AddField - Align Top And Center Of A Page Regardless Or Orientation?
Nov 5, 2010
I need to add a form field to be on the top - centered on the page regardless if the page is portiat or landscape. Is this possible? Everything works like a Charm with the exception of the alignment on the different page orientation - Here is what I have so far:
// add form field to each page of the PDF for (var pageNumber = 0; pageNumber < this.numPages; pageNumber++) { var dateStamp = this.addField("DateStamp","text",pageNumber,[450,770,155,790]); dateStamp.textSize=10; dateStamp.textColor=color.red;} this.setAction("WillPrint", "var today = new Date(); var current_hour = today.getHours(); var current_minute = today.getMinutes(); this.getField('DateStamp').value = "Valid 24 Hours From Printed Date... " + util.printd("dd/mmm/yyyy",new Date()) + " " + current_hour + ":" + current_minute;");
I'm trying to set the align property/attribute of an IFrame to center but its not working (see below). Can anyone please tell me what's going on, and if there's a work around for this?
i have a long vertical page 9000px wide. each page "area" is 1500px wide. overflow is hidden.
1. when a link is clicked to scroll to the next page area i.e. click "next" and the page scrolls to x=1500px and the edge of the page aligns with the viewports 0,0 coordinates. as you would get in flash.
2. when you hover the mouse over an area to the right of the viewport the page scrolls to the right, when you hover to the left likewise.
I have absolutely positioned left-aligned elements that I'm attempting to center with javascript.The page briefly shifts to the left when the page is loaded before it centers the page.(I realize that this goal could be achieved with CSS alone but I am hoping for a cure for this javascript solution for now.)The javascript that I'm using is common.js, the onload command is positionPage(); and the div is DivLayout.I don't know if I need to adjust the div, javascript or both.how I can correct the shifting issue?Here is the link to view my issue: http:/tiny.cc/test176
Below is the javascript code: window.onresize=positionPage; String.prototype.trim = function() { return this.replace(/^s+|s+$/, ''); };[code]...........
I'm designing a web page, Having a banner on top, then a search option following it.There is a menu item list below it on to the left.And the content of the links of those menu item should get loaded in the center of the page.And a footer having some copyright info.All these are in div tags. The problem is when i click on any menu item it should be loaded in the center div tag.Ive tried using Iframes but there is a scrollbar coming only in that area of center div tag.I don't wan't this to happen.Based on the size of the html page to be loaded the div tag size should increase, and so the whole page.Have tried using Ajax but not working.
I managed to smooth out the animations on this page here. However, I'm unsure on how to get the Javascript script (here) to center the first page as well. You'll notice when you click on the main menu items, the script will center the elements on the page, just not at the start.
function toggle_visibility(id) { var e = document.getElementById(id); if(e.style.display == 'block')[code]....
and I do the return false to stop the thing from jumping all over the place, but where i click next, the page scrolls down to center on that point, which is really annoying. How do I stop it?
I have two javascript elements (banners) within a div that I would like to style side by side. What is the best way to style javascript for image one to align left and image 2 to align right? And will this work across all browsers?[code]
how to center a new page window when click.. I have this java script below but it appears on top left. I want it to appear center of the screen on even in different resolution!
I have 2000px width images that I want to be centered in a 100% width slideshow. I basically want my images to cover the entire width of the page, and also be centered.
Nothing has worked for me. No matter what I do, my images get pushed to the right and far off from the center.

We have to set up a page that when you input the center and radius of two circles it will tell you whether they are inside one another or overlapping or not. Here is what I have so far...
I'm making an HTML5 web app which can use on both android and iOS devices. Here I want to use a scrollview with y direction paging and "data-scroll = yp" work for me. But here I'm experiencing an issue with device orientation change.So inportrait mode when we seeing 2nd page, scrollview offset is -768 and it is ok. But here if we rotate the device to landscape mode, then to see the complete page scrollview offset should be -1024. But still it is remaining in -768. So we have to give some touch movement to jump it to correct position.Actually this is a huge bug for scrollview and I tried a lot to fixed this. I bind a method with orientation change in scrollview widget and that method can not access other properties in the widget.
Do we have any alternative for orientation attribute of Td element in javascript for firefox? Below code works fine in IE but throws undefined in firefox:
i'm using the 1.7.2/Slider and i'm quite pleased with it. The only thing that bothers me is how to change the direction of the slider when in vertical orientation. The default values are: min at bottom, max at top, but I want to reverse that, so the slider always starts from top to bottom. I tryed different things like modifying the code in ui.slider.js, but it didn't seem to work.
Using the very basic jqModal example, isn't it supposed to auto size and auto center the modal on the page? I placed a table that was wider than the modal's default settings and it's off the page and does not create scroll bars on the page to see the hidden section of the modal.
The default class is
Now, I know I can change the width of the modal but what about the positioning?
I am trying to align a table within a web page both horizontally and vertically so it appears centred on the web browser. Not the contents of the table but the table itself.
I am currently getting a music blog started and have been given the opportunity to place an ad on my site. They company has given me the code for the Javascript ad, but when I put it in (at the top of my page) on my HTML/CSS sheet, it automatically aligns to the right. I really want it to align in the center. How do I get it to do this? I have tried typical align="center" methods but it looks like the Javascript requires a different type of coding and I am not familiar with it.
Hey just a quick question... I have something centered on my page (its a table). How can I align something to the left of what I already have centered?
The table is generated dynamically. The table can have 0 or more than 1 rows. I cant change the HTML of the table. The table is created with a button click which has my Javascript code.
take a look at this link for me? For some reason this works perfectly in everything but IE.I am sure there is some simple fix for this alignment issue, I just can't figure it out
