Getting Simple Instant Price Quote Calculator?
Jan 19, 2011I am trying to come up with an instant price quote calculator in javascript.it would be a simple one with only three fields:
"label" -Number of Shirts
"label" -Number of Colors on Front
"label" -Number of Colors on Back
"button" calculate total
"results" total: $xx per bagxx
total price would decrease based on the number of shirts (more volume) / increase based on the number of colors both front and back.
something i found online that is 100% what i want:[URL]i am not too familiar with javascript. ok tinkering with jquery but that's it.i am obviously not asking anyone to work for free but if someone could point me to a semblance of a solution, some code, something online that i could modify etc. i would love to learn javascript in the process and ideally come up with a working version of the calculator.
i tried to work with the .js from that website but it calls in some qq2.php page. so i haven't been able to replicate the solution. plus, i would assume that their price structure would be different than mine.

So i have used this code, so after some seconds the iframe will send the guest to another page. <meta http-equiv="refresh" traget="_top" content="5 url=http://mypage.com"/> But the thing is that i want the WHOLE page to reload, and go to that page after 5 seconds (we can say). With that code, only the iframe are going to another page. Is it possible to make the whole page send the user after some seconds, to another page and not only the iframe?

The issue I have with this is that the value dispalyed for the "time2" element is the actual attribute value (for instance 60) and not the actual value (for instance "Minutes").

I would like to send it to a form page called "answer.html". I am not a computer person, and I am doing this in frontpage. I do not know how to write java or anything, I just copied this from a free script site and am trying to use it.

Aug 17, 2006I created an extension for firefox that acts as a bookmarklet for
Gmail, Yahoo, and all standalone clients (via the mailto function).
Upon clickin on the toolbar-button it will send a user the the title
and url in the subject line and body respectively.
Recently, I've been bombarded with emails on adding a feature which
will allow the user to send the page as it is displayed (none of the
coding).
I;ve been researching for a couple of days now and I've come up with
nothing.
I know in IE 5.5+ they have a feature that does this but no one seems
to know how to emulate this feature.
I thought there might be somethign along the lines of
"content.document.*" like there is for the title fo a document,
"content.document.title".....
JQuery :: Send Href Variable To New Page Img Src?
Apr 14, 2011I have a base html page which contains several thumbnail images with links to enlarged images which I'd like to view in an external page [so I can control the dimensions of the enlarged image]. I thought it best to use an externaltemplate html page to launch these within and therefore imagine I need to declare the variable in the thumb links page & image they may need to look something like this:

I've looked all over Google & can only see something similar to this in php. Is there a way to achieve this with jQuery instead?

The above work great if I want to send a link to the page. How do I amend the above so that the the mail_str = contentWindow html?
And do I need to do make other changes to format the email as html rather than text?

How To Send The Current Page's Content As Part Of A Form

- I have a page with a form inside. When the user submits the form, I
would like to have a hidden variable in that form that contains the
entire page content as it was when the 'submit' button was clicked
(including the HTML, not only the form values). (The reason I want to
do this is that I want to save every 'form submission' to a database on
the server side.)
I read about the innerHTML, but it looks like its not portable across
browsers.
I suspect the solution would be using somekind of javascript, by
iterating through the DOM elements of the document and so on, but I'm
not sure..

Using Anchor Jumps With 'instant' Anchor Based Navigation?
Sep 4, 2011Having a little bit of trouble with a site I'm currently working on I'm using some AJAX for the instant g-mail/facebook style navigation, you know the kind, with no refreshes, etc. Problem is, to allow for back/forward and bookmarks, I currently use a URL that looks like:[URL].. This is fine, not a problem... The issue comes into play when I want to open up the news.html page, from my home.html page, and have it open to news item #6 (for example).
I can't add a #, because one is already being used to reference the anchor for the content div. Has anyone run into a similar problem before? If so, how did you resolve it? Can some jQuery be used to find the location of the news item div in question, on load, and scroll to it like that?

Jan 13, 2009A page I'm working on lets users open a new window, which in turn lets them send data back to the parent page to create new table rows, cells, links, etc. One of the links created is "delete", so it should delete the row that the delete link belongs to when clicked on. I can do this no problem in ff using the setAttribute('onclick',onClickEvent), but can't do this in IE. I'll show some code to make this easier to understand....
