Eliminate Iframe, But Still Search 2nd Html File?

I've painted myself into a corner, and I can't use any server-side solutions.
With some help, I've been working on a script on x.html that searches for a specific "image Y" within "Y.html" (inside an iframe). Then the script replaces the "Image x" url to the url of "image Y".
It drills through a specific div, to a specific span, to find this image Y. I have it this way, because it's a pre-built content management system that hasn't given me the ability to show the image on another page. I need to do this several times on one html file, so I'm running into huge load times, and there seem to be numerous clashes with servers and locking up. So I'm hoping there's a way to just avoid iframes and achieve the same result.

I have one html-file where the user inserts a search path for an excel file. When the user clicks the button the data in the excel file should be presented in a <TABLE>. (Yeah, I know, activex only works in IE .. but that's good enough for this project)
The problem is .. I started out with a "fixed" search path for the excel file, so I didn't have the code in a function. That worked just fine. Once I added the function {} around the code it wouldn't work, it works just fine if I comment out the form-part and the function-part, and give the search path, of course.
It also works just fine if I use the function and form, but remove the <TABLE>- and <TR>-rows

We are integrating a IDX feed and I can not figure out a line of code.Currently when you click the link it goes to their site with the result we want. We want it to go to our site, just like "search homes," does.I believe it is simple but my HTML is even simpler. The link should just point to a wrap page.... but I dont know how to do that.

On my site I have a switch and JQuery fade in fade out when I click on 'Updates' or 'Projects'. Problem is that if I have scrolled down the page a little before clicking one of them, the page jumps back to top on clicking these options. I would like to eliminate that jump to the top.

I would like to syndicate content from one website to sections withing many other websites.
So far I've been using iframe but the problem is that the content presented on these websites is not indexed hence does not improve SEO.
A server-side implementation is an option but it requires more time-consuming integration each time the content is changing.

On my homepage (index.html), I have a search field which fires the users input (text) parameters off to another website to perform the search (ie. results.html). What I'm now trying to do is create an iframe on index.html which shows the search results on the same page (without the user having to visit the other website. Does anyone know if this is possible using javascript?
The reason behind this is so that we can use the search on our old website on our new one... without having to re-invent the wheel.

I used this little code to replace some content with jquery:

This works fine, but i'd like to eliminate the id attribute from script tag. I tried $(this).replaceWith('Duma'), and $(this).parent().replaceWith('Duma'), but neither works.

I'm pretty much lost at javascript, and unfortunately can use php to accomplish this, so here goeI have existing html page that includes a Week #. ie, 1, 2, 3, 5.... and so on.I'd like to be able to have a text, csv, or similar file that I can update on frequent basis that will list a Week # and than custom field of some type. I'm building a webpage using javascript and iframes. Basically I have an iframe in the middle of the index.html page that links to another html page (let's call it iframe.html). My question is, is it possible to call a javascript function from iframe.html to control an object on index.html? If so, how do I do this? I'd like to be able to assign an image in iframe.html with the hyperlink of href="javascript:function()", where the function effects the CSS of a div on index.html.

I am designing a dynamic web form, and all works fine except that I can’ t eliminate the ‘blank’ spaces that appears between the form elements when these are displayed or hidden. I mean for example, the long blank space that appears between the form submit button and the table rows displayed, because the other tables and form elements are hidden.
I attached the complete sample page so that you can see the ‘blank’ spaces I want to eliminate. These are the 'blank' spaces I want to eliminate:
1. When the page loads, a long blank space appears between the submit button and the table rows displayed.
2. When you select only the ‘Quality B’ checkbox, a long blank space appears between the ‘Product details’ title and the table rows displayed.
3. When you select both ‘Quality A’ and ‘Quality B’ checkboxes, a blank space appears between the table rows displayed. I want a blank space there, but smaller.
In all the cases I want the submit button just below (with a little blank space) the table rows displayed.

I got an [object error] from IE 7.0.5730.11 when moving the <script
src="..." type="text/javascript" /tag from the <headpart to the
<bodysection of a HTML file.
Is not possibile to include Javascript code via <script src="..."
type="text/javascript" /from the <bodysection, instead from the
<headone? If yes, anyone has any idea of which the problem could be?

I wanna send a file thru the JQuery.load, I want it to work exactly like the regular post without the JQuery. So I can check the $_FILES['file']['error'] in PHP and all its features like I do without using JQuery.

I have a .js file, we want to make it to load a html file right next to it, both files are on client system. I couldn't find any such examples and some posts talked about JavaScript security issues, I wonder if it is related to what I want.
Someone said .js file is not really JaveScript file, though Microsoft named it 'JavaScript'.
note that I am trying to "call" .html file from the .js file, not embed html code in .js.

I came across a very odd browser behavior when trying to modify a css class using javascript and at the same time having a base html statement in my html file.Without the base html statement, all browsers work fine and I can change the css class definition using javascript easily.With a base html statement, only FireFox still works while Internet Explorer and Google Chrome dont work anymore. If there is a cross-domain issue, while one browser does work and the others dont? An example of what I'm talking about, with the base statement:
