I'm developing a website and I am using a slideshow done in jquery which works fine on all pages expect the gallery page.On the gallery page I am using Lightbox2 but as soon as I add the js files to this page the slideshow stop working and only shows one image.

the problem is that the scroller works fine on two of the pages but does not work at all on the one page.here is what i am getting on that page

the only common denominator i can see is that the page it does NOT work on is in fact a photo manager page, the other two (that DO work dont deal with photos)i checked the array and the js vars and stuff are different from my photo manager vars (php) so i was thinking maybe there might be a clash of some kind accessing the queries at the same time when the page loads but i dont get any errors other than these.by the way the scroller is black not grey like the others for background.does it sound like from the errors that i am getting that it might be a db query clash of some kind.
I have a Nivo slider that works fine on this page.

I'm creating a Dreamweaver CSS site based off a template I purchased.In this site,I want to have page with a gallery of my company's products.So I went to http://smoothgallery.jondesign.net/, used the "Gallery Set" setup, and put it into my web page.It all works GREAT...except the gallery is left-aligned and I want it centered on my page.I'm not all that familiar with css or javascript, and nothing I'm doing is getting my gallery to center.

Are there any Javascript/AJAX, etc type galleries I can use to achieve this same effect?
I created an image gallery which displays 63 images in a slideshow. The
problem is that the show was slow because each image loaded one at a time
during the show. No problem right? I just did a preload script. But then the
user has to sit for 5 minutes waiting for 63 images to download! My images
are about 640x480 and average 100kb. Is this too much for one page to load?
Should I load my slideshow into differerent windows? If so, don't I have the
same problem with my loading time?
I see in the script for this slideshow a way to customize the nav panel.

I am using jQuery with a Brightpearl website, except on one of our pages, (edit your address book page), the slideshow images, instead of fading one into the other as it should, decide to tile over the top of the page and don't fade at all. The input boxes show through, but not the submit button, so it renders the page useless.

I have a joomla site, for which I have created a calendar, it is built with javascript and php, there is also an ajax request to update the calendar.
The calendar works fine in the main page, but when I go to any other link the calendar stops working.

I can click the next button and go forward until it reaches the last slide then it sticks. The Back button is also broken. This code works great with 1.3.1 and 1.2.6 but has the aforementioned bugs in 1.3.2....

My problem here is that I recently implemented a javascript slideshow for my page, but it only seems to work on Firefox and not on any other browser (such as IE and Safari).

At my whits end with trying to get jquery cycle to play nice with IE and pngs. I know its the opacity issue but I just can't tweak it.Can someone please suggest a better solution for my slideshow? View 3 Replies View RelatedIn the past few days I've been trying to make this script work but why the following script works on IE but not on other browsers? It seems that IE waits for the <img> tags to load in the #slideshow and then starts the slideshow. The other browsers seem to load the slideshow while the XML parser is trying to load img tags. It only shows the first image and doesn't do anything else. What could cause this? I tried delay(), load(), ready().

As stated my code works in Chrome but that's it. In IE and FF there are no errors but it only shows about 1/3 of the slide show and cuts the rest off. code...

1. Load the first page of a series of pages into an iframe when you click a link
2. On each click load the next in order page
3. When last page has loaded if clicked again will start from the beginning.
What I am doing: I am creating a tutorial for a friend who cannot figure out how to use her new rental management program. I could use a manual slide show to have her click for the next image however, there are a LOT of tutorial images which show her what to do at that point. Her program contains a great number of setup screens, report screens etc. This means the slide show would be sitting there loading all these images before it will work. So, I figured, OK make a page with an iframe, and then I could put each image on it's own little page i.e. page1, page2 etc. Place a little button, or a next link, then have the link load the pages into the iframe in order.
One that can edit a bit of Javascript but is not able to write it. I found a very nice image-gallery in javascript and it is working fine.but I would like to have several images-gallery's on the same page and then that doesn't work.

The thumbnails show up fine in both of the images-gallery's but the main image stays empty in the second image-gallery. What can I do to have the possibility to have more than one image-gallery the same page?

I've found a post regarding this issue but it's a little bit different this time.So I've created a .php script which creates some galleries where users can click them and browse their respective photos. It works like a charm in Chrome and FireFox, but IE doesn't like it.With this code:

When I click on the gallery thumb it should open the first photo in fancybox and browsing through the gallery should by peanuts. And it is, but with IE just opens the .jpg in a blank page without fancybox. The strange thing is I've used the same script approach in another website and the fancybox works just fine with IE too. So why doesn't in this case?

My question is, how do I combine those two galleries? How can I make one gallery that contains both kinds of links? Since the two galleries were copied from different places, the names they use aren't the same, and I'm not sure what to change to make it all unified. (I tried fiddling with it for over an hour before giving up.)
