JQuery :: Select An Image Button And OnMouseOver Display Div?

I have this structure (frommarkItUpplugin): It's image button with CSS a:hover element. I want to putjQueryso when user mouse-over that button, another panel shows underneath (with 9 more buttons) to click on. Something like this: How to select that thing with jQuery? For showing/hiding the panel I would use this code jQuery('body').append("<div id='panel' style='display: none;'>9 buttons inside this div</div>");
got a function fu() which should display the NAME of the image upon onmouseover,but when I try it,all the images show the same name,although they have different names in the code. I thought the problem might be in the getElementById argument,that is why i've put 3 question marks instead of an ID...
I don't know how to use the onmouseover event the text , then display the image.For example, I have a <p onmousever="">CHECK</p>, then when I move the mouse over the text, the image will display.
I have this code that displays a thumbnail strip and then when you mouse over a thumbnail a bigger images shows up over the strip. The problem is it only is working on some of them and only when the mouse is over a certain part of the picture. When I click them however the picture shows up everytime. I was wondering if anyone could help me with what I'm doing wrong. My html/javascript code is below as well as my css file.

I need a script that will allow a user to select a vertical selection and Horizontal selection that displays a corresponding image. There are only 8 combinations (4 vertical choices and 2 horizontal choices) I just need to display the correct image and a description. There has to be only one of each selected and only display one image.[URl]..

I have a form that shows some images with a radio button associated with each one. I would like to give them the option to click on the image to select the radio, but not sure the easiest way to pull it off.
I was assuming I add a OnClick to each image and use getelementbyid to check the button, but since all the radiobuttons have the same id (so they can only choose one) I am not sure how to make the correct radiobutton become checked.

if radio button checked display div #something else display nothing if un checkedcurrently I have this and it works but when I click another radio option the div that was activated before stays there. Want a div to show only if certain radio button is checked and if not checked to hide.

So now the onmouseover has again its value [the original one, copied by doing an alert($("#"+elem+i).attr('onmouseover')) when i disable the onmouseover event], but it doesn't work
I thought this would be fairly easy. I want a line to be displayed on the bottom of each book image when the mouse pointer moves over them. I am using IE 8 and keep getting this error message: "Object Doesn't support this property and method"

You see I'm trying to change an event like I'd change a property. The first will change the text to hello. I'd like the second to change the onmouseover event to display a hello world alert... but it doesn't seem to do anything.
Im trying to enlarge an image using onmouseover but im trying to keep the image in the same central position eg. The image increases in size from the middle out rather than the top left corner staying in the same position (as in my code). An onmouseout setting the image back to the original size.
