JQuery :: Expand A Collapsible Fieldset When User Hit Tab Button From Keyboard?

By using this tutorial Stylish Collapsible Fieldset using CSS3 and JQuery, I have created asp.net web form with collapsible fieldsets. When this web page/form loads all the fieldsets at that time they are collapsed/closed but when user clicks on any legend the fieldset becomes expand/open.
Now I want to add another feature that when user finishes entering data in the controls of first fieldset and he/she wants to move to the very next fieldset. Then he/she (currently in the last control (that may be a textbox or a dropdown list) of the previous fieldset) can open/expand ***only*** the very next fieldset by just hitting/pressing tab from the keyboard.

I have a disabled submit button sitting in the fieldset of a form. What I'd like to do is attach a click event to this button, but from what I understand this can't be done since you can't attach events to disabled elements.
Is it possible to attach it to the fieldset? I'm not completely familiar with event bubbling but maybe it's possible to capture the element clicked?

I have an internet key on my keyboard, and I'm sure others do too. When I push it, it opens Internet Explorer to my homepage. If I am already in internet explorer, and the page is focused, and I push the internet button, then it changes the location of the page to my homepage.
I want to prevent it from doing this for my users whom visit my site. I have a popup, and while in that popup, it is likely they push that button, or start internet explorer. Is there anyway to detect this, and either block it, or blur the page before it takes effect in Javascript?
It DOES NOT happen if I push START>Internet Explorer since when I click Start, it blurs the webpage.

This is a really basic question: what does blur mean, or what does it do when used in links as described below? I've tested it on Firefox 3.6 and Opera 11 and it behaves as I hope except for one thing. During testing if I use both keyboard and mouse to navigate within the same session, the browser history for the 'other' method is wiped out; it won't go backwards beyond the most recently used method. Is this not a surprise when you know what blur really means? I want the following (assuming Javascript is enabled):
a) Keyboard users to see a focus outline on navigation links.
b) Keyboard users to see the outline still there if they use the browser Back button, and continue tabbing from that link onwards.
c) Mouse users to NOT see an outline if they use the browser Back button.

I've done a script where a paragraph expands when the expand button is clicked (plus.gif) and contracts when the same button is clicked again. Only problem is I want the icon to change to a minus icon (minus.gif) once it the paragraph has expanded. I'll obviously need to include this in the script, however I'm not sure how to go about it.

I have the following scenario(well the structure is the same):
<fieldset id="fs"><p><select id="sl" runat="server" /></p></fieldset>
The name of the fieldset is constant but the name of the select is generated via asp.net thus i do not know the final id on that element. I can call on the select by using $("[id$='sl']").change() which works. But its a bad solution because I need to be sure that I only trigger the element under the fieldset "fs".

Works as well but i obviously I am looking for a way to target only that select element under only that fieldset.

I'm just starting to learn JavaScript and have been playing around with jQuery. I'm trying to make a collapsible list. I've got part of it working and am having trouble getting the rest to work. I'm using a unordered list, if you click on Category 1 or Subcategory 1 it works exactly as I want them to but none of the others work. I sure I need some kind of array to get the others working, but I'm not sure where to start? This list is queried from a database so Categories, Subcategories, Items will vary, but this is the basic structure.

I have a slideToggle div, when clicked slides down like a normal slideToggle. However, I have multiple slideToggle divs on top of each other, similar to an Accordion. Is there a way to use the collapsible characteristic for slideToggles like used in an accordion? Meaning when one slideToggle div is open, and then another is clicked, the previously opened one automatically closes. I am trying not to use an accordion due to other factors with my site.

I have a following menu that I'd like to be collapsible.

I started a thread here about the Filament Group's Collapsible Plugin, wherein I modified the plugin to hide any exposed content when an new header is clicked, but I wanted to make it even better, by expanding hidden content if a user arrives at a page via a link with a url fragment identifier. The 1st thing I needed to do was add IDs to all the header elements. I discovered that in Chrome, the page was rendering before the IDs got inserted, so to solve that I moved the code to a separate file that executes before the plugin. Here's that code ('fragment.js'):

This works fine if the link to the fragment is on a different page than the collapsible content, but if the link is on the same page, the collapse/expand events fail. I think it's because clicking a link with a url fragment doesn't send a server request -- it just fires off a 'scroll this page' instruction client-side. So even though the url in the address bar changes, any expanded content stays open, and the target doesn't expand.
I'm attaching a ZIP if anyone wants to look at this. Navigate to collapsibleemplatesfaqest.htm and click the 1st or second link -you'll be directed to collapsibleemplatesfaqindex.htm and the page will scroll to the correct item and expand it.Now try clicking the link at the top of index.htm (Test Link 1) or the one inside Details 3 (Test Link 2). The page will scroll, but any expanded content will remain so & the target won't expand.

I have a javascript animation built with animate(). Whenever the page is reloaded, it is playing correctly, the problem is when the user navigates away from that page and the presses the Back button to go back to the previous page with the animation. The animation does not play again, it just shows the last state (probably because it's cached/in history?). Is there any way to restart the animation after the user presses the Back button?

I have a number of pages that organize book data by category and then by unit, chapter, section, etc... Since there is a ton of data I display the headings and hide the rest of the content for the category. When a user clicks the heading then the content for the heading is shown underneath it. This works great and the users don't have to scroll (at least not much in comparison to if everything on the page was visible) unless for some reason they expand tons of stuff.
The problem:My company wants it so that if they expand a bunch of stuff and then browse to another page, that when they click the back button, everything should still be expanded as they left it. The issue is, this content is only available to logged in users and is based on their current location (which they can change at any point), so if their session expires or they logout, using the back button to get to these pages needs to redirect them to the login screen, if they change pages and change their location, going back to this page needs to display the correct content for their location. It is kind of a catch-22. Of course in the eyes of my company "shouldn't it just work that way?"
