Open/hide Comment Editor In One Page Code?

I know that we can combine 2 pages into one, but i dont know what exact terms it called or say open and hide?
I have 2 pages, view.php and comment.php. inside view.php there will be a link to open comment.php. instead of doin this, i want to put the codes in one page call comment.php. i'm quiet sure that it using javascript, using id, onclick and sometimes called frames(not sure...) ?? but i dont know how to implement it. So can someone gimme any reference that i can refer to? example and solution aso can so i can get an idea on it.

Why does a comment tag hide the havascript if the browser does not support javascript? I thought comment tags were for comments not to hide things...

So I'm making an ecommerce store and I'd want to hide a product scroller and a banner if the page is any other than index.php, and I know jQuery has the .hide function, but all the examples link it to a button/link/other but I don't understand how to code a conditional statement that hides the code if the page loaded is anything else than index.php.

I need to somehow hide this block of HTML code in my page. Now I have no control over the code as it comes from another site so there is no ID or anything. If the <a> or <td> tags had ID I could hide it with javascript.

i am planning to create a blog for myself. whenever i want to post a code snippet, then i want that snippet to be neatly formatted just like how the snippets in this dream in code appears.links to free rich text editors that serves this purpose. i prefer editors created by using javascript, jquery, ajax or php(because i want to develop my blog using php)i googled and i found editors like tinymce, fckeditor, YUI editor, free richtext editor.but among all, i found YUI is serving my purpose to some extent. but remaining editors are not providing option for code formatting.(even YUI also doesn't provide directly. but to some extent it preserves that formatting..)and also i am very much interested to know what library dream in code is using for the text editor that we all members see when we post our replies or queries... i tried by going to page source

I have not been able to do any JS because my damn books have been on order for the last 3 weeks put a script into my webpage so that when anybody visits the 'contact us' page they can leave comments.

I am developing a web application in which I need to integrate a javascript/html editor on some of the web pages and then provide 'Edit' buttons on those web pages so that users can edit the content on that partciular html/jsp page (like editing in wiki pages) and then, when they add some content and click on submit button, the new content should appear on the web page with all the formatting (i.e. bold, italics, color and so on) which was applied by user when he was entering the text.
Now, I need help for the below issues:
1. Suggest me a good javascript/html editor (freely downloadable) which I can use to integrate with my web pages.
2. Once the user has entered some content using the above javascript editor, how to make that content reach the server and update the corresponding web page.

This works fine when I place this code under the html in the main source, but if I try to add this Jquery code to an external js sheet it doesnt seem to work?
Currently my js sheet is called in the header, when I move this link to the footer of my page the code works again, so Im guessing this has something to do with where the jquery code is placed in relation to the code Im trying to hide?
How I can keep my js in the header but still make the content disappear on click?

I found a Java that could hide two <div> with an id="widescreen" on my sharepoint2007 page. But when I added a certain webpart, my script did not triger.
Then I found a jquery scirpt that I used to hide some list hedings. I noticed that the jquery script do triger even with the webpart on page, that blocked the javascript.
Im a bit lost with java and jquery, but it would be nice if I could get the java into jquery format, and try if that works beter.

So... i wanna to open late us say... "www.name.com/test.php"We will get to the domen, but in the adress will it still stay "www.name.com/index.php", how can i do this?I know this will work because i have seen it on one pages, but i don't remember the adress to the site, so can you please help me with this, and give me a example. :)

I am trying to make a gui for clients to edit a php page that displays html and javascript.
I want the user to be able to move html elements around and even edit it like add effects like fade in and out etc.
Then after all the changes I want to overwrite the existing php file that does this for that user. how can you make such changes and then save it to a file?
It's an html / javascript editor but using a gui instead of allowing them to directly touch the code. It would be a security risk if I allow such a thing. So I need to program a interface that would make such changes and save them to file.
Like how can you delete and add new javascript code to the file?

I m having a text data of around 6 page length in a text editor...I want to print dat data using window.print. For that i displayed dat data in a html page and used window.print(). Bt my client wants dat some line spaces shud be inserted first in the starting of the page and on the second page also...After that the printing shud be normal... I have an issue with this directory/locator/finder thing we are building using Google Maps. Will allow you to locate (say) golf courses in your area or anywhere in the US. Anyway, we spent a bit of time adding all the latitudes and longitudes to show the markers on the Google map, and other information into all the javascript code. The problem is, I don't really want a competitor to be able to just find the js file or html or xml and copy it for their own site. So, is the only solution (to hide the information we've gathered) to do this via PHP
