadeOut() and fadeIn() effects.
In Firefox this works good, but in IE 6 don´t... the last char didn´t appear ! The code is:

I have created this chatroom using php and scriptaculous but I am stuck with a tiny issue which I believe is only solvable using Javascript.
I have attached 2 screen shots. 1.jpg is what I get at the moment and 2.jpg is what I want to get.
As you see when somebody sends message and the messages exceed pages size, the scroll bars appear, I need the scroll bar to be the oposite direction (down to top) like yahoo or msn or any other chat room.
