JQuery :: Android Browser - With Scrolling In Forms

I have a simple form for a basic expense tracking app I am trying out. The form has about 8 inputs, either select boxes or text inputs.
It works fine when used on an iPhone. On an android phone with the stock browser running Android 2.2, when I select a text field to type in, the keyboard pops up, but the page scrolls upwards so that the submit button is visible.
The text field is hidden. I have to bring down the text field in focus again and once I start typing, it scrolls again to render the submit button.

Problem here is on the Mac the transition are jumpy and it seems to flash the first yellow div before sliding up or down. Testing on a PC it will slide down but won't slide up. How can I get the whole browser window to slide up and down with a smooth transition.
I'm looking for the best cross browser compatible swipe script for android, iphone and other touch phones. Has anyone used any of the available frameworks or have you used custom scripts? [code]...
is it possible to scroll / jump to say, 10px above a div? i tried adding padding, but it doesn't work.also, when I use <a href="#xxxx">, is it possible to prevent the browser from adding #xxxx to the url in the browser?

Can anyone let us know that what jQuery APIs are supported in Andoid 2.3.4. It would be helpful if you can provide sheet/list of jQuery APIs in different categories like TRAVERSAL,CORE,UI,AJAX etc which are supported in Android 2.3.4.
I was wondering if there is a way to prevent the browser window from scrolling when you are scrolling inside an overflow auto div and reach the end of the div's scroll? Right now I have a few people complaining about a div that loads scrolling info on the screen and when they scroll down using the mouse wheel and get to the bottom of the div then the rolling of the mouse wheel starts scrolling the browser window. It would be nice if the browser could see that your cursor is over the div and even though it reaches the end, not scroll the window unless you move the cursor outside of the div that you are currently scrolling.
Is there a way to detect with javascript the scrolling bar with of the browser?
My problem is that the the following script assing to the pos variable the browser window size but only internet explorer substracts the scrolling bar with from the result.

At least i want to ask if there is a script that return exactly the width of the browser's window that i have to output any text or graphic?
I am working in web application project. In this on a div i have double click event to open a popup box, in android browser if i did double click then it fires zoom in event. Please any one help me javascript code for detecting long press/ double click vent in android browsers.
im searching for a plugin/code example for text scrolling. I got some text in a <div> if text is longer than for example 300px it gets cut and is scrolling from start to end, stops for a second and then scrolls back, stops and all over, and if its not long enough than 300px then just displays normaly. Something similar to the Song name scrolling inin anyMP3 player.
I want to make few forms but 1 submit button. I want to do 1 page , 5 forms , 1 submit button so when i click on the submit button it will send the 5 forms as 1 form.
Where the inputs sum1 and sum2 are text fields you put whatever numbers you want in. That works fine. Great. Now what I'm having trouble with is modifying the code so that it will add one form with an input number with a form that spits out a randomly generated number.

On my site i use a lot of features that are unsupported by older browsers, and right now it looks pretty stupid when the features are only partially shown. So i was wondering if there's a way of making the browser look to different css files depending on which browser and version it is. For example, css3 gradient backgrounds are supported in firefox 3.6 or something, but not in 3.0. All the hacks out there is to 3.*, so it changes for the allready working 3.6 too if i hack it. I want to controll it so that i have a specific css file for the none-supporting version and lower and one for the supporting and above. I looked at a bad browser plugin (because it has some of the basic features im looking for)
$.browser is being deprecated however I still need to know what browser is hitting the page. In some cases I need to modify a layout or position an element by some pixels. The number of pixels is different for different browsers.How can I detect the browser using jQuery without using $.browser?

in a page I'm working on I have room for a div height not more than200px, however I need to fit in a text that requires 300px and I don'twant to show the scroll-bar on the right side so I'm looking for someways/plug-ins in order to scroll the text within the div. I have a problem that I couldn't solve myself. I have 2 forms. name="form1" and name="form2" In each form, there's the same class names for rows. <tr class="draggable">
What I need to do, is to take the last draggable row in a certain form. $( tr_object + " tr.draggable:last" ) <- returns the last tr with class draggable in whole document. How do I limit It's view/search scope to one of the forms only?
I was wondering if its possible (or prefferably if anyone has heard of a plugin that does this) to use jquery to slideshow a repeated image across the width of a webpage. IE to take a 50x50 background image that is repeat-x and have the looped image look like its scrolling from left to right at variable speeds?
I'm using a slideToggle() to show or hide a div in the bottom of my page.When the div is shown the view don't "follow" the div that is appearing.How can i make the view sliding down with the div that is appearing?
I am using a dialog where my content causes scrollbars to appear. In IE8 everything acts as expected and scrolls smoothly. It's only using IE6 and IE7 that causes the problems. Content doesn't scroll at all. Scrollbars move, but content doesn't and then suddenly it does, but appears on top of the titlebar.
I'm building single page website with horizontal scrolling script and I want to add tabs (loading external html) to one section. I've managed to place them into a div inside this section but problem is that every time I click on any tab it scrolls horizontally to home page and returns back directly to that tab and not top of the section/page
