What I am looking to do, is make an image clickable, and when the image is clicked it increases a counter. Pretty much I want to know how many times the button has been clicked. It would be great if this was all done real time as well.

I need to make a counter-script that recognizes all vowels. Technically by clicking on alert button it would pick all vowels from some random words and print them separately underneath (one another or sequently). Doesn't matter exactly how, but it should pick ALL vowels from some random words. How would i proceed with such task? How should i start? Can you give me some functions and/or algorithms i should get to mess with

I read an article on this forum that was about a counter that tracked button clicks. What we have is a very simple site that has a drop down box that links to several different forms that are filled out then submitted (to a server that accepts HTTP POSTs). What I'm looking to do is put a small chart on the main page with the drop down that shows how many times a specific form was submitted, in essence tracking the submit button clicks on those forms. To be exact we have six forms. Please correct me if im wrong and there is a better way to accomplish this but that was the only way I could think of. I do not have .asp or .php capabilities on the paticular site so sticking to a javascript would be best.

so i thought may be..may be.. if i could get the number of times the particular link has been clicked (i know this is crude)..then i can arbitarily say.. that it has been approximately been downloaded so many times..
I have it set up so that there are three frames (frames and the use of javascript are encourage for practice) "bar" on the left with navigational options, "main" in the center where the body of the drill is presented, and "feedback" along the bottom where the feedback will appear.
My issue is that I have everything working except the form! I'm not sure how to make it so that upon clicking the submit button the feedback is presented in the "feedback" frame. This was suggested to me but isn't working, maybe I have a mistake somewhere? Or is there another way I can do this?

I have seen example of checkboxes being displayed (using jquery) as a 'switch' that can be slid 'on' or 'off'.
Is it possible to display a checkbox as if it were a button, either pushed in or not. I would also like to use the checkboxes 'label' as the text over the button. The width would need to adjust its width to suit the size of the label etc.

Everything is working fine except for the button created in javascript that is in the second window which is to open the third window.
