Stop Script Alert Within Iframe?
Mar 19, 2009I am displaying a web page within an iframe on my own site. The problem is that this web page has an alert on body onload.
Is there any way I can supress the alert via my iframe onload attribute?

If yes continue to the url that in the function, if no stay on the page.

So my question is, how do i tie this jquery alert to the button to stop the action.
Right now it pops up but does not stop the page from going to the url.

Feb 11, 2009I want to give a warning to user when she tries to navigate away from the page. So I am using a 'Confirm' dialogue. Pressing cancel should stop her from leaving the page.
This is my function which is called from the onUnload of the body tag of the page. code...
When I click on 'Cancel' button (part of the form within the same page), then this code is called and if I press cancel in the dialogue, user stays on same page.
However, I press any outside link, which takes user to some other page, then pressing cancel in the dialogue doesn't stop user moving away from the page.
Stop Iframe From Loading?

It's the subsequent reloads that need to pass back their height to the parent page There seem to be lots of solutions for that around, but few I can see for resizing each time the iframe reloads.
