I want the background color to be #0f3559. But whenever I add this to the script it disables the buttons I have included. Also, I would like to have just one "Show/Hide" button that does both functions rather than 2 seperate.
I am trying to display testimonials on my website in an iframe. This way I can utilize the scrolling feature if needed and keep the page from changing sizes due to the length of the testimonial. I can also change the testimonials order and content easily. I am trying to make a "next" and "previous" button that will sit on the main page (not in the iframe) and cycle through the testimonials. However I am having trouble with this as I am trying to use an array. This is my current code for the Next button. The idea is to check to see if the testimonial is on the last document. If so display the first testimonial in the array. "Else" change to the next testimonial in the array.
var myTests=new Array(); myTests[0]="test001.html"; myTests[1]="test002.html"; myTests[2]="test003.html"; var numTests = myTests.length; var curTests = 0 function nextTests() { if (curTest <= numTests) document.getElementById("testFrame").src=myTests(1); else document.getElementById("testFrame").src=myTests[0]; } Then I am using a simple button to call the function "onclick" <button type="button" onclick="nextTests()">next</button>
I am working on this page - [URL]. When you click the Filter By buttons it alters the content of the iframe below it. This works fine in ALL browsers. However, when you click the browser "back" button it should return to the previous clicked Filter By button (and therefore the previous clicked iframe content). This works fine in every browser except Safari. In Safari it just returns to the previous full page (for instance, if I was viewing google before I went to my page and clicked the iframe buttons, it returns to google rather than the previous iframes).
I'm new to programming and I was wondering if someone could show me how to make a timer, so that when a checkbox has been submitted, that checkbox will be disabled until the timer has reached 0, when the timer reaches 0 I would like the timer to enable the checkbox again.
Hope I have explained enough so someone could possibly show me a way of doing this.
I am using superfish for the first time and I have a relatively low level of HTML/CSS/JS knowledge.Whenever I include the line <script src="js/superfish.js" type="text/javascript"></script> in my HTML, it will disable all links on my website and when I click on the link, it does nothing, it doesn't even give me a 404 page not found error.Whenever I take the line <script src="js/superfish.js" type="text/javascript"></script> out, all of my links work fine. I have not altered superfish.js at all from the default file.
I have 5 radio buttons and 1 text field. 4 radio buttons have different money value and the text field is a fill in. I am wanting to clear and disable the text field and its radio button when a different radio button is chosen. Here is the code I am using.
My script works ok in IE but not in firefox.Basically i have a dropdown list that onclick adds the values to a textarea field on same page. It works ok if you just select from the dropdown to begin.However as soon as you press a key with the cursor in focus of the textarea it disables the further addition from the dropdown.This doesn't happen in IE so it's probably a syntax error.'m new to all this and i search the internet to build the scripts by trial and error -this is my way of learning. Anyway here is the code;avascript:
function test(){ document.getElementById('taid').innerHTML+=document.getElementById ('selid').value;
I have a fairly straightforward form with validation on a number of fields, all of which is working fine.
I have credit card information fields being validated only if a Payment Method radio button is set to 'Visa' or 'Mastercard', and this is also working correctly.
These input names don't appear anywhere else in the HTML document and they're not validated fields, however if either of them are checked, the conditional credit card validation no longer fires, although the remaining non-conditional validation on the page continues to work as normal.
EDIT: It would appear that if *any* of the radio buttons on the form are selected, the payment information validation is disabled.
I'm at a loss as to explain what's happening. I'm leaning towardsinput[#payment_method]:checked syntax, and specifically the :checked syntax as potentially causing the issue
I have 10 buttons on a page, and 10 more "onmouseover buttons" that correlate to the first set. Each button or onmouseover button is only 1-2KB! But I can still hold the mouse over a button for a couple seconds until it loads the onmouseover button. I'm using javascript to have the buttons change. The page does load a 2MB video. Could that be the cause? Can I tell it to load the buttons first somehow?
I just don't see any possibility to change the height of a button. I am developing an application to list many articles. The height of the collapsible buttons/select buttons is therefore to large, i want the buttons to be as small as possible.
It is supposed be just 2 different lines of changing buttons. I was planning to use the "+" and "-" buttons to add/subtract button lights from a column. Unless I did something wrong, I think it should work, but it doesn't... Why?
what i need to do to add all the radio botton and check box. i already finish the add formula on the checkbox but i do not know how to add the two selected radio buttons to my checkbox buttons.for example:
What happens is the user selects the number of buttons depending on the number entered in the text box. If the number is 3 in the text box, then the user can only select 3 buttons, if more buttons are selected then it comes with an alert message saying user is beyond limit deselect a button to be able to choose another button.
But these are the problems I have encounted: If I type in "2" in the textbox for example, it allows me to select 2 buttons and comes up with alert if more buttons clicked.
problem 1: but if I change the figure in text box from "2" to "5", then it only allows me to select 3 buttons (I think it is adding 2 from the previous value and 3 to make the current value 5)
problem 2: If I enter a value less than current value, so in this example if I enter in 1 in the textbox which is obviously less than 2, then it lets the user select unlimited number of buttons.
So does anyone know how to fix these problems so that the amount of buttons selected matches correctly to the value in the textbox?
I want my radio buttons to become submit buttons as well. So when a user clicks on a radio button it submits the action and refreshes the page accordingly. As of now using only using onclick="this.form.submit()" the page only refreshes with no change. Here is a copy of the entire form. It is a custom shipping options form (I did not create it).
I then loop thru the array to assign the text and bind the click event after having created the buttons with IDs of "button_<index>".
for( var index in buttons ) { $("#button_"+index).html ( buttons[index].text ) .click( function() { clickButton( buttons[index].action ) } ); }
The text appears correctly in the button, but every button defined only fires the list bound click, in this example the action equal to'2'whether I push "Button 1" or "Button 2".My actual case has four buttons, all firing the event for the fourth button.I've tried not chaining the .click(), going thru the loop twice once for the .html and once for the .click, neither of which made a difference. If I hard code each button .click, it works fine.
I'm trying to create a questionnaire style series of radio buttons which are hidden and then a different set of radio buttons displayed depending on the previous answer. eg
Q1 Is it a man? (if select yes then display)
Q2 Is he called John? (if no then display)
Q3 Is he called Gary? and so on...
I've been testing using the code below but wondered if anyone had any ideas on how this could be done easily?
I'd like to resize an iframe into which different (same domain) pages of differing heights are loaded. I can do a first-time resize no problem. It's the subsequent reloads that need to pass back their height to the parent page There seem to be lots of solutions for that around, but few I can see for resizing each time the iframe reloads. One is described here on another board [URL] but unfortunately the test page is no longer around (or indeed the site), so the full code is no longer available there. This one works, almost, for me: [URL] it does resize for me, but not quite sufficiently high each time - about 90% of what is required: [URL] Is there a way to add on sufficient extra margin that scrollbars no longer appear?
Is there a way to resize an iframe dynamically so that you never get the scroll bar and essentially hide that there is an iframe? Better integration really.Basically I want to iframe a forum into my site so that the design down the sides and top which my friend does using iweb are not messed with.We have a central area which can be longer or shorter depending on the forum.
I have a page A and inside it I have an iframe B. B points to another php file that shows a form (so basically in the iframe we see a form). When I submit the form, I call to another page C that verifies the fields of the form and if they are ok I redirect to page X, if not I redirect to page Y. The problem is that I see page X and Y inside the iframe, and I want to see them in the parent page.
