I have an image map with various areas on it. A user can click on the various areas and something happens. That said, I sometimes need to disable the ability to click on some areas. For instance areas whose id attribute contains 0 0. I have the code to split the id and grab whether the values are 0 or 1 and the alert pops up when one has 0 0 in the id but it's still clickable. I thought .unbind would do the trick, but it isn't. The alert is simply for testing.

I am switching the image src path to something totally different. A such, I need to have the browser remove the alt and title attributes. I do this by loading the following in the {SRC} placeholder:

Using FF2.0.0.20, View Generated Output, I see that these attributes are indeed gone. Yet, the browser still shows (definitely) the alt attribute and (probably) the other attributes as well. I have also confirmed this happens with FF4.0.1-Portable.
So I have a working version of a pop up that loads 10 seconds after I open a page. I also have a working version that sets a cookie for when the pop up is closed. However, I need to get a little more functionality with this.

1.) My first task it to combine the two. I still need the popup that comes up after 10 seconds, but I also need the jquery to check if a cookie is set. (I load the jquery cookie plugin for this code)
2.) If there is no cookie and the pop up comes up there are three ways of closing the pop up.
- x button on the top right corner: if this is clicked, a 24 hour cookie should be set
- remind me later link: if this link is clicked, the same 24 hour cookie should be set
- dont show again: if this one is clicked, a longer cookie is set

I have included a link on each page that allows a user to view my site without loading my css stylesheet. The only problem is that a visitor has to click on the link in every page. I'm trying to remove an element that was created after the DOM was loaded using append().
I append the element to a div when the checkbox is checked. But if this checkbox is then unchecked I want to remove the element, but couldn't figure it out thus far.

I have cpa gateway on a site that when the customer completes a function of the gateway.The external js of the gateway sends a command to the website to reload the site.Is there any way I can have some sort of event listener to know if that command is sent or not? The problem I'm having is its causing a loop in my existing JS.So it keeps looping the page. I have an embedded video set in an iFrame (the page is called on.php). When someone clicks the stop video button, the iframe is re-directed to off.php, and the video is replaced with a play video button -- which when clicked takes them back to the video (on.php).
