I am trying to show a hidden div on click of Image button in asp.net. But It is not working. Below is my code.

What I've doing wrong, on first click it detects that the div is hidden and makes it visible, button on second click it does nothing:

1. Image appears on the parent page in a specified ID.
2. A "hidden" field is updated so that when the user submits the db is updated with their selection.
3. Dialog closes automatically.
That's it. Basically it would work similar to "datepicker".I'm using the latest 1.4 and ui and been making great progress as learning basics. I need to do the above and it seems like such a no brainier and or it should already exist but after 2 days of searching and trial and error...
I am a PHP programmer and new to Javascript and jQuery and I have tried about 20 examples/tutorials and cannot seem to get even close to what I want.I have a form (PHP/MySQL) with a list of subjects I got from my database, and then create a set of radio buttons from that list. And based on what radio button they select, I need to pass that variable to a div (at least that's what I want to use) and then show a list of videos that match the radio buttons value. I don't care if its a get or post or other.I tried to use GET or POST so I can use that value for my PHP/MySQL lists.I am open to any suggestions/tutorials, etc.

This is my coding used to create the image button:

I have also tried using the "window.document.getElementsByTagName(tag)", "window.document.getElementsByName(name)" and "window.event.srcElement", but still return the "[object]" message.
Btw, i am creating a user control (.ascx) in ASP.net, therefore i wont be able to use <form> tags.
My goal is to be able to have a page with multiple hidden DIVs. On click of a link, a single DIV (box) should appear. Now, either on second click of that link, it should close OR on click of another link the first DIV should close and the second should open. At any one time, only one DIV (box) should be visible with the option to close DIVs by clicking a second time on the open link. I have only been able to get 2/3 the way there. I am able to click on a link and open it, click a second link which closes the first and opens the second, but I don't know how to close the last open link so that no DIVs are shown, as when the page originally loaded.

I want to show pictures of my students on a page so I can take the presence easily. I made that using a MySQL DB with php. That's the easy part.
Next, i managed to make a jquery script so when I click each image the border of that image cycle through green, red and yellow (in - out - late css class).

I was trying to get the first ul (the children to show/hide) on "this" (the radio button clicked). I'd like this to be flexible to where you could add more radio button/children and as long as the structure stays the same, the show/hide functionality works.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have created a page which pulls search results from various sites using PHP. It displays each result in a row in a table upon running.
I wanted to add a button saying "More information" at which point, a div would appear and load the associated link for that search result within an iframe within the newly appeared div. I've been able to get a div appear and disappear on button click but, I couldn't get it to dynamically load an iframe on click with the associated search results link.

My jQuery code is not right. I want it to turn off the "hover" class and the "show" class of the others when you click one. I think I need some kind of if..else? how to write it? I have a bg image set on the container div so there's an initial image to view.I also need multiple of these on the same page!
I am unsure what is going on with my website? I had flash on it, and I have removed the flash and installed javascript. Everything is installed correctly from what I can see, when I go to the view page button on Dreamweaver the images rotate. I am creating a firefox extension, and I wish to change the image of the cursor upon click of a button. Firefox has setCursor() but it does nto inherit the browser element.

I have built a webpage that is all one template and the use of an iframe to change the content and not reload the page graphics every time. The way the page is laid out is a background image in the farthest back table behind another table of a background image that is transparent and over lays the bottom table image.
I want the menu buttons; with the existing rollover image for them alone, to change the bottom layer background image "on click". The only code sources i have found will swap images in the same table area and not to any image existing in the entire document.
I'm trying to make it so that when a user clicks on a radio button, the image that is related to the radio button is displayed next to it (without reloading the page). At the moment all it shows is the image related to the currently saved option, which I'd like to keep on page load. Is this possible?

when i click on a <a> tag with class poplight this works fine. But when i add another anchor tag dynamically to my page (without a page reload, via ajax) like below...

and if i click on that anchor tag that was no placed on top of my first row it does not call the click event instead i can see the variables i tried passing through that anchor tag on my url.

only first image in the all_images array loads and the rest stays hidden. it works first time i load the page, but any other time it loads only one image. i understand it might have to do with the cache. what could be possible cause for breaking the .each() loop after first iteration? i'm using jquery 1.3.2, png fix and php
