Update Order Form Without Page Refresh Modification

[URL]. I looked at this script and I tried playing around with it but could not figure out how to: Instead of having a check box field and then a radio box field, have 2 radio box fields, so the user picks from one group of radio boxes and then another. Then change the math behind it so the values in the first field are multiplied by 100 and then the values in the second field tack on a percentage (ex value in first field is 1.5 so 1.5x100 = 150 and value in second field is .5 so total is 225).
I needed to calculate my prices on-the-fly and display it in textbox with javascript. Well I did succeed with values of radio button an checbox, but as I know very little javascript, I don't know how to expand the code I got from here: [URL].
How can I make this happen: I have a textbox: HTML Code: <input type="text" name="podstranice" size="19" class="podstr" onkeyup="this.form.total.value=calculateTotal(this);"> And when a user inputs a number in it, javascript multiplies it with some other number, say 10 (its a price*quantity thing) and adds it to the total price along with data from checkboxes and radio buttons. And so, this is my javascript. It is basically identical to one on the link, but you can view it better this way I think.
Code: // Calculate the total for items in the form which are selected. function calculateTotal(inputItem) { with (inputItem.form) { // Process each of the different input types in the form. if (inputItem.type == "radio") { // Process radio buttons .....
In my jsp,Struts project i am using the javascript calendar control for selecting the date and by using function calcage() i am calculating the age of the user but problem occurs when the page refreshes OR when user updated the other values such as name ,contact no. Then the value of the age is set as 0 in the textfield as 0
My table columns are sorted by the Tablekit library [URL]. The user can click the columns to toggle the sort order either ascendingly or descendingly. I can save the current sort order (preference) in the server. After the page is refreshed, the web page is sorted by the original sort order. How to make the Tablekit library to sort with the current sort order after page refresh? My web page column is: <th class="sortfirstdesc" id="urgency" onClick="reverseOrder($sortdesc)">ID</th>
what I have is a code containing 2 iframes inside a div.what I'd like to do is refresh one of the iframes when it's page recieves an update from another user.
perhapse I could load the page on the document load, and store those contents in a var.then have a code that will compair the remote page to the var every second or so.if the page compairs differently, update the var info and refresh the iframe.
I'm using an xmlhttp request to get information from a database. Everything works fine in Firefox, and it works in IE until you try to refresh the page. If a news post (thats what it is getting from the database) is deleted it will continue to show the same information. I can't really post all of the script because it (along with the html and php) are spread out through many different pages:
I need to create an order form for my page. I am new to javascript so I want to keep in basic.Its for parts (example (mouse pads, box of floppy disks, box DVD+R, A4 sheet 500 sheets)I want the scripts to perform the following:Display an order form for the user to fill out inside the form accept the users input for the number of each item they wish to purchase.validate their input and display an alert for any invalid data.display an alert when Check button pressed.display the values that were input and the final cost of the order.
Include input values from the form using the document.formname.variablename.value = construct use the onclick of your Check button to call your calculation function set the value of your final values using the this.form.variablename.value= construct
I have a webpage with a form inside it. Below the form is a div. When you submit the form it executes some javascript that adds a bunch of html to the div. I can step through the code in the Chrome debugger and see my dom changes are there, but disappear as I get to the original tags in the page. Is there anyway to prevent this?
I have a "pre-order" opt-in page disguised as a "step 1" in the order process of a clickbank product I'm ready to launch.I'm wanting to pass the user's first name, last name, and email address (built into the optin form) over to the clickbank order page upon submit.Clickbank gives me the data strings you can pass along, but I'm not sure how to properly configure this function or where to place it in my page code.This is the only step I have remaining before I can go live, and it's holding me back.I can provide any code needed for review to assist in getting this wrapped up.
I want the images to change (rotate) in sequence when the page is refreshed not random like i have below. Also I also need text to change on refresh to because I am going to have a descritption of the image below. So the image and text sync up together when some refreshes the page or goes page to the home page.I want the images to change like on this page Loading A Specific Image Sequence On Page Refresh Via JavaScript / DOM
Code: <script type="text/javascript" language="JavaScript"> var imgs = new Array('<a href="VW_1.shtml"><img border=0 src="img/samples/VW/large_1.jpg" width=165 height=109" class="thumbnail_img">', '<a href="fortshelby1.shtml"><img border=0 src="img/samples/Fort Shelby/image1-large.jpg" width=165 height=109 class="thumbnail_img">', '<a href="jaguar1.shtml"><img border=0 src="img/samples/Jag_of_Novi/large_1.jpg" width=165 height=109 class="thumbnail_img">', ..... var max = imgs.length; var num = Math.floor((Math.random() * max)); document.writeln(imgs[num]); </script>
I'm trying using this good example [URL] but I need to use it with more than 1 parameter. What I'm trying to do is a form with two fields (i.e. Name and city) who feed a query. The results of the query should be shown below the form.
i.e.: Enter name and city in the follow form...
SELECT * FROM partecipants WHERE name=name AD city=city
I am running into a problem, that no one else in the world seems to have. When I make a form and submit the page is refreshed, or rather redirected to a state with the values filled after the ? [URL]
I have found solutions that have worked for other people, none of them work for me. I have tested my forms on multiple browsers on multiple systems and the problem persists.
Here is one example of my code where this happens.
<script type="text/javascript"> function checkCC(myForm) { var ccType; var ccLength;
[Code].....
How do I get this to not happen? I've tried almost every fix I could find that worked for other people none have worked for me.
I currently have a form that asks for certain info. When the user enters and then submits it, a javascript script sends the info to a php form and then php does its thing. While doing its thing, php tries to change a php session. I am wondering if there is a way to change the php session, and have it take effect on the user end without a refresh. So if the user has a session for their name (Bob), then goes to this form and changes it to Joe, then session the user has will be changed from Bob to Joe without the page reloading. Is this possible?
All I need is a MySQL update by pressing the submit button. The user sould't get on the php site by pressing the Submitbutton and when it's possible there should't be a page refresh by pressing the submit button.
The jquery.form.js plugin also didn't work that way.
I want to have a form to select between English and Spanish on a site. Upon selecting a radio buton (I prefer to do this without a submit button - just select the radio button and move on), I want a cookie to be set for which selection has occured and then be taken to that page. On the return visit I'd like to check for this cookie and then be sent to the correct page if it exists. Anyone have any ideas? I've found a few cookie tutorials and things, but they invole a submit button or a manual page refresh after the selection.
we are developing an web application. In this user has an option to comment or mark a video. After user commented or marked it has to shown automatically on the page with out refreshing the page.
I'm working on a project which requires a small portion from a large table of information to be displayed on a webpage (sort of like a magnifying glass). The display will be a table of fixed size (m by n cells). Some of the cells will be merged. When the table updates, different sets of cells may be merged.
It needs to be coded in HTML5, which I assume includes the use of JavaScript and CSS (The specs of this is rather unclear at the moment, so I'm going to cover all bases).
Anyhow, looking through the HTML5 and JavaScript tutorials, I found two ways to solve this problem. One way would be to have a script to parse out the relevant information, and have it output into a table (dynamically generating the HTML required).
The second way would be to have the script draw the table on its own in a canvas.
User events (such as arrow keys on the keyboard) will change the position of the focus (move the magnifying glass in a cardinal direction).
I hit a small snag with the first solution - Is it possible to update the table on the page (including changing the structure of it) without having to refresh?
I've a form having input feilds name , email, image and comments. I want to submit the form without page refresh and upload the file on server using ajax jquery in php language. i
I'd want that: at the first user's click on the #register div, the div #registerForm become visible, it should remains visible also when the user click the submit button within and it should disappear if the user click a second time on the #register.I partially solved my problems with this:
