I am trying to use DatePicker ui. I have uploaded "js" and "css" files in the same directory where my script resides. I also downloaded "jquery" in jquery.js file in the same directory. When I run the script, the field is displayed but the DatePicker widget doesn't show up.
I'm trying to implement the datepicker and I have two fields on my form:Birthdate& Lived here since? In my header I have:
[Code]...
When I click on the 1st date field (birthday) it mostly works... I say mostly because it doesn't appear to be pulling in that css as the widget is pretty spread out and has no borders etc. When I click on the 2nd date field (here since?), absolutely nothing happens. Surely this supports multiple date fields on the same form so what am I doing wrong?
For some reason, if I use the Datepicker within Dialog (both part of jQuery UI), the Datepicker doesn't work. If I use a TextBox (asp.net control, equivalent to type input=text) outside of the Dialog, the Datepicker works just fine.
i have to txt <inputs> on a php web page, which use the jquery datepicker. however when i do an ajax refresh of one of the spans on the page, the datepicker wont pop up any more unless i do a reload of the whole page?
This is frustrating! I'm using the stock jQuery UI Datepicker; it will open on click, but not on focus. What's strange is, if I tab through the entire page and come around to the target field again, it
<em>does</em> open! Here's my HTML: Code HTML4Strict: <ul> <li class="black bold"> <label for="datepickX" class="labelDatefield">Select activation date for [ProductX]:</label> [Code]...
I'm writing a page where I'd like to generate a bunch of fields using javascript and then make them usable by datepicker. The problem I'm running into is that when I first click on one of the javascript generated fields, datepicker doesn't load. However, if I click on a second instance of that same field name, then datepicker will load properly. My guess is that I'm just defining the function incorrectly for these events.
I am a beginner in JQuery DatePicker usage. I need to show a datepicker control in my JSP page in which some of the selective dates will be available for selection. How can I enable these selective dates in my JQuery datepicker control.
I need to show the date picker in an input field that is inside a form. I have index.php which has the code for the date picker, I just need to link it to the input field. I have the form in another file as follows:
I'm using the datepicker plug-in from Keith Wood [URL]
I'm displaying 6 or 12 months. As default the current month (e.g. march) is shown as the first. I wantJanuaryto be shown as the first. How can this be accomplished?
I used JQUERY to create a slideshow on my website. It worked fine off-line but when i uploaded it on the server it doesn't work at all. I'm very new to this so i was wondering if its the coding, server or the script that makes this problem.and the problem is in each and single one of those pages in the menuknow if I should post a certain part of the script or the html file to ensure a better solution.
When dialog pops up and when I want to select date from datepicker but clicking on input datepicker is under dialog. What option make it to be on top ?
I am trying to use the jquey datepicker. I want to show the date chosen by the user in a <span> element with a particular format. However my code maintains the default format. What am I doing wrong?
I would like to have an anchor link with hidden text. When I click on the anchor link, I want to see a text drop below showing the Keep trying information. It keeps giving me "object expected" error message. What object I need to put in there. Here is the code:
what is wrong in the following piece of code? It works fine in Firefox, Safari, Chrome and Opera, but won't work in IE.
The purpose of the function is to receive a list of discussion threads that are available on the site and list them in a simple table, which is created by the function and placed in a div. More specifically:
(1) The function receives a json called "threads" (obtained through Ajax from a server-side PHP script).
(a) The 2nd element in the json, "records" is an array of records, one record for each thread.
(b) The 1st element in the json, "fields", identifies the integer keys of the id and title of each thread in the corresponding record.
(2) The function creates a table with one tr for each thread record. In each tr, there is one td with the thread's id and one with its title.
(3) Finally, the function places the table in a div with the id "discBdCont".
In both Firefox, Safari, Opera and Chrome, the table appears as it should. In IE, however, the table does not appear at all (although the text "Available discussion threads:" does appear, and I see no error messages or anything).
have added a javascript button to my website that allows me to submit information with out refreshing the page, this works perfectly in Mozilla, however in IE the button doesn't display and in the bottom right hand corner of the browser is the little yellow triangle with the word done with errors.
I'm trying to create a JavaScript slideshow that is based on the slideshow in this Web site: [URL] It consists of the HTML page, which creates the slideshow interface:
[Code].....
In the above link that contains the entire activity, several pictures are also listed (slideImg0.jpg, slideImg1.jpg, slideImg2.jpg, etc.). Although the activity shows how the captions for each slide are incorporated into the code, it doesn't show how all of the images are incorporated. show me how I would write the code for the images and captions (so that a working slideshow appears in my Web site) in the JavaScript and the HTML pages? Also, could you give me an example with two of the images (or captions, if necessary), so I'll know how to write all of the images (or captions, if necessary) consecutively? In the JavaScript file, would I write the code like this:
I am doing a final project so I've been asking a lot of questions! This image displays and the rollover works in firefox, but the image doesn't display at all in IE. I was hoping someone had a suggestion what is wrong. Below is my function:
<script type="text/javascript"> function rollImage() { document.woman.src="girlPic.jpg"
I have a page which I've just added a div to so that it will show/hide 'advanced' search options. The problem is that I've not found a way to 'show' the div when a history.back() command is used.
First off I had it so that the div style was display:none. Site user would click on 'Refine Your Search' to show the additional fields. That worked fine, but the customer wants it so that when they go back from the search results to the search page it 'remembers' which boxes were ticked.
The problem is that when it does the history.back(), the 'Refine Your Search' radio button is selected but the div with the controls doesn't show. So, thinking I was clever I thought of an alternative way to skin this cat .
Instead of having the style of the div set as display:none I would set it as display:block and then have a javascript function that would set it to display:none when the page initialised. That way the 'default' state for the div would be display:block.
No dice...even though in the source code it shows the style of the div as being display:block the div STILL doesn't show.
The search page is at: [url]
Click on 'refine your search', tick a box (e.g. air conditioning) and then click the search button. Then at the bottom of the results page click the link to go back. You'll see the problem.
This is the site: [URL] And the attached javascript: [URL]
Now Begin and Contact are fine, but as you can see, the Einde part isn't sliding in. I'm hiding my "Second" div at the end of the transformation to avoid horizontal scrollbars. But after I show it again, to slide it back to the left, the transformation somehow doesn't work.
If I comment out the slide-to-left transformation, the Second div shows on the right, with horizontal scrollbar. So it does actually do the transformation, but doesn't seem to do the slide. I've also tried re-setting the -webkit-transition property again after I show() the Second div, to set a delay on it again. However, this had no effect either.
This isn't really a beginner question. I need to build a webpage that has some form elements on it. These form elements act like filters on a set of page elements. Several input element can be grouped as one of many filters. For example six checkboxes are filter 1 and a radiobutton and a pulldown element are filter 2.
When the user makes some changes in these filters a server request is send and an answer is send back with the result. Depending on the result every filter (group of elements) need to be re-initialized to reflect the new model state on the server.
So my question is: Is it right to see the filters as widgets in a Jquery UI sense? Or is it more appropriate to just see them as plugins. Can someone please share some insight?
I integrated JQuery UI, and I have the JQuery tabs working. Since Joomla uses mootols, I had to include thejQuery.noConflict(); And the tabs script " $ " is replaced by JQuery.
However, when I add the Cycle widget, and I replace the $ sign for JQuery, the widget does not work. If I use the $ sign, the widget works. I want to keep my code tidy. Can somebodyenlightenme on this situation?
I want to display on the partener's website some informations contained on my serveur relative to him (i have multiple parteners) and i thought it would be great to display them like the facebook badge (it's the only example which comes to my mind)
The thing : i really don't know what to do / how to begin :
I cannot use jquery, because it would involve that the parteneer website has jQuery.
I have multiple possibilites on the source of the information :
I can cache a PHP file wich contains informations (but i have 25 parteners so it would be 25 files cached ? -> bad )
I've a XML file [url] but i don't know how to parse an xml file either :O to give you an example i just want to display on crystal-serv information contained between the <GSP> tag where nom = crystal-serv
