Mar 11, 2009I have a webpage with a unordered list of html tables which is made sortable by drag 'n' drop using the Midori Javascript Framework.
I've tried to add a button to create another item on the list using AJAX. However the items added by the button do appear but they are not draggable.
I've never used much javascript so I'm not able to figure out why the code below doesn't work as I intended.

The length of few options in the drop down is greater than that of the drop down's, hence our requirement is to show the hovered (not selected) option as tooltip for user's convenience. I cannot use the title attribute option as its not compatible with my web browser

Feb 17, 2010I am creating a html form for the local soccer league for online registration. In a drop down box the user chooses whether in house or travel and both choices have a different fees ao I would like to add a $ value to both options to be displayed in a TOTAL box at the bottom of the form before they submit. I would (if possible) like to have that total displayed on the page they are directed to after submitting the form. This page will have a link to PayPal for the user to pay their fee or I could skip that step and have the user taken directly to PayPal checkout with that total already filled in. Is this at all possible? What are my possiblities? I am NOT any where near a pro at the code writing. I can provide a link to what I have done already if requested.

Sep 26, 2010I am in the process of adding a dynamic dropdown of cities that populates based on the county/state selected by the user.
I have managed to get it working but the problem I have is that when the user goes to edit their details this dropdown list does not:
1) Show the dynamically generated list of cities because the list uses the javascript onchange element i.e onChange="AjaxFunction(this.value);"
2)Have the city value that is stored in the database selected as default.

The first problem is to get the list to dynamically populate on page load and the second is to include the users selected city as "selected" in the options created by javascipt and ajax functions.

I would like to check if this was successful before I proceed. What are the possible return values for this statement?
If no id exists.
If no option is selected.
If some other problem occurred.
In these cases am I expecting a null return; an undefined return, a false return value?
And, based upon the complete set of return possibilities, what would be the best and most comprehensive tests I could apply to cover every base.

Double-Drop Down Menu - Only Allows One Drop To Be Expanded At A Time
May 1, 2011I currently have a Drop-Down menu, which has headers you click on to show the links. This menu only allows one drop to be expanded at a time, and can be viewed here [url].
I would like the headers to be able to have 'sub-headers' inside, which also drop-down,to reveal the links. I want them to have a different header colour, and to have the same rule where only one can be open at a time. while keeping the rule with the main headers.

Sep 4, 2001Okay I searched (and searched...) and I see the drop down radio button forum but I want to make a drop down dependant drop down. like select option 1 - 70 in list 1 then the second box is changed to fit the possibilities, probably 1 - 20 options for most. I think it could do it with an array but I have never used Java (well no "advanced" stuff.)
