I want to add something to my forum. Specifically, I want to add a HTML and Picture button for when you go to reply. Like posting an article here, there are also these options (font, alignment, insert image) I do not know how to achieve this but shouldnt be too hard.
View 2 RepliesI am creating a small CMS module for a client. I created a little form and when they click Submit, it goes straight out into an include (.inc) file, which is connected to the web page to be displayed.
The trouble I am having is that I'd like to create an additional button that will insert some text (certain html tags to make their life easier, etc) - I got it to work, actually. The script executes and the text is inserted - but once the script runs and the page refreshes (or whatever it does), the text then disappears. The only way I can seem to get it to stay put is when I use "onmouseup" instead of "onclick" - which means that every time the user accidentally mouses over the thing, it inserts the text.
I was trying to add some simple javascript (toggle visibility function of a div) to the FB 'like' button and 'Google +1' button. I've tried by just adding 'onclick=' to the element that actually shows the button, with a <a href="#" onlcick="..."> --element--</a> manner, and with a <span> and a <div> element around it. Neither of them work. The toggle script is 100% correct (using it actively with <a href="javascript:void(0);" onclick="javascript:toggleVisibility('feedbackform')">feedback</a> ) Of course I made sure the div id had correct name and it is unique for the toggle function.

written in php and javascript (I am only familiar with html).
I needed to add in a new button so I looked at the code, copied the
code and pasted for the button above and typed over it the names of
the gifs and gave it a new button number. I found another place in the
code that appeared to relate so I did the same there too.
After uploading I tested my new button, it worked, so I deleted the
original copy I had made of the page.....
Problem was the new button is now the only one that works and I have
no idea how to undo what I did to make it work again.

I have an active Submit button that posts to a Shopping cart. I'm trying to achieve a 500px by 500px popup window when they click the "BUY" button, but also allows them to proceed to the shopping cart to check out. It just adds the date value but the "motivo" value don't. I mean everything works fine at the first attempt but at the next it fails.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm using dreamweaver cs5 and I have created a page that have a table that can check or uncheck certain option in each row..in every column, there is a main button ('m planning to add function in the main button to be check all or uncheck all - but I did not managed to do it right...there are errors)
For example:
Pulau Pinang button, when user click, it will check/uncheck all option under Pulau Pinang...same goes to other columns. After selecting their option, user can submit their option using submit button (option chosen can be in different columns). My problem is, my submit and reset button is not functioning besides, I'm not able to make the main button to check or uncheck all option..

I can't seem to get this working correctly. I have several radio buttons and checkboxes. Based on them being checked I need to add that value to an input (which will be hidden) to be passed as a form parameter. The input they are added to is wrapped in xml tags. Currently it is simply overwriting each value, not adding them to the string. One value "IKNTK" needs to be passed regardless.
