JQuery :: Adding Class To Clicked Item + Hover Effects?
May 26, 2011So, I have this menu set up that reduces the opacity of all but the hovered link. It works fine, but it's a video playlist, and I realized that I need to make sure that this style persists after the link has been clicked.I can figure out how to add a class on click, but how to combine the two? How can I set it up so that, if the link doesn't have the class .selected, the opacity will be at 0.3. Unless, of course, it's being hovered over.I'm in a little over my head here. Here's what I'm working with:

The length of few options in the drop down is greater than that of the drop down's, hence our requirement is to show the hovered (not selected) option as tooltip for user's convenience. the first function(start: function ..) displays an attribute (title) of the dragged item once the sorting starts. supposedly, the second function (stop: function ..) would display the same attribute but of the item replaced by the dragged item once the sorting stops.
I have tried a lot of things already, but none seems to work.

It just adds the date value but the "motivo" value don't. I mean everything works fine at the first attempt but at the next it fails.

The problem is that when I get to the end of the list (e.g. there IS no next()), I want to skip this part of the code and actually hide the right arrow. I have no problem with the hiding part - I just want to set a flag when I have traversed the list to the last item.

Based on them being checked I need to add that value to an input (which will be hidden) to be passed as a form parameter. The input they are added to is wrapped in xml tags. Currently it is simply overwriting each value, not adding them to the string. One value "IKNTK" needs to be passed regardless.

I've tried by just adding 'onclick=' to the element that actually shows the button, with a <a href="#" onlcick="..."> --element--</a> manner, and with a <span> and a <div> element around it. Neither of them work. The toggle script is 100% correct (using it actively with <a href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="javascript:toggleVisibility('feedbackform')">feedback</a> ) Of course I made sure the div id had correct name and it is unique for the toggle function.

written in php and javascript (I am only familiar with html).
I needed to add in a new button so I looked at the code, copied the
code and pasted for the button above and typed over it the names of
the gifs and gave it a new button number. I found another place in the
code that appeared to relate so I did the same there too.
After uploading I tested my new button, it worked, so I deleted the
original copy I had made of the page.....
Problem was the new button is now the only one that works and I have
no idea how to undo what I did to make it work again.
