I have found lots of example of right click menu's about but i was wondering if it was possible to have it display one of the right click menus on left clicking a <a href link possibly more than 1 in the same page. I have tried just simple voiding the values with the onclick and lots of other ways with no success.

I have 9 select menus that are populated by a php for loop. Each has a numeric value that is displayed base on the selection (which I have working).I can not figure out how to sum all of these values and display them in a <div> tag.what I have thus far:

I'm using ul, li tags to create drop down menus. The images in my main nav bar change when mousing over the images. When I move the mouse over an image and go down to the links that appear in the drop downs, the image changes back to what it was before I moused over it.
Does anyone know of a javascript that will display the mousoever image in the main nav bar while mousing over the links in the drop-down menu?

This way I can have a large delay and just tell people to close the menu by clicking outside the menu, which will improve greatly the usability of the menu.

The <div> (id='name') is displayed if nothing is entered and the user clicks submit, however if the user then enters a value into the text field, and re-submits, the <div> still appears.
I am building a jurisdiction calculator for issues on/off Indian reservations. I'd like the user to select 3 variables (radio buttons would also work) - whether the victim is Indian/Non, the perpetrator is Indian/Non, and whether the crime occurred On/Off a reservation and have a div that displays the possible jurisdiction outcomes based on the selections.For instance, if the user selects Victim: Non-Indian, Perp: Indian, Location: On reservation, the possible jurisdiction results would appear.

i got a website with frames.
The main frame contains two frames 'top' and 'bottom'.
Now I have an iframe inside the bottom frame. And it is linked to an external website. However, I wish to disable clicking on any of its links (both right and left) inside the iframe.
I've to simulate right mouse click with left mouse click only in a specified class.
I thought that I've to do something like this:

Love this menu. This menu will be appearing in module on right hand side of page. So I need the submenu to display on left, not right. So how to make this a right to left menu? I've played around a bit and have had no luck yet. I've used the navbar on another site and I'd really like to use this vertical menu too.

View 1 Replies View RelatedOn a page I display a link of search results which are hyperlinks, which all have the same URL get paramaters with different values (i.e. companyreport.aspx?....). I want to then click on a search result hyperlink and then generate a Div popup (this is called through a javascript call that is attached to each search result hyperlink's onClick property.
For the hyperlink that is clicked, I need to take its 'href' value and use it (reason for us is in a bit).
On the popped up Div element is a dropdown box and two buttons (accept / decline). Once the accept button is pressed, I want to then go to the page the selected hyperlink was pointing to by using the 'href' value I obtain from the clicked search hyperlink and to also append to this hyperlink the a new GET parameter and the value of the dropdown box.
I have got this to work currently but it seems quite mess, so was wondering if there is a better solution to this.

The click works fine. Check the checkbox, the hidden div displays. But when I uncheck the checkbox, I want it to go away.
I'm trying to display an alert message (a div with text) that fades in, and after 6 seconds fades out automatically. That's easy, but I also want to allow the user to close the div by clicking on it if they so desire. The problem is, the delay() function overrides the click, or so it seems -- clicking does nothing unless I remove the delay().
